Just days after Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid broke his promise to newly-Democrat Sen. Arlen Specter, stripping the Pennsylvania lawmaker of his rank on five committees, Reid announced today that he would send Specter to one of the party’s minor league franchises.

Arlen Specter, once a key player in the “Minor League”, received a shocking jolt of reality recently when he was benched after a brief tryout in the Major League.
A spokesman for the “Major League”, said earlier, “As is so often the case, the big man in town, learned after a trip to the city, he was not a big man there.”
“Take it from me, my friends, sadly, this is so often the case with “Minor League” players,” said another “Minor Leaguer” who also recently tried out for “The Big Show”, “Spunky” McCain.

Not sure what the Democrats see in Arlen “Stinkball” Specter, a washed-up Punch and Judy switch-hitter, who can’t seem to get over the Mendoza line and has a poor on-base percentage (which, strangely enough, hasn’t stopped him from stealing), but they’re welcome to him. I just hope the Republicans got something of comparable value for him…like a box of Cracker Jacks.
If Commissioner Reid is intent on busting Specter to the minors, I hear that
ELF is always on the lookout for “fireballers”.

I think this is great! There should be more DemDonks put into Baseball where they would fall under the “drug testing/suspention policy.
First on the agenda, check Obama to see if he is still doing, “a little blow”, and check Pelosi for “speed”, crack, or whatever it is that makes her eyes bug out like that, and make those erratic hand movements whenever she lies!

More evidence of the innate thuggery of liberal nutbags like Sykes and Obama. Despite how conservatives may feel about the America-hating, closet socialist Obamarx, no one here has ever joked about Mr. Obama dying from a heart attack (though liberals have joked about Cheney dying from one) or joked about Mr. Clinton dying from syphillus (in fact conservatives prayed for Mr. Clinton when he sought medical attention for his own heart problem a few years ago). All this goes to show the truly discerning person that liberals in general (particularly the proto-fascist comrade trolls who leave their brain-dead droppings here from time to time) are totally without class and humanity.
Liberals and leftists always talk a good line about “compassion” and “diversity” yet in unguarded moments one can often catch a glimpse of their utter hatred for people who won’t bow their knee to liberals’

Here’s a reality check regarding the Obama deficit. The White House raised the 2009 budget deficit projection to a staggering $1.8 trillion today. By contrast, it took President Bush more than seven years to accumulate $1.8 trillion in debt and the libtards stomped their hankies claiming Bush was “mortgaging our children’s future”. This Obama deficit also means that 45 cents of every dollar Washington spends this year will be borrowed.
Aided and abetted by his lap dogs in the national socialist media, Mr. Obama continues to distance himself from this “inherited” budget deficit. But the day he was inaugurated, the 2009 deficit was forecast at $1.2 trillion — meaning $600 billion has already been added during his four-month presidency (an amount that, by itself, would exceed all 2001-07 annual budget deficits). A truly adversarial and unbiased news media wouldn’t allow Mr. Obamarx to distance himself from the $1.2 trillion “inherited” portion of the deficit since as a senator he supported nearly all policies and bailouts that created it in the first place! Which goes to prove that Obamabots don’t mind living in a liberal socialist house of cards since they have the lamestream media perpetuating their myths — which explains the Obamabots’ total lack of outrage regarding Mr. Obama’s and the Donk-led Congress’ prolifigate and reckless spending after having roundly condemned for seven years the Bush Administration’s far lesser economic offenses. Partisan hacks.

Not only did the no-talent Wanda Sykes perpetuate the false claim that Limbaugh wants our country to fail (Are these Obama-bots willfully deaf and stupid? He said that he wanted Obama’s policies, which are harmful to our nation, to fail.), but the crude “entertainer” made light of the events of 9/11 and wished death on Limbaugh.

Darth Re#24, it’s an old pattern: though liberals are sometimes referred to as “bleeding hearts” they are by nature heartless, vindictive and murderous, especially towards the unborn but also toward anyone whose arguments they can’t counter.
Sykes’ attempt to pass off her hatred as “humor” is very much in tune with Julianne Malveaux, the liberal columnist who famously wished Clarence Thomas’ wife would feed him lots of fried chicken (!) and other cholesterol-laden foods so that he would die young from a heart attack. A few years ago liberals staunchly defended a film which portrayed (and glorified) the fictional assassination of then-President Bush. Other examples are easy to find.
The theme simply echoes one which has attended godless liberalism for ages but especially since the early years of the twentieth century, played out in pogroms, death camps and killing fields wherever liberals find, or merely imagine, moral or reasoned opposition. They cannot defend their philosophy except by silencing all those with other views, whether by shouting them down, burning their books, smashing their presses, or ending their lives.
