(2008-10-10) — Just as Barack Obama had predicted, the McCain-Palin campaign’s incessant focus on Sen. Obama’s association with unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers has distracted the country from the current economic crisis. The nationwide lack of attention spurred a stock market dive of 679 points yesterday alone.
With the Republican presidential ticket questioning Sen. Obama’s judgment in working with a man who directed a bombing campaign against U.S. targets, the eyes of the nation strayed from the stock charts and from Sen. Obama’s own Herculean efforts in the Senate to get the U.S. economy back on track.
“The American public is not capable of doing two things at once,” said Sen. Obama. “McCain knows this, and so he’s trying to paint me as a fellow traveler of anti-American radicals like Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, and Harry Reid. But that’s not fair. When Harry Reid was elected to the senate, I was only 25 years old.”
In a radio interview with Philadelphia talkshow host Michael Smerconish, aired this morning, Sen. Obama said he “had assumed” that the 60s radical had been rehabilitated because Mr. Ayers and his terrorist-wife Bernardine Dorhn were working as university professors when they helped him launch his political career in their home.
“It never occurred to me,” said Sen. Obama, “that a university professor could be an America-hater who was actively working to bring down the U.S. government.”

“… I assumed that he had been rehabilitated …”
? ? ?
He assumes the same of Chavez, Ahmadinejad, and anyone else who has threatened America, while assuming the opposite of anyone who defends this country whether in the military or on the street corner.

NeaL re: 1,
That guy is AMAZING! Can we get him to stand in for McCain at the next debate?

Neal #1 - WoW thanks for the link whew! Who knew? The line that I liked, “get off of the plantation and get those chains off of your brain! Good stuff (and he’s not the least bit bashful). Parents, all of his siblings and evidently cousins by the dozens (that he knows about). All 100% Democrats, but he decided to think for himself, “….and btw I’m voting for McCain/Palin.”
On McCain “The price that man paid for his country, you couldn’t even pay the tax on.”
I watched it start to finish three (3) times - it’s that good. Once again thanks.

Why are William Ayers and the rest of Weather Underground regarded any differently than Timothy McVeigh? I’ve been wondering this all week, and Rush Limbaugh finally made the point on the air, today?

Ronald Reagan wrote, “The character that takes command in moments of crucial choices has already been determined by a thousand other choices made earlier in seemingly unimportant moments. It has been determined by all the ‘little’ choices of years past—by all those times when the voice of conscience was at war with the voice of temptation, [which was] whispering the lie that ‘it really doesn’t matter.’ It has been determined by all the day-to-day decisions made when life seemed easy and crises seemed far away—the decision that, piece by piece, bit by bit, developed habits of discipline or of laziness; habits of self-sacrifice or self-indulgence; habits of duty and honor and integrity—or dishonor and shame.â€
By their words and actions it isn’t difficult to figure out which choices the liberals made.

OK, I was not around during the anti-establishment movement of the 60’s. But as I am understanding things now, Ayers and Dohrn were participants in that movement. It is my understanding that many of the people that were in it grew up and realized that they were wrong. So there are folks like Ayers that never stopped trying to overthrow capitalism and many of the folks such as them are either “friends” of BHO, or are avid supporters of him. If so, then he is the candidate of the anti-establishment/anti-capitalists that are left over from the 60’s.
I heard him (BHO) reading his book on the EIB network today where he admitted that he learned how to disguise himself to appear to be a nice young back man, admitting that it is just for show, not who he really is.
After sifting through all of this information, there is no doubt that we have hardly scratched the surface of the evil that is Barack Obama.
It is also very clear that if a handful of “journalists” in the MSM were to open the eyes of the voting public as to who he is, he would get less than 10% of the popular vote.
I’m also starting to suspect that one of our trolls might have links to the Weather Underground types.
And then the MSM reports that McCain/Palin supporters are “angry”. Indeed we are, at THEM, for openly working to shield the Obamination from being exposed as the Communist/Socialist/ANTI-AMERICAN that he obviously is! It is absolutely incredulous!
And we are dismissed as religious kooks from the VRWC that hate Obama just because he is a black man. Racist everyone of us, well I have friends that are black and I voted for Alan Keyes. I’d vote for Michael Steele and J.C. Watts too, if I had the opportunity to do so.
And we are not supposed to bothered by fraudulent votes????

How many of us would give no thought as to where we launched our candidacy for the office of POTUS? Yeah, there’s a guy down the street from me I’ve seen around a few times, maybe I’ll use his place. C’mon, we would be very thoughtful as to every detail of every move we made, and it would be planned out to the last degree, right?
Obother makes it sound like it was all just happenstance, and so the kool-aid drinkers gulp it down and ask for more.

JL3rd …
ACORN … Market down 389 points
Leftist Paranoid/Shizophrenic racists bail … Market down 537 points
Barney Fwank comes to the rescue … Market down 777 points
BO gets elected because the liberal media refuses to report the news that the sub-prime debacle is to a large degree the Democrats’ fault because of their refusal to exercise proper Congressional oversight on their watch … Priceless.
13 mindknumbed kid // Oct 10, 2008 at 9:37 pm
Darth- But unless the people voting ever connect the dots about the democrats doings, it isn’t going to do a lot of good for the cause. The MSM isn’t going to be one bit of help, and to many the whole mess is Bush’s and McCain is Bush Jr., knowledge is sort of a rare commodity among many voters and McCain isn’t going to be much help.

Good line Scott. That’s the first assumption I make.

When I came back from “The Nam” I kept arguing with a college professor. He kept saying we lost the war; I kept insisting we never lost on the battlefield. I ended up in front of an academic revivew board; they decided the professor was incorrect.
The old student had a half-right idea. We won the war. Kiss my grits, but those of us with CIBs ain’t as dumb as Osama’s people make us out to be.

mkk #20 - I note that you use the word “evil” when referring to B.O. and so would have I but recently I read that evil is simply a manufactured word to describe “the absence of God” and the bottom line is “the absence of God” is what it’s all about.
Note: make that read “…is what it’s ALL about.”
You wrote, “there is no doubt that we have hardly scratched the surface of the evil that is Barack Obama.” I agree totally, now, however I would have written, “there is no doubt that we have hardly scratched the surface of the absence of God that is Barack Obama.”

Obama has described his association with Tony Rezko as “Boneheaded,” his failure to recognize Jeremiah Wright’s radicalism as ignorance, his friendship with Bill Ayers as a poor assumption; can we really turn the keys to the White House over to a man whose life is defined by mistakes, failures and bad judgment?

Since the Pledge of Allegiance And The Lord’s Prayer Are not allowed in most Public schools anymore Because the word ‘God’ is mentioned….
A 15 year old kid in Arizona wrote the attached
NEW School prayer :
Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That’s no offense; it’s a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God’s name is prohibited by the state.
We’re allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks…
They’ve outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the ‘unwed daddy,’ our Senior King.
It’s ‘inappropriate’ to teach right from wrong,
We’re taught that such ‘judgments’ do not belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It’s scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school’s a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen

Into everyone’s life a smile should come.
There are fewer than two months until the election, an election that will decide the next President of the United States. The person elected will be the President of all Americans, not just the Democrats or the Republicans. To show our solidarity as Americans, let’s all get together and show each other our support for the candidate of our choice.
It’s time that we all came together, Democrats and Republicans alike. If you support the policies and character of John McCain, please drive with your headlights on during the day.
If you support Obama, please drive with your headlights off at night.
Thank you and God Bless America.

I look forward to the media’s tenacity in linking Obama to Acorn-gate, Rezko-gate, Chicago-Annenberg-Challenge-gate (otherwise known as what happened to the millions squandered on education that had no measurable results but that enriched the socialist-activist crowd), Odinga-gate, Freddie-Fannie-gate, etc.
How did Obama’s earmarks enrich Michelle’s employer and eventually garner her a substantial payraise?
Did the DNC ever vet this loser? Who is pulling his strings? To whom is he beholden? Who will really be determining American policy should he ever grace the Oval Office?
Personally, the dreams from my own father never would have countenanced fighting on behalf of our nation only to have it fall into the hands of a lightweight who regards it with such disdain.

There he goes again. Obama was “assuming”… and we all know what that means.

ola #20 - “Who is pulling his strings?†as Rush repeatedly advises “follow the money”,
George Soros is Chairman of Soros Fund Management, LLC and founder of The Open Society Institute. He was born in Budapest in 1930. (thanks to Wiki)
Even George with his billions, and his equally rich friends cannot ‘buy’ America, but they can buy the President and therefore I would guess that George and friends are buying the government one person at a time. How else can one account for Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi? Certainly they did not attain their positions bwo character and integrity. Honesty is as foreign to them as leprosy.
Unable to ‘buy’ America, second best is to buy the leaders. So, “Who is pulling his strings?†If I were a betting man, I’d put my money on George Soros and ‘friends’.

Alan Dundes, Professor of Folklore at the University of California at Berkeley
Richard Carrier, historian and author of Sense and Goodness Without God
Barbara & David P. Mikkelson, authors of the Urban Legends Reference Pages at snopes.com
And many others - Scott Adams, creator of the “Dilbert” comic strip said that Bill Gates should run for president as an atheist business leader
Perhaps Bill is included in ‘friends’ of Soros? Maybe a Republican President with a Republican controlled Congress could “nationalize” Soros and Gates making a big dent in the country’s debt???
