(2010-08-19) — The White House today refused to comment on reports that President Barack Obama has considered seeking a fatwa — a kind of religious ruling — against the 24 percent of Americans who incorrectly think he’s a Muslim. However, the president did clarify that a fatwa, despite popular misconception, does not necessarily involve a death sentence.
The question dogged the chief executive during a rare vacation day, as he stepped off a schooner with his family, in the wake of a new Time magazine survey that shows an increasing number of Independent voters thinks he’s Islamic, despite that fact that he’s a Christian currently between churches.
“Let me be clear,” President Obama said, “Our Constitution, as of this moment, is still the supreme law of the land. So, as an American citizen, I’m free to seek spiritual counsel from whomever I please. Whether I’ve asked for a fatwa or not, is between me and my mufti.”
Simultaneously, in the White House press room, spokesman Robert Gibbs said one out of four Americans are wrong about Mr. Obama’s religious faith.
“The president of the United of States, who meets all of the Constitutional requirements of the presidency, is not a Muslim,” said Mr. Gibbs, adding, “Not that there’s anything wrong with being a Muslim. As he said at the Ramadan dinner, we don’t discriminate on the basis of religion, so every American has a right to build a mosque in Lower Manhattan as long you comply with local zoning laws. Not that he has an opinion on the Ground Zero mosque either.”

VP Biden will be in Indianapolis on Monday. Apparently there was a scheduling conflict that didn't allow him to visit during "clown day" at the Indiana State Fair where he would fit right in as head clown.
Joe Arpaio is in town tonight. My bet is there will be more come to see him than to see "the other Joe"!

Notice that he didn't invite any Christians to the White House for the National Day of Prayer, but DID invite Muslims to the White House for the beginning of Ramadan. He hung out with Muslims in college. He went to Pakistan in 1981 for who knows what purpose. Percy Sutton said Khalid Al Monsour ("principal adviser to one of the world's richest men") asked him to write a letter of recommendation for Obama to attend Harvard. Obama hung out with Edward Said, a former PLO advisor, and Rashid Khalidi, a former PLO spokesman. He voted 3 times in favor of infanticide. He made fun of Midwestern Americans for clinging to "religion" (not Islam btw). He covered up Christian symbols at Georgetown University before giving a speech, but took off his shoes out of respect at a mosque in Turkey. He gave his first TV interview to Al-Jazeera. He apologized to the Muslim world for America. He praised the "many accomplishments" of Islam. He said that the US is NOT a Christian nation (it's only 80+% Christian — nudge-nudge, wink-wink). He has quoted from the "HOLY" Koran, but has made fun of the Bible. He loves the sound of the Muslim call to prayer. He bowed to the Saudi King. He's in favor of a mosque at Ground Zero. And he allegedly told the Egyptian foreign minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit that he IS a Muslim.
I mean, c'mon, why should Americans be confused about whether Obama is a Christian or a Muslim??

When I started calling him "The Manchurian Candidate" three years ago, I had no idea I'd stumbled onto a fundamental truth. Maybe "The Red Herring" is a better nickname these days, as this whole flap seems to be, yet again, designed to distrct us from the "culture of corruption" that Madame Pelosi vowed to clean up several years ago. (Does "drain the swamp" ring any bells for the post-MTV audience?)
Speaking of Madame Pelosi, shouldn't she start her "investigations" of those anti-mosque conspirators with Mad How [Dean] and Harry "No wetbacks in Vegas" Reid?

so he has plans to change the Constitution, in as of this moment, and admits the he has a Mufti :In religious administrative terms, a mufti is roughly equivalent to a deacon to a Sunni population. A muftiat or diyanet is a council of muftis. That does not sound like a Christian but more like Shariah as Taqqiya, lying for the faith
