(2009-04-10) — Vice President Joe Biden, under fire from Karl Rove and other former Bush administration officials for bragging that he ridiculed George W. Bush face to face in the White House, today claimed he had also once defeated President Bush in arm wrestling.
“We were all alone in the Oval Office, as we often were,” said Mr. Biden, then a U.S. Senator. “I had just dissed old Georgie with another of my famous presidential put-downs, when he challenged me to arm wrestle…the truth from my lips to God’s ears, I swear. So we get down on our knees next to that little coffee table between the sofas. And I get the grip on him, you know, the old Biden clutch grip. It was over in seconds.”
The vice president said he had promised that he would never publicize the humiliating incident, “but now that Bush says he owes the Obama administration his silence, I feel at liberty to tell the story…you know, since he’s not going comment on it, and no one believes Karl Rove or Dick Cheney anyway.”
Mr. Biden added that President Bush had reacted angrily to his loss, and pushed the table over to clear the rug for a “winner-take-all Indian leg-wrestling bout,” but Sen. Biden politely declined.
“You gotta respect the office,” said Mr. Biden, “even if the man is a failed leader with absolutely no followers, and has a bicep like Ann Coulter’s wrist. It was pathetic.”

What’s not to love about this one?! Ahh, nobody believes the plagerist Biden anyway… He must use some mighty good tasting lotion on his feet since he seems to have one of them in his mouth at all times!

Yeah, I think “Dubya” could beat old foot-in-the mouth Joe Biden at arm wrestling any day of the week.

“Ahh, nobody believes the plagerist Biden anyway… “.
Oh, I don’t know about that; Biden is five times more popular than Cheney was, and he was actually elected vice president.

#5: “Biden is five times more popular than Cheney was..”
.
I don’t know about that. Seventy-five percent of the people I know wouldn’t know Biden from Adam’s off ox, even if you gave them a list of the One Stupidest Senators In The World. Most of them would want to know what circus he’s in.

“I don’t know about that. Seventy-five percent of the people I know wouldn’t know Biden from Adam’s off ox,” … what ever, … what ever.
Major, I disagree, but if you are right, it seems they wouldn’t regard him as a plagiarist either.
That whole plagiarism thing is a crock anyway! Only “cracked crocks” say that to begin with!
Don’t you agree?

The point is Biden. Whether I agree with you or not is irrelevant and immaterial. Stick to the point or move on.
By the way, Happy Easter!

“No He Can’t” by Dr. Anne Wortham -Truth!
Summary of the eRumor:
A forwarded email titled “No He Can’t” by an associate professor of sociology at Illinois State University, Anne Wortham Ph.D. that says that although she is black and grew up in the segregated South she did not vote for Obama and is not celebrating his election to the presidency.
The Truth:
Dr. Anne Wortham is, in fact, an associate professor of sociology at Illinois State University and wrote this article which appears on the LewRockwell.com and the Wordpress.com web sites as well as several blog sites on the internet.
NO He Can’t!!! OUTSTANDING.. Dr. Anne Wortham just hammers the Obama-Zombies for actually believing ‘The One’ is their ’savior’ from individual freedom and Capitalism! (A superb essay)

Thank you, Andrew C. McCarthy, for being a voice of sanity crying out in the wilderness. Otherwise, we would be subject to what Ben Franklin said of empty barrels: They make the most noise. Dare I ask how that point is made at Scrappleface? I rest my case.

At the risk of sounding harsh: President Bush (pick one) could clean Robinette’s clock at will; he hasn’t done so, countless times, because of his enormous moral and ethical self-control.
He tends his flock like a shepherd:
He gathers the lambs in his arms
and carries them close to his heart;
he gently leads those that have young.
~~ Isaiah 40:11
Easter is the continuing of the Christmas season and vice versa; therefore, it is profoundly, joyously wonderful.

This is excellent. It takes a while to download, but it serves as a template of American conservative Constitutional values.
The ideals of Thomas Jefferson and all of the founding patriots will be our rallying point on April 15. It is time for us patriots to stand and be counted.

Genesis 22:6-8 (King James Version)
6And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
7And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
10And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
11And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
12And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
13And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
Hebrews 11:17 (King James Version)
17By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1 John 4:9
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
God’s love. Our obedience and faith. One blessed hope of Salvation. The gospel of Christ; his death, burial, and resurrection.
It is finished, Praise God!

I recently heard that someone plans to attempt talking to and/or reasoning with various “Moderate Muslims, Moderate Jihadists and Moderate Islamofascists”. That may be all well and good in concept but in practical reality there are issues which arise.
They are difficult to locate, since they notoriously are known to ‘hang out’ with vegetarian Bengal Tigers, Tree dwelling Hippos and Rhinos, Aerie nesting Makos, canoe attacking rabbits and Moderate Conservatives.
The last “Moderate Muslim” I think I recall reading about, surfaced in 1609, in either Rabat, Morocco or somewhere along the Barbary Coast (Morocco to Egypt) and fortunately (for him anyway) he has had 400 years now to become better acquainted with his reward of 72 virgins which he won by virtue of having convinced some stupid fool that he was in reality a Moderate Jihadist. Cost him his head of course, but at least he made his point. What price glory?
So now it seems there’s another stupid fool who is convinced that he too can find a Moderate Jihadist and convince him that after all, we’re really ‘nice guys’ and they should concentrate on learning how to live with and love their Hebrew brethern, in Israel.
So good luck to the stupid fool, who seems unaware that it’s been tried before, with very disappointing results.

Hmmm… No pirate problems for the U.S. as long as the hated Bush was President. Can we bring Bush back in at least temporarily, until we get this thing quashed? I’m not sure the Democrats have the guts to do what it takes. And I’m even less sure that Obummer has what it takes, period.
33 Laughing@You // Apr 13, 2009 at 10:52 am
Major,
What an interesting take you have on the pirate problem. I never looked at it that way, but you may have a point! I see where teen pregnancy is on the decline since Dumbyah left too.
Of course, if the presidiot were to return to “fix” the pirate problem, Pittsburgh would be in for some “shock and awe”. And maybe Tampa should start ‘duck and cover drills, just in case.

Gotta get my pearl-handled .44s all ready for the tea party, in case some wild-eyed liberals want to get rough.
Have you noticed how well the “major media” are ignoring this? If they don’t cover it it don’t exist, right?
39 Laughing@You // Apr 14, 2009 at 1:23 pm
Major,
“Gotta get my pearl-handled .44s all ready for the tea party, in case some wild-eyed liberals want to get rough.”
General George Smith Patton, Jr. (1885-11-11 – 1945-12-21) was a U.S. General during World War II; he was known in his time as “America’s Fightingest General”.
Upon being asked by an American reporter where he got his “pearl” handled revolvers. General George Patton replied:
“Son, only a pimp in a Louisiana whore house carries pearl handled revolvers, these are ivory.”
