Gotta love those falling unemployment numbers!
Of course, they are falling (in large part) because so many of the "discouraged" long-term unemployed have simply given up on trying to find jobs.
It's a bit like saying, "Euthanise 'em when they get sick, and we'll have the healthiest society on the planet!"

That's correct. The real secret to full employment is to eliminate the unnatural desire in man to work. Paying him to refrain is a good start.

And another thing — isn't it time for our political leaders to abandon that antique nonsense of taxing us to pay for their spending? We are already borrowing 41 cents of every dollar we spend: I say, have the courage of your convictions and borrow the whole thing! Let the Chinese pay for it!
After all, who do you think the Chicoms are gonna loan their money to, if not us? The Europeans ? !? (Snort!)
