LEAK: Obama Concession Draft Admits He’s Unfit

by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 124 Comments · · Print This Story Print This Story

(2008-10-31) — The text of an address written by a Barack Obama speech writer, apparently scheduled for delivery on election night, inadvertently leaked to the L.A. Times today and was immediately released on the paper’s website.

The first line of the speech says, “I spoke with Sen. McCain on the phone moments ago, and I offered him and Gov. Palin our congratulations on their victory.”

With polls showing the gap between Senators McCain and Obama closing fast in the final days, the discovery of an Obama concession speech draft holds less surprise than the content of the manuscript itself, which appears to offer a sweeping admission that the junior senator from Illinois has believed all along that he was unqualified for the presidency.

The Obama for America campaign immediately disavowed the speech, but not before it had “gone viral” on the Internet, forcing normally-circumspect news organizations to reprint and repeat its questionable content without confirmation of its source.

Here are excerpts of Sen. Obama’s planned concession speech.

“My fellow people of the world, honestly…you’ve been duped. I’ve spent the past two years holding my chin up, cocking my head slightly, speaking in measured tones with great seriousness, practicing the choreographed body language of a supremely-confident leader. Frankly, I never really thought you’d buy it. But the crowds kept getting bigger, thanks to pre-speech concerts by top recording artists and celebrity endorsements. After a while, even I started to believe that I could bring change to Washington D.C., and bring hope to your pathetic lives.”

“I tried to send little signals — to issue a personal cry for help. I thought when I picked Joe Biden as VP that would bring down this whole house of cards. I mean, come on…the guy’s a gaffe machine on Red Bull, who didn’t top one percent in the Iowa caucuses. He comes from a state with a population lower than Detroit, but you guys treated him like he’s some sort of distinguished elder statesman.”

“I snubbed Hillary Clinton who had racked up 18 million votes, thinking that someone would eventually step in and do one of those interventions like they do for alcoholics, so that I could get the help I so desperately needed…but you just kept on enabling me.”

“Sarah Palin tried to tell you that I’m a socialist, but you wouldn’t listen. Instead the media viciously ridiculed a woman who has actual executive experience, the highest popularity rating of any U.S. governor, a demonstrated track record of fiscal responsibility, and a personal story of hard work, determination, grace under fire and success that I think represents the ultimate expression of feminist ideals. But the liberal feminists came out of the closet and all but admitted they didn’t really want a woman in the executive branch, they wanted a liberal. And so here I am — Jane Fonda with a baritone voice and a buzz cut.”

“Has there ever been a presidential candidate with more friends who hate America — who pray and work for the overthrow of our capitalist Republic? After the media bought my excuses about Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers and Rashid Khalidi, I’ll admit, I started getting a little cocky. At night Michelle and I would sit down on the campaign plane and draw up lists of repugnant people that I could befriend just to see how low we could go and still ride high in the polls.”

“I kept thinking that my radical position on abortion would be the device that would leave my campaign flopping on the floor choking on its own juices. Instead, there was this willing suspension of disbelief that allowed you to brush that under the rug, and throw the rug in the soiled linens closet. Out of sight, out of mind.”

“On foreign policy…The surge (that I opposed) in the Iraq war (that I opposed) has succeeded beyond my wildest imaginings. Yet you backed me up when I said that I was going to get those troops out that quagmire right away, or in 16 months, whichever comes first. Do you people even listen to the words of my speeches, or are you just mesmerized by the rhythmic vibrations of my vocal chords?”

“Anyway, lots of typical white folks are now hiding in their homes clinging to their bibles as they load their guns because they think that black folks are going to take to the streets and riot just because I lost. But come on now…do you think if McCain had lost, millions of old folks would be out there tipping police cars and breaking store windows with their canes?”

“In closing, I just want to thank all of the little people, and their imaginary friends, for the $600 million in contributions. You can be sure that every penny went to a good cause. Thanks to your generosity hundreds of oppressed, downtrodden and needy political operatives are able to keep a roof over their heads that they can retract in warm weather.”

“Traditionally, politicians end their speeches by saying, ‘God bless you, and God bless the United States of America’. But since you’ve probably heard that recording of my pastor, let me just say, in the words of Scripture, that I will always remember you as ‘the least of these‘, and feel confident in knowing that I have done it unto you.”

Yes! so true. He’s not qualified to push a Tonka truck. I say, forget McCain, forget Obama, lets just keep President George W. Bush. He may not have this country on the right path yet, but because we believe he is a God fearing Christian we can be assured that with about twenty years he might be able to get something right. We MUST give him the chance!

    Give “W” the chance!

    Give “W” the chance!

Who cares if he can’t put a coherent sentance together, he’s a good man, right. Who cares if he failed in business before moving into politics. Running the country is way different than running a business. One of the biggest advantages is, see if he would have running a company, he would have been fired long ago. But with government, if you brainwash enough people, your not held accountable for anything.

C’Mon scrapplers follow me and lets bring back “W” for another twenty!

The first line of the speech says, “I spoke with Sen. McCain on the phone moments ago, and I offered him and Gov. Palin our congratulations on their victory.”

    FAKE!

Oblahblah NEVER gets to the point in the first line. He seldom gets to the point in the first page, and usually doesn’t get to it at all.

Fake, to be sure, but accurate.

BL31U, I kinda hate to break it to you but George W. Bush is already the President, having beaten Al Gore and John Kerry respectively. Running against Bush is counterproductive and frankly a bit desperate.

Oh, wait — are you saying voters should be cautious about a Candidate’s alleged associations? Maybe so …

Better a third Bush term than a second Carter term….I know, I know, I said it before…
And, BL seems to have forgotten President Bush was Governor of a pretty good sized state if I remember correctly. And what exactly (I asked this yesterday) has his hero ever actually done other than give a flowery speech?! What great pieces of legislation has he authored?! Lets go all the way back to his illustrious appointment to HL Review….what were all those famous pieces he authored?!!

0900 CDT, 70 degrees, blue sky and I had to go to the brand-spanking-new sub-courthouse to get new tags for my 2001 RAM-1500 V8 MAGNUM. I’m not complaining—that thing is my alter-ego—I was totally enjoying myself.

As I strode across the central- “downtown” parking lot people were scurrying to vote early here in the future home of the Super Bowl. I saw it coming and I cringed-controlling my Chuck Norris-like instincts-as “CHANGE!!!!!” was thrust in my face in the form of a wagging pamphlet and wild-eyed chanting—a clear violation of my space, so-to-speak, since I wasn’t there to vote, even.
Otherwise, I probably would have shaved first, as I was looking a bit scruffy.
    Anyway, I was rude:
[bellowing in a poor imitation of a drill sergeant]: Vote For CHANGE!!!!!
[gravitating away, scanning for escape routes, yet moving/looking forward]: No, thanks.
[sneering with pure, unadulterated elitist disdain and a flick of the wrist, even]: Oh. You’re not going to vote.
[I maintained my rhythm, cleared my throat, licked my lips, pivoted and made eye contact]: [nodding] Oh, I’m Going To Vote. [pointing] I just don’t want any of that crap.

    I hereby confess/repent.

Funny that you should mention Obama’s lightweight rise to fame and power, UNL. The mystery candidate from who-knows-where admitted in a letter that he owes quite a bit to affirmative action, including his election to the Harvard Law Review:

    http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=NTYxZjIzZWMyNGVhYTRjNjU5Y2I0NmIyYjNhZTg5NzA=

Obama has never had to concede to anyone, for he has never really competed with anyone. He has been bought and paid for; he is a machine- and media-made sensation. Talk about all hat and not cattle… unless you count bull as having heft.

The left claimed if George W. Bush were re-elected, journalists would be punished for straying from the party line. And they were right!

AP - “Journalists from three major newspapers that endorsed John McCain have been booted from Barack Obama’s campaign plane for the final leg of the presidential race.”

Hmmm, it looks like with ObaMarX it’s never too late to start one’s fascist regime in the runup to the election, eh?

Oh, an outstanding parody, Scott. Exactly as you noted in post #2 … Obama’s run to the White House was just stupid enough to suck in the kool-aid swilling moonbats riding on their moonbeams of Bush-hatred.

  • 18 Rocky Mtn. Lioness // Oct 31, 2008 at 7:18 pm

But JObama Bin Biden has/have worked so hard to run this Nations most smarmy Presidential campaign ever. [yeah, "smarmy" and "presidential" are oxymoronic.] All this work and now he’s not going to go through with his veritable whiteYhouse hijacking??? C’mon!!!

I have no doubt that it is his love of country that compels him to do all he can within his Barack Hussein power to prevent any sort of vote recount crisis…AGAIN! He already labored endlessly to have ACORN to take charge of that.

That’s not the sort of **crisis he nor anyone else cares to deal with.

That sort of servitude, honor, character and integrity- we’re simply not WORTHY of! For that reason alone, his name should simply be stricken off the ballot.

Say it with me: “WE’RE NOT WOOORRTHY!!” Say it loud. Say it early and often. Oops..I mean say it proud and vote early and often. Let’s say it loud enough so as to wake the dead and tell them there’s no longer any need for them to vote, either.

Unlike, Yo Yo mabama, I’m speechless. Deeply saddened and dismayed (h/t to what’s his noodle from one of the Dakotas. YEAH..that guy: “Daschle”..one of Santa’s reindeer.)

Speaking of Santa, could we PLEASE have a pecan tawn Santa now? Santa W. Claus doesn’t care about black people!

AP - “Journalists from three major newspapers that endorsed John McCain have been booted from Barack Obama’s campaign plane for the final leg of the presidential race.”

Here we have another example of a “Rovian” trick. The TRUTH is that there aren’t any “journalists” who have endorsed John Palin. Republican dirty tricks and lies to discredit the “Juan”, how low will they go?

Sort of funny how the mainstream press have done so much for “that one” and one moment of weakness on their part and they are through, might as well turn in their press passes if Uno-dud gets enough Acorns in his pile to out number the ones for Sugar Mik Cain. Freedom of the press? On eof the first casualties in the Obomberators subversive ops. And the Dhimmies are still spazzing out because they are certain that Bush was listening in as they sweet talked with their misstresses and then lied to their wife. Freedom of speech? Not if you say the wrong thing about your messiah…
Could it be any clearer? The MSM still has enough time to shut him down, will they have the guts? This should be a wake up call to those that still aspire to speak their minds as they see fit.

Was this “leak” from a disgruntled LA Times employee who was canned due to dropping readership and ad revenue? Be that as it may, I don’t see Obiewanknobie ever deigning to be gracious whether it be in victory or defeat. Not that I blame Scott, he is gentleman enough to believe that there are good manners left in the left!

I will post a link to a long, but very well worth reading article regarding Obama and his followers. I know you are wanded about links from those you do not know, so to be safe, paste it in your browser and drop a “w” or just mis-spell the url and then go to the article.

As for Scott, I would love to see him with his own tv show. If he couldn’t take out Keith “Motormouth” Olbermann in the ratings (on Fox of course) and send him back to reporting on little league games, someone else will get the job since KO will not have Bush to kick around anymore. Here’s the link to the article. You be the judge about what it says.

bl31u: Wrong thread moron. I answered you on the last one. I guess you didn’t respond there because you were caught, and needed more time to spin your lie, right? I urge Scrapplers to go back and read WHY I responded to you.

Your “bait and switch” only works with the brain dead left, which you are a part of. You CANNOT produce the post you say you made because it does NOT exist! I have posted FAR longer than you have, (RAM is a fairly new name), and you only appeared a few years ago. Unless you want to admit to being a troll who posted under a different name? Scrapplers who have been here for 5 or so years like myself can back me up, that YOU are a “newby” here.

If you, (the master of “links” won’t find your own link, the one that doesn’t exist), I then say you were lying about it! As GOD said, “ALL liars shall have their part in the lake of fire!” I didn’t say it, GOD did!

Scrapplers, please go back one thread, so you can see in context what made me respond to the troll. I felt like I had to point out an OBVIOUS lie.

The troll tried to switch the subject, and had 30 hours to respond, yet DID NOT, until his weak effort here. You have to wonder why he responded 8 hours ago on the previous thread with no MENTION of my challenge, until he could think up another whopper here at about 11pm.

No wonder he likes O’Bama so much, they BOTH love whoppers, and I am not talking Burger King! :-)

bl, the master of links, won’t prove he did not lie, but will search the Internet for links calling Republicans liars.

The truth is, he CANNOT prove he made the post here because it does NOT exist, and he was called on it!

Once you have been proven to not be a man of your WORD, your credibility is SHOT!

Nothing you say now will mean anything!

  • 31 mindknumbed kid // Nov 1, 2008 at 12:57 am

If ,on Tuesday, Obama is elected president, it will only mean one thing. That the only thing that matters these days is defeating republicans. You simply cannot close your eyes and ears tight enough to miss WHO the guy IS, which in the past has been relevant and important enough to influence average American voters. Right now nothing matters, nothing even warrants looking at closer and finding out what a candidate stands for.
Talk about bitterness, 2000 is over. Al Gore lost. It wasn’t all about “counting all the votes” or he wouldn’t have attempted to block the counting of absentee ballots from overseas military personnel.
When John Thune defeated Tom Daschle, the democrats started to raise the issue of voter intimidation on the Pine Ridge Reservation, how the Native Americans were being dissenfrachised. But they pulled back suddenly and conceded graciously. Why? Thune’s people had irrefutable evidence of voter fraud, and when Daschle knew it was going to be exposed, it was over.
That is why we need to pray for Ms RightWing, she will be doing a vital service to every citizen on Tuesday, just keeping folks honest.
May God’s will be done in the coming days. And may we be willing to embrace it whatever the outcome.
( In ET’s world God must be sitting on His throne stewing…”Al Gore was suppoced to be president, I had ordained it, and Bush cheated and stole it.”) Probably threw him into deep depression. Not! Nothing happens in this world that God does not allow. In other words, Bush couldn’t do anything to steal an election and end up where Gore was ordained to be, God would/could easily circumvent such a thing. Likewise, God will rule over our affairs in this election and whatever the outcome, His hand will be behind the scenes bringing it about.
Perhaps all of that anger is misplaced? Is that why some “Christians” are going to vote for a man that stands for a whole host of issues that diametrically oppose what the Word of God clearly tells us?

    Hebrews 12:14-16 (KJV)

14Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

    15Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

16Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

    2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Pollster John Zogby: “Is McCain making a move? The three-day average holds steady, but McCain outpolled Obama today, 48% to 47%. He is beginning to cut into Obama’s lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all. “Obama’s lead among women declined, and it looks like it is occurring because McCain is solidifying the support of conservative women, which is something we saw last time McCain picked up in the polls. If McCain has a good day tomorrow, we will eliminate Obama’s good day three days ago, and we could really see some tightening in this rolling average.”

Interesting. But the various polls are still “all over the place.”

After reading the “troll droping” at comment #38, I now understand “IT’s” problem. “IT” cannot read! In my comment, I never condemned “IT” to Hades, AND said that very thing, rather I used GOD’s WORD that says, “ALL liars shall have their place in the lake of fire”, and asked if “IT”, would call GOD a liar?

I guess we now have the answer! Do you have any video’s of your “Reverend” from your Church? I bet he is a LOT like Jeremiah Wright, IF it isn’t, in fact, him!

Also in #38, “IT” said, “-however I feel it worthless to try to provide facts to an audience that when presented with such, just dismisses them as insignificant or use an irrational to judge them by.”

Does that mean you are leaving? Or maybe not going to post anymore lies, or that you are going to do what you ALWAYS do, bloviate, and when called on to back up things you CANNOT possibly backup, cry and say, “find it yourself”?I hope you mean what you say, (FAT CHANCE), about it being worthless to provide “facts”-blah, blah, blah, and would encourage you to be a “man of your word”, and simply leave, since as you said, we will simply dismiss them!

You would gain a GREAT amount of credibility by backing up just ONE of your false claims. Your lie about your “supposed post” of being against going into Iraq here from 6 years ago, would be a GREAT place to start.

That one lie has blossomed into MANY, and that growing egg on your face is starting to smell.

The future of this country is up to God.

He cannot be reached by FAX, Cell Phone or E-mail, but He is available by way of prayer 24/7. Perhaps our current demon, the “Absence of God” pretender to the Presidency can only be dealt with the way Jesus said in Matt. 17:21 “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.”

I’m praying and fasting until the election is over. (Just a glass of water with a teaspoon of lemon juice on occasion plus my prescribed medicines) I hope I’m not the only one praying and fasting. First was a trip to 1 Jn. 1:9 to remove any hinderance to God’s hearing my prayer. I am a strong believer in God’s response to prayer and fasting. How many are willing to go to God’s Mercy Seat and pray in the manner of Abraham, and let God know that there are at least ten or more who are totally righteous, having been cleansed of all unrighteousness.

Matt. 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

We’ve got a mighty big mountain (complete with it’s own demon) to remove, come this Tuesday. - Waxless Fred

It takes the Times of UK to dig up the story of Obama’s illegal alien aunt, living in public housing in Boston and drawing a salary from the agency that put her in that position? And she gave illegal campaign funds to Obama’s candidacy? And she can’t talk about her nephew until November 5?

    Where are are intrepid media?

Who are auntie’s “connections” in accomplishing this deceit that THE ONE has no clue about (even though he wrote glowingly about her in one of his self-aggrandizing tomes and even though he invited her to his swearing in)? Is the fixer Deval Patrick, another Axelrod “creation” who is impoverishing Massachusetts? Is it Axelrod himself, who is capable of manipulating corrupt government figures and the media? How much has ACORN helped Obama’s illegal relative who was to self-deport, having been refused asylum?

Inquiring minds insist that BHO is a tangle of mystery, deceits, and lawyerly lies.

Check out the story, and learn what people in Boston and MA know about how wheels are greased in that commonwealth and how in-demand public housing is: http://hotair.com/archives/2008/11/01/the-obligatory-obamas-aunt-is-an-illegal-alien-post/

Besides the use of pre-paid (untraceable) credit cards ( bundled and purchased by whom?), the fantabulous Obama-fundraising juggernaut raises lots of questions that the media in the tank for Obama have ignored. Not to worry, though, some are shining a light on the sordid process. Will disinfecting light scatter the cockroaches?

1John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I see the “troll patrol” is on duty today. Although I can fully understand how RAM feels, I have found that ignoring trolls is like sunlight to vampires. They thrive on attention, are prone to lying or gross distortions of fact and exist only to disrupt reasonable discourse because they refuse to put forth a defensible position on the subject, then belittle those who challenge what, in effect, is just bait to get you to reply.

We have three days left before we elect a one-term U.S. Senator who has no background to check his beliefs or his positions on. He has only written his first book which can be compared to Mein Kampf. His followers only wish to place Achtung Republikaner and place the blame on President Bush. If Omama is not elected, we will see a “Krystall Nacht” in our major cities. If we go from recession to depression, we could even see a civil war based on race.

Those are worst case scenarios, we have managed to live through the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl years, but our society has become much softer and look to the government when they fail to manage their lives that if they are not fulfilled, violence is the only option left to try and coerce what they want from society or from others. We face times that will try our faith, our will to fulfill the American promise and our need to protect ourselves from our own government. Be ever vigilant against the man who promises to care fore you without first asking what you want or need for he will give you what he wants you to have and no more.

For considerably less than that, they could have put their Political Agenda on a new Simon Cowell show “America’s Got President” Simon could round up a couple of judges and Simon could make his nasty comments. The winner could move on to Round Two ABC could run one party’s contenders, CBS could run the other party’s contenders, or the two contender’s shows could be run back to back 30 minutes for each contender. the finalist for each party would appear on “The Grand Finale” and that winner would move into the White House. To keep things honest, each contender would be fitted to a Polygraph machine before the show and each question’s truth or lie would be viewed by all America.

With the percentage of fraudulent voters known to exist, combined with the number of legal voters who haven’t the slightest or faintest clue. “But when he spoke at our ladies club dinner, he was wearing the most beautiful lemon colored suit so I just had to vote for him.” (Actual comment from a elderly lady passenger in my Taxi in St. Pete back in the 80’s)

“America’s Got President” couldn’t possibly do worse than what’s been going on these past several months. The Senators could go on doing their Senate work, no campaigning, no lying, no personal dirt for the MSM to have to unearth, Simon’s already a billionaire and a Brit besides, so he won’t have a dog in the fight. It would work for Senate and House seats as well.

    I think it’s a splendid idea.

I don’ t know if this has been posted before, but even if it has, it bears repeating, as a Scotsman I pay attention to where the dollar bills go.

Thought you would like this perspective!!!! A President’s pension currently is:

$191,300.00 per year, until he is 80 years old.

Assuming the next president lives to age 80,

Sen. McCain would receive ZERO pension,
as he would reach 80 at the end of two terms as president.

Sen. Obama would be retired for 26 years after two terms and would receive $4,973,800,000.00 in pension.

($4 Billion, Nine hundred Seventy Three Million, Eight hundred Thousand Dollars)

Therefore, it would certainly make economic sense to elect McCain in November.

How’s that for nonpartisan thinking? And as CamoJack commented in his e-mail an hour ago: “That’s another reason not to vote for him, as if we needed another one.”

The possibility that that same Senator is possibly the first black American in history is invigorating.

Listen very carefully to her last words. This is what we are up against.

For those who don’t know, I have had a most exciting couple of months. I was commissioned to do some artwork for a project that is quite incredible. My benefactor loved my work and so the project is full steam ahead. When the website is up, I will direct you to it. At the same time, I had been attempting to start a business with a “made in Oklahoma” product that I created. It has been slow going, but all of a sudden it has taken off and I have two shows two weekends straight and two stores that want to carry my product. Sooo, I have been scrambling madly to get an inventory built up. I can assure you though, if the OB1 Can-Know-Bees is our next president, I won’t be attempting to grow beyond family business and I sure won’t be aiming to make any $120,000. If he handles the economy with the disaster resulting, I am sure that I won’t have anything to worry about anyway…

ReCaptcha: Grant Notes: Rather ironic as my art project has to do with Lee and Grant!

I’ve missed you guys. Hope everyone is well.

Hmmmm, Herr ObaMarx is calling for a “Civilian National Security Force” that is “just as strong and just as well-funded as the military” to back him up as The One is out and about “changing the world”.

Now what do you think the leftards’ reaction would have been if either McCain or President Bush had called for a “Civilian National Security Force.” Echoes of the SS anyone? ObaMarx is starting to truly act like some tin-plated African despot ready to turn us into some fascist, backwater gulag. Maybe that’s what he’s actually meant all along about bringing “change” to America, eh?

Wake up you stupid trolls, the warning signs are all there.

  • 61 Darthmeister // Nov 1, 2008 at 11:27 pm

Blackliar, how could we have possibly put an “anti-Christ” in power when President Bush might soon be peacefully handing power over to an empty suit Democratic Manchurian Candidate nutbag that we really don’t the depth of his mendaciousness?

No, the real anti-Christ has yet to assume power so he couldn’t possibly have been put in power by us. And whatever you may think of John McCain the candidate, as a person Mr. McCain is far too well known a patriot and decent person to ever be an anti-Christ. Nope, conservative Christians have not nor will they ever elect an anti-Christ.

Blackliar, I don’t know what planet your version of the Bible is from, but it sure ain’t from this Earth. The true “anti-Christ” is yet to be revealed you moron so it can’t possibly be President Bush 43 or President Bush 41 or President Reagan and it certainly won’t be John McCain.

Look in a mirror, it’s secular and religious humanists like you who have the very real potential to put the anti-Christ in power and worship at his feet. I’m not saying its ObaMarx, but I’m also not saying it isn’t him.

And when that day comes, it will be rightly said, before the very throne of God Himself, that it was blind humanist demagogues and haters like you who betrayed America and subsequently betrayed the world to an “anti-Christ” whose charm, charisma, youthful energy and glib tongue ingratiated him to the “citizens of the world” seeking an earthly messiah.

You clearly haven’t a clue so if such a thing does happen in our lifetimes you’ll clearly be one of the first ones sucked right into the anti-Christ’s political orbit. Your blind, unquestioning slobbering over Obamessiah is further proof that what I say carry’s far more water than your ignorant wishful thinking.

  • 62 Darthmeister // Nov 1, 2008 at 11:36 pm

Oh, btw, Blackliar, any trip down Scrappleface memory lane the last five to six years I’ve been here would show that virtually every long-term Scrappler here has shared voluminous amounts of Holy Writ. It’s not something we happen to be doing right now. Maybe that’s why we know what the Bible says about the real anti-Christ and you apparently don’t.

So quit fobbing off another one of your patented lies about us. Now go play with your crayons or go worship your Obamessiah … the latter should be a full-time job for you given how much you’ve slobbered about The One here.

  • 63 Fred Sinclair // Nov 1, 2008 at 11:38 pm

No Darthmeister He won’t go that far He’ll drag us down far enough that it will be Americans braving the bullets and seas to escape to Cuba.

Besides He’ll have his Security Force busy confiscating all firearms and sharp edged items as his part in developing National Security. With the Military disbanded he knows that the Outlawed Republican Party will have most of the guns. He will abolish elections. Appoint himself President for life (Like Fidel did); fire Biden and appoint Ayers as his VP. Giving Ayers the job of transforming America into another country like his home country, Kenya. He will merge with Mexico and Canada and a host of other things that even Robert Heinlein didn’t think about.

Actually I believe that Christ will return before that happens.

But then again, I’m somewhat disappointed that no one has answered my 6:40 #48 post question. Please don’t make me do this alone. Pleeeze?

Perhaps there aren’t ten of us (but I don’t believe that for one minute) some just haven’t read it as yet; that must be the reason.

Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama said Saturday he didn’t know his aunt was living in the United States illegally and believes that laws covering the situation should be followed.

The Associated Press found that Obama’s aunt had been instructed to leave the country four years ago by an immigration judge who rejected her request for asylum from her native Kenya. The woman, Zeituni Onyango (zay-TUHN on-YANG-oh), is living in public housing in Boston and is the half-sister of Obama’s late father.

I believe they also have spread the word to other friends. Oft times we feel alone in our zeal, but God knows the truth, (and the post few troll droppings definitely show the lack of knowledge of truth among them) I thought that I wouyld have heard more feedback from my calls to fast and pray too. But I think I wanted to hear it for my own vanity’s sake, to puff me up, which is the opposite of what it is really all about.

Same ol’ stupid boilerplate to justify your hate for Bush, eh, Blackliar. I suppose you can’t allow yourself to think outstide that box of hate you’ve created or else you just might stop drinking your poisoned kool-aid. With the kind of filthy, partisan lies you people on the other side of the aisle have been telling for so long, apparently you’ve started believing them yourselves. And you think you and your Obamessiah are actually going to be bi-partisan (as Biden recently promised) and bring about national unity. No, your festering hatred that compells you to regurgitate a litany of lies to justify your present insane support for an unaccomplished, inexperienced Chicago thug with the glibness of a used car salesman (my apologies to used car salesmen) will indeed plunge this country deeper into the Reid/Pelosi recession and send a signal to our enemies here and abroad that the world is now their playground.

    NEWS ALERT:

Obama Claims He Didn’t Know Aunt’s Legal Status

Yet another freakin’ lie … either that or Obambi is dumb as a box of rocks even though he’s suppose to be the smartest guy on the planet. I bet everyone here knows the legal status of all their close relatives here in the states - but apparently not Obama. It’s his AUNT, not some cousin third removed. And if he “didn’t know”, then why didn’t he know? I guess family means nothing to Obambi, just look at his half-brother still living in a hut in abject poverty in Kenya. Only a miscreant could possibly believe George Obama would rather live in poverty in a hut than to be helped out by his half-brother Obambi.

He knew but just didn’t want to deal with it. So, why didn’t messiah at least help her get her citizenship and put her in a nice home with all the multiple millions of dollars that he has? SHARE THE WEALTH, MR. OBAMA! But this is what we can expect from a self-centered, self-aggrandizing Chicago thug. And this moron is going to “change” America for the better?

  • 76 Darthmeister // Nov 2, 2008 at 10:09 am

onlineanalyst, excellent link to the Aussie blog. Obama: The six hundred million dollar man, indeed.

    What a sham.

The resume of Senator Obama is one of the most appallingly, embarrassingly substance-free ever tossed on the in-tray of the hiring boss of bosses - the eligible local electorate - in US history.

Contradictorily, the world has suspended its cherished hatred of American culture (a caricatured version) in the hope that its messianic leveller will repudiate that culture from the inside. … But the world’s strange, hypocritical confusion is largely about atmospherics, not policy or experience. Of the latter, Senator Obama has none. As a law school “professor” he achieved and wrote nothing of any consequence.

Four times he voted against a bill mandating medical care for infants born alive after abortions gone wrong. Even abortionists backed the idea. He made this revolting decision because he wouldn’t accept that a pre-term infant could be a human being with rights. … So these children could - must - be killed for a bio-ethical lie and a court case he reveres with the bibliolatrous zeal Islamists reserve for the Koran.

He bought a mansion with help from a convicted gangster. He attended a ‘church’ that taught race hatred, conspiracy theories and blood libels indistinguishable from the worldview of Charles Manson. The excuse offered for that by his more secularist disciples is that he was just using Rev. Wright’s Helter Skelter to get ahead. He could have walked but didn’t. Again and again, he chose to be a coward.

Famously, John McCain could have walked out from a crazy, militant snare once too. Like Senator Obama, he didn’t - but for very different reasons. He chose torture over release because discipline and honour demanded it. Senator Obama stayed at Trinity United because he was afraid of what less privileged but electorally useful black people might say about him if he left.

Obama didn’t walk out on Khalidi - just as he didn’t walk out on Wright, Rezko and Ayers. Camelot historian Arthur Schlesinger Jr relates that when Edward R. Murrow denounced anti-communist crusader Joseph McCarthy at a banquet in 1955, Bobby Kennedy “grimly walked out.” When a speaker compared McCarthy to traitor Alger Hiss at a Harvard function three years previously, John F. Kennedy “stormed out of the building.” Not Senator Obama. He’s a sitter. A silent mouse. A poltroon.

The video is very scary but true. Living in a very urban area, I can attest to the fact that many believe OB1 will make their life so easy.

The scripture tells us otherwise. Day by day I am seeing people, even those I thought knew better, starting to fall for the ideals the anti-Christ will present.

Is OB1 the anti-Christ, maybe yes, but likely the anti-John the Baptist, who heralded in the true Messiah.

I talked to a friend last night who said she voted a straight Republican ticket but voted for Obama. She did that because she overspends on her SS check and is always wishing she had the money her brother makes. I guess she thinks OB1 will make her check as big as the working family’s check.

    And perhaps she is right..

    Ms. RightWing,

And when Obamessiah doesn’t make these people’s lives easier, who do you think they’ll blame? That’s right, the evil Republicans and former President Bush because they “messed up thing so bad not even messiah can fix them.” You watch.

The facts still remain, despite the meltdown of the financial markets due to the incompetence of the Reid/Pelosi Congress and Democrats’ intimate complicity with the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac over the last twelve or so years, this economy is still far better than that of Jimmah Carters. No double-digit inflation, no double-digit mortage rates, no double-digit lending rates, no 8+% unemployment rate …

And how long did it take Renaldus Magnus to inspire Americans to turn the economy around … less than two years.

My gut feeling is if the Democrats simply did nothing except reign in the misbegotten liberal lending policies which wrecked Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the first place, the economy will rebound. But with the meddlesome nature of the Donks and if they actually believe that they can tax our way to prosperity while expanding the welfare plantation, then we’re in for a long, hard ride compliments of the Democrats. But they’ll still be blaming Bush four years from now. Mark my words.

Right! This is definitely who we need to run our country. NOT!!!

General Bill Ginn’ USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain WHY he doesn’t follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.

The General also stated to Obama that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171…

During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, “Stand and Face It”.

Senator Obama replied: “As I’ve said about the flag pin, I don’t want to be perceived as taking sides”. “There are a
lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression.”

“The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing.”

Obama said: “The National Anthem should be ’swapped’ for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song ‘I’d Like To Teach the World To Sing’. If that were our anthem, then, I might salute it. In my opinion, we should consider reinventing our National Anthem as well as ‘redesign’ our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It’s my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level
of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we, as a Nation of waring people, conduct ourselves as the nations of Islam where peace
prevails - - - perhaps a state or period of mutual accord could exist between our governments .”

Psa. 128:6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children?s children, and peace upon Israel.

I think it’s a matter of the children and the children’s children that are on the line Tuesday. An Obama win will likely insure that future generations will curse our names and spit on our graves.

As later generations did in Germany in the post WW2 economy. And Cuba in the post Fidel era. How could the admittedly intelligent Germans have voted Adolph Hitler into power? How could the people support Castro’s overthrow of the despotic Jean Baptista’s government? Obama is not another Hitler or Castro he is so far beyond them that they are mere wannabees. Hitler gave Germany million of dead in the war and millions more in the concentration camps. Castro gave Cuba communism and misery beyond words.

Obama said that he plans to reduce our military “….to a size acceptable to our Mid East Neighbors.”

Change the National Anthem to “I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing…”; Redesign the American Flag to something less menacing and threatening to “some countries”. ‘A flag that then, I maybe could salute.’

Yes, Obama as President with a Democrat controlled Congress and a soon to be ’stacked’ Democrat SCOTUS and we will reap what we’ve sown for ourselves and our posterity. And may God have mercy on our souls.

This is the most frightning one yet. Maybe because it is more clinical than political…

Understanding Ug Obama: The Making of a Fuehrer
    By Ali Sina

His posture and his body language were louder than his empty words. Obama’s speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in American history. Never a politician in this land had such aquasi ‘religious’ impact on so many people. The fact that Obama is a total incognito with zero accomplishment makes this inexplicable infatuation alarming. Obama is not an ordinary man. He is not a genius. In fact, he is quite ignorant on most important subjects. Barack Obama is a narcissist. Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of ‘Malignant Self Love,’ also believes, ‘Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist.’

Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of People’s Temple, the man who led over 900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even murder their own children was also a narcissist. Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Joe Stalin, Saddam, Mao Zedong, Kim Jong IL, and Adolph Hitler are a few examples of narcissists of our time.It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Maoist Castroists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists, and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of ‘their man’ in the White House. America is on the verge of destruction. There is no insanity greater than electing a pathological narcissist as president

Newsman, actually, God has everything to do with the election and that is why we pray for His will to be done. We think we know what the outcome should be, but actually, only God knows that and we must be content with whatever that is. It is very possible that we undergo a very difficult next 4 years because as a nation we need to learn something - and that something is that no man, not even Obama, is our savior, king or “change agent”. Only God fits that criteria and eventually, every person in this nation and every nation on earth will find that out.

I have a question for you - You have faith that Obama is going to be a good president. He has never been one, but you have faith that he will be. Now, some of his followers are awful and hang effigies of Sarah Palin or break into McCain headquarters and even are threatening to riot, causing possible death and destruction, if he isn’t elected. Do their actions shake your faith that Obama will be a good president? Do their actions mean that Obama is just an illusion? Of course not, because to you, their actions has no relevence to Obama’s reality for you.

I can speak from experience, as I was attacked when I was a teen, and since I have had other things happen since then that were hard to bear - just as every single person on this board has. God does provide. But what He provides is not necessarily what you, in your wordly mind consider provision.

There is sin and evil in this world because MAN, not God, makes sinful-evil choices and people suffer as a result of those choices, not because God wants it that way, but because God lets us have free will to operate in a world that He created but does not manipulate. We are not puppets. Just as you love your child dearly and would have him do things the way that you think would be best for him, as a loving parent you allow him to make decisions even though he may be hurt or hurt others by his decisions. If you don’t, you are a controlling and manipulating parent who has no clue if you are loved because the child wants to love you or because your child is forced to love you.

You see, Newsman, the Christian understands that this here on earth isn’t all there is. This is just one stage of life no different from the stage in the womb. At the time we were in the womb, we didn’t fathom that there was anything beyond that either and had no idea what it would be like. We believe that for a child to die, it is kind of like being born early - getting to be with the Father before the rest of us. Though those of us left without the child grieve and want justice for the murderer, ultimately we know that the child is experiencing something so much greater that he would never want to be here again. That is God’s provision too.

I know that you don’t understand that and it makes no sense to you, but it is true. When one finally admits that one is not whole until one has a relationship with the One who made him, one experiences a calmness, a peace and an understanding that God’s ways are not our ways and God’s thoughts are not our thoughts and that just as a parent knows what is best for a child even though the child doesn’t think so, God knows what is best for every human on earth.

Where was God when his Son was being beaten beyond recognition and nailed to a cross to die for our sins? When the Son cried out “why hast thou forsaken me”?
What is even more amazing is that the Son was the Creator who had the power to make everything from naught, yet he submitted to the killing of his earthly body at the hands of mere men. Telling Pilate that the only power he had as a judge was given to him from above. No, man cannot truly understand God’s ways, yet his desire for all is to be known to them in an intimate relationship, sacrificing his very Son to make it possible all the while knowing that many would not accept his offer.
