(2008-11-04) — The Associated Press apologized this afternoon to its client news organizations worldwide for the premature dispatch of a bulletin declaring the winner of the U.S. presidential race between John McCain and Barack Obama.
Because the actual winner won’t be known, and therefore professional journalists won’t declare the race won, until some time after the polls close, the story leaves blank the name of the president-elect.
Here is the text of the accidentally-released draft template of the presidential victory bulletin, allegedly written by AP reporter Nedra Pickler.
AP Declares Presidential Race Won by {INSERT NAME}
by Nedra PicklerCHICAGO (AP) — After an historic two-year campaign that confounded the pundits and pollsters, the Associated Press determined tonight at 8:01 p.m. (EST) that {INSERT NAME} had locked up enough electoral votes to win the presidency of the United States of America.
For the first time in U.S. history, the voters have elected a {INSERT RACE} man, while passing up the opportunity to choose a ticket with a vice president who is a {INSERT SEX}.
With a charismatic personality, a mesmerizing rhetorical style and a captivating message of change and hope, {INSERT NAME} took the nation by storm, drawing huge crowds everywhere he spoke.
While thousands partied in the streets celebrating the unlikely ascension to power of a man with virtually no leadership experience, the mood was somber at {INSERT LOSER NAME} headquarters, where demoralized campaign strategists exchanged bitter excuses for their loss. Most blamed {INSERT VP NAME} for ‘going rogue’, putting {INSERT POSSESSIVE PRONOUN} interests and future ambitions above those of the ticket.

The liberals may have really set us up. We might be due for our Philistine invasion too.
Prov. 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
Prov. 6:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
Prov. 6:18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
Prov. 6:19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
There is no more innocent blood than that of the 50,000,000. dead babies that have been murdered and a segment of our society that justifies, supports and promotes the absence of God (a/k/a evil). If God does not punish us then Sodom and Gomorrah, who did not have the ten commandments or the knowledge of Christ are due and apology.
A man is running for President who so far is running 7 for 7. Of the seven abominations listed, there isn’t one where he’s not only excelled but he is proud of his excellence in defying God.

I am laughing my tale off. I just got a call from my wife’s grandpa, a life long Union Democrat. He confessed that he could not vote for Obama or McCain so he wrote in Hillary. That way he can still tell his old buddies that he voted strait Democrat.
It would appear that several other people are doing the same thing.

Well Fred, I’m thankful that that is only your opinion, and in the end your opinion won’t count.

Well I just finished my 14 hour stint working the polls as a greeter, My garsh what a long day, but I survived.
My take of the urban, heavily Democrat, mostly welfare community that I worked in? The only rush was at 6:30 this morning when we opened. After about an hour and a half we trickled in voters for the rest of the day.
There was no big rush, mostly senior citizens with a bunch of new young black voters, most who had to vote provincial because they were not on the register. We had a bit of a problem early with Acorn types and the sheriff had to be called in to remove them.
But mostly a very boring day, with below average voter turnout. Now Cleveland, from what I hear, was another story.
I am hoping for the best, but Obama, with his multi-million media buy out this may mean we will fight socialism/communism for years to come.
America brace yourself. As for the useful idiots, prepare for your just deeds.

MajorDummo,
You ask: “When was the last time an ignorant public put a man with no leadership ability in the White House, knowing little or nothing about him? Oh, yeah…. 1976.”
Do you say last time? Is that a trick question? When you say “ignorant public”, did you meant to exclude the election where the Supreme Court awarded the presidency to a moron?
If not, that would have been 2000 AND 2004.
What did I win? Nevermind, my meager efforts have finally produced reward enough. My patriot ancestors look down in pride today.

From the 118th Psalm.
15The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
16The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
17I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
18The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
19Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:
20This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
21I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
22The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
23This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
26Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
27God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
28Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
29O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

I was in line for 2 hours waiting to vote today. It was the largest turnout I’ve ever seen for any election.
The bishop of the Allentown Diocese had a letter read at each Mass this weekend imploring Catholics to vote their Christian values, and paramount among these is the right to life from conception to natural death.
McCain’s people were on the phones relentlessly over the weekend getting the vote out…not one call from the Obama campaign. They are reporting large numbers of voters all over PA. If my district is in any way indicative of the rest of the state Obama’s Chicago Victory Party may have to be put on hold…hopefully forever.
But even if Obama does win I know it will be to the greater glory of God. He will work all things to the good for those who love him. We are in the palm of His hand. May we always be so.
2 Chronicles 7:14
New International Version
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Things to think about after the election has been decided…
Proverbs 24:16-18 (King James Version)
16For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
17Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
18Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.

With the news out over the weekend that Boo Hoo Obama is determined to destroy the coal industry and present us with skyrocketing electric bills. I checked out yesterday’s Gillette Noose-Wrecker to see if they thought it to be something that we should know. We are a coal based economy here, so you would assume it would be considered news that we should know before voting today. It didn’t make it, I guess they didn’t think it important for us to know…

Voting Fraud Made Easy
Three guesses as to who will normally take liberal advantage of this opportunity. There have been enough Democrat-inspired voting incidences already that I’m quickly losing faith in our voting system given how liberal judges and States’ Attorneys seem either unwilling or incompetent in stopping voting fraud. A mere 100,000 votes could turn an election … 10,000 could.
However, if one candidate or the other wins by 50 or 60 electoral votes then I suppose any voting fraud couldn’t overcome such a deficit one way or the other.
BTW, I live in a fairly conservative precinct and the polling place is paaaaacked.
One exit poll has Obama up by only 3 pts in Pennsylvania in early polling, another has him up by 15 pts. What’s up with that?
Which America will we wake up to tomorrow? The United States of America or the People’s Republik of Amerika? Better put a lock and chain on your pocketbook if its the latter.
24 mindknumbed kid // Nov 4, 2008 at 7:34 pm
Being positively pessimistic, I would have to say that I can see more reasons for God to deliver America into wicked hands to be destroyed, than to allow us to continue to cling by a few remaining strands of righteousness, via a McCain victory.

Local radio talk show this afternoon subject - “Who did you vote for?…and why?”
My favorite caller was a guy who said, “I voted for Obama.”
Host: “Why?”
Caller: “Because I believe that if I have a family member I don’t want to be bothered with, it should be my right to kill him/her.”
Host: “You’re not serious, this is a joke, right?”
Caller: “No, I don’t joke about things like that.”
Host: “What else?”
Caller: “Well the Bible tells us to feed and clothe the poor. We’re not doing enough since we still have poor people who are hungry with poor clothes and they are homeless. So obviously there’s not enough money in the treasury and that means I’m not paying enough taxes, I need to have more taxes taken from my paycheck. Just for a little while since if my man Obama gets elected, I’m going to quit my job, go on welfare and food stamps, while I live in the City Rescue Mission. It’ll be a refreshing change letting saps like you pay for all of it. Besides all of that, Obama is fighting against you hate filled Republicans and your crazy ideas like people who work and save up your money thinking that just because you’ve earned all that money, somehow you have a right to keep it.”
At that point he couldn’t hold it in any longer and he and the host broke out into laughter. It was funny because he had just detailed precisely the ramifications of an Obama win.

It seems red-state Republicans and conservatives are turning out big. Wouldn’t be surprised to here the same about blue-state Donks in urban areas.

Y’all might shoulda reconsidered that VP selection. That was going out on a limb at best. See McCain 2000 could have probably won this thing if he hadn’t been shackled to Palin. I love it
32 Fred Sinclair // Nov 4, 2008 at 9:28 pm
Darthmeister #29 It’s a McCain/Palin win!!! With absolutely no regard whatsoever to the number of votes, it’s a simple matter of subtracting the fraudulent 30% votes. It’s a landslide for McCain. Now it’s possible that with over 3 to 1 advantage in the money department on The Liar’s side combined with the theft of military votes, Obama could possibly steal this election.
I’m monitoring locally 1260 A.M. Christian talk radio and it’s looking better for McCain. We worship a God who specializes in miracles. With the “Absence of God” controlled MSM. The lie of committing to public funding and then breaking his word. (I don’t do well with liars). I pray the Lord’s will be done.
1Kings 16:29 And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years.
1Kings 16:30 And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him.
1Kings 16:33 And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.
7 out of 7 is a fearsome fact. I’m praying that God will have mercy on America and not give us a modern day Ahab.

Black Lion, what you don’t understand is that what Fred and MKK and Just Ranting have been giving you is straight out of scripture. It is God’s word, not theirs. You have been handed some pretty powerful words, but you choose to make fun of them, ignore them and ridicule them. You and everyone else will answer to God whether you think so or not. You will and when that day comes, you will be heartbroken.
What is happening in our nation is a result of our choices. It is not the result of one president or one Congress, but of the choices of an entire nation in rebellion against the Godly principles that actually put us in the place where you and all of the Obamites want to be - at peace, and charitable and just.
You think that these attributes and the Eutopia you seek can be achieved by man, but man has tried over and over for century after century and has failed miserably. Only God is peace. Only God is justice. And only God is love. Sneer if you will, but the hope and change that you seek is not in a man named Obama and you are going to be sorely disappointed in what your life will be in his hands. Some day in the future, look back on this post and remember.

Conserve-a-tip,
Thank you, I respect that they are speaking from scripture. However, why did Jesus speak in parables to his own followers?
I believe it was his way to explain things to his followers without jeopardizing there own free will.
I believe that God speaks through his word the message that each individual needs to hear and has the free will to interpret.
As for Paradise, you call Utopia, You are focused on life on earth, I am focused beyond.
My God has no concern over our Kings or leadership now. His Kingdom is in heaven. However while I am here, I will support those who closest resemble my belief in words, character and actions. I am human and God allows me to make mistakes. I believe that those who represent him falsely have less understanding.
Thanks

If B.O.’s successful with his coup d’état, I’ll pray for the usurper because the Bible says to do so. But 1st I’ll have to pray for a desire to pray for him without being a hypocrite.
usurp |yoÅˈsÉ™rp|
verb [ trans. ]
take (a position of power or importance) illegally or by force : Richard usurped the throne.
• take the place of (someone in a position of power) illegally: supplant : the Hanoverian dynasty had usurped the Stuarts.
• [ intrans. ] ( usurp on/upon) archaic encroach or infringe upon (someone’s rights) : the Church had usurped upon the domain of the state.
DERIVATIVES
usurpation |ËŒyoÅsÉ™rˈpÄ sh É™n| |ˈjusÉ™rˈpeɪʃən| |ˈjuËzəˈpeɪʃ(É™)n| |ˈjuËs-| noun
usurper |juˈsərpər| noun
ORIGIN Middle English (in the sense [appropriate (a right) wrongfully] ): from Old French usurper, from Latin usurpare ‘seize for use.’
coup d’état a sudden, violent, and illegal seizure of power from a government:
It worked for Fidel Castro but will it work for B.O.???

re #41: “I would rather you be hot or cold, If ye be “lukewarm, Iwill spew you out of MY mouth!”
Nice of you to admit that a man who supports the murder of babies, (even when they are trying to crawl away), is who you support because he resembles your words, character, and actions.
JEHOVAH GOD is NOT smiling on you! TRUST me, or TRUST HIM, HE tells you that much, IF you would ever LISTEN to HIM, instead of your false idol O’Bama.
Or is it that your false idol is in fact YOU?
How about explaining to everyone here, (since you will not to me), why it is “profiling”, to say someone is black, when they have committed a crime or done wrong, but saying they are black, when it is a good thing, (like the first black Prez), is NOT profiling, but is TRUMPETED?
Or that blacks are “people of color”, when black is actually, the absence of color?
Before I am labelled a “racist”, two men attacked a family in Indianapolis last night, and are on the loose. The public was asked to help locate the “two men” because one of the victims has died. Their description was, two large males wearing”hoodies”, in their twenties.
Turns out they are black! Can’t mention that though, as it might appear “racist”. Better that they remain on the loose to kill more people, than to actually DESCRIBE the thugs!
Mark my words, under O’Bama, we will be in for a lot more of this same thing.
Well, after the “reparation” hearings and bills coming up. Oh, and after the Statehood for Washington, D.C. floor votes.
Get ready for Sen/Rev’s Je$$e and $harpton!

We’d best not forget Old Testament history. God brought, or allowed to have, other leaders and nations against His chosen people when they were disobedient. Would you say this nation has been disobedient when we have thrown God out of schools and public places? Now look around you and see how much of Christmas has been tossed out. Black Lion, re #45 - you belie your post in 41 because the One is God, not a man. We do not hail a man, we hail God. I cringed tonight at the headlines: Obama, The Chosen One - and - In Obama We Trust. This is blasphemy and Christians who participate in it will feel the discipline that God issues to chastise those whom he loves.
And regarding your statement that God does not have any concern over the kings or governmentst that we have now on earth. He most certainly does. All through scripture we are admonished as nations to honor God. All through scripture the Lord tells us that HE establishes kings and governments. We are even told that we are to obey the authorities because God commands it. God did not create this wonderul place and then just step back to ignore it and leave it to man to deal with. God has us and His earth in His right hand.
I am focused on the hearafter as well. But those who buy into Obama’s promises and “save the world” blasphemy are most certainly focused on a eutopia here on earth. Obama is nothing special. He is just a man like anyone else. He just happened to have flowery language and millions of promises to take care of everyone - promises he cannot keep - and so he won a popularity contest. But he is nothing. Christians would do well to remember that.
Just one more thing - if you are a Christian, then examine your heart and read the scriptures and then get back to me and try to tell me that God does not hold accountable those who support humans killing little children whether they are born or not. Remember, Christ said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” and again, “Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name, welcomes me.”(Matt 18:5) and again, “If anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” (Math 18:6)
The Christian has a huge responsibility toward children, both the born and the unborn and if a Christian supports a man like Obama who has allowed babies to die after a botched abortion or supports the killing of babies in the womb, it is better that they have a millstone about their neck to be drowned in the depths. That may sound harsh, but God does not put up with His people killing the innocent. He never has and He never will.

Now don’t forget the Donks have taught us the last six years how to be “patriotic” … you work to undermine the political party in power even if it undermines your country and you dissent, dissent, dissent even if you have to lie to make it stick. We can do without the lying part when we dissent, dissent, dissent and I’m sure we’ll find creative ways to undermine the political party in power without undermining the country … that is if we aren’t thrown into some kind of labor camp by his Civilian National Defense Force.
Do not despair, this Donk victory is temporary at best. There are three scenarios which could occur the next four years (and there certainly could be more scenarios). The first is Obama becomes a “present” President. That is, he does nothing that could harm his re-election chances and just coasts. At one level this could be good since he won’t do anything stupid that could impact the natural economic recovery that is sure to happen. Combined with a do-nothing Congress, we may find a comparative level of prosperity that we had enjoyed the first six years under President Bush until the Democrats took control of Congress in 2006 and turned a blind eye to the growing Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac meltdown.
The second scenario is Obambi and the Democrat Congress get really aggressive and try to impose their socialist agenda from gay marriage to the nation’s economy to nationalized healthcare to projecting an image of weakness and indecisiveness to our enemies abroad. If a significant number of swing voters are sickened by this kind of “change”, particularly if the country slides into a deeper recesssion or depression, Democrats will be held totally accountable despite their continued attempt to blame-Bush for their own incompetence and miscalculations. Hopefully, by that time, the lamestream media will have lost even more credibility and won’t be in a position to carry either Obambi’s water or that of Congressional Democrats.
Now there is a third scenario whereby everything Obambi and the Democrats do comes up smelling like roses and rainbows, thereby ushering in their socialist utopia where we all get paid a $249,999 a year and messiah helps pay for the gas in our cars, our home mortgages, all healthcare expenses and our retirement accounts. Just like what we already have in the great Peoples Republik of Illinois after nearly eight years of absolutely total Democratic control at the state level …
What’s that? Oh, scratch the last part, Illinois is no utopia and our taxes keep going up while Illinois companies keep moving to other states.
BTW, it won’t be hard to document Oblahblah’s lies as President, starting with his soon-to-be-lie about not further taxing those of us making under $250,000/year. I give that one less than four months after his inauguration.
Come January, Scott needs to start a running tally board which plainly documents each of Oblahblah’s broken promises and lies. After all, messiah promised to be a different kind of politician for “change”.
So, in the next four years let’s keep a close eye on if Oblahblah’s accomplishments as Messiah of the United States matches his arrogance and mouth.

To myself
As I saw the numerous “first time voters,” I am not surprised at tonight’s outcome. One voter, who could barely speak English was so excited at his vote. Was a citizen? I somewhat doubt it, but heck, nobody checks, nor cares anymore.
Kids, who have no more an idea about what makes a responsible citizens were voting likely because their special-ed style high school civics teachers told them to do such.
So where do we go from here. Not sure, but America is in BIG trouble, much bigger than Clintonian government dumped on us over 8 years ago.
With the8 foot high bullet proof glass covering his lofty speaking body ( with Oprah looking on and God knows who else) we now have a president who will not unite, for he is not a healer, but a divider. We have a VP who is crazier than a hoot owl and a presidential staff who will be sorrounded by terrorist who will make the dictatorship’s of the western hemisphere look like Sheri Lewis’s puppets.
So I will now go away and off to bed. I just got a call from someone who told me a dear friend just died. I can’t think of the terror we are facing with the sorrow in my heart.

Dear All,
Isn’t it inspiring to see democracy in action?
Young voters, old voters, black, white, all lining up for hours to cast their ballot?
And what a convincing win. Man. Good stuff.
Love always,
Ligor!

I guess we have to cede the election to the American idol.
George Soros and assorted foreign contributors have realized a return on their investment.
The shining city on the hill has been reduced to the rubble of a third-world nation where citizens will have their hands out, and mediocrity (or less) will be the measure of excellence.
America will have an ambitious Machiavellian tyro at the top and a sidekick who serves as a court jester.
I salute Obama just as graciously as he did Hillary and McCain. “That one” is both a puppet and a punk.
Our nation deserved a hero, not a zero.

Yes, it inspired you so much, you have found two new ways to spell your troll name.
BOTH different than you used to spell it. Must be the drugs. I am sure you are happy to know two more State will now only slap your wrist for smoking dope.
Two more States have refused to do anything to stop abortion on demand, and it is a close vote on the sanctity of marriage, (Prop 8), in California. That one may be the “straw” for GOD!
I think we are beginning to see why America is not mentioned in the book of Revelation. “We” do NOT make it that far!
Sad, but GOD is STILL calling the shots, and we KNOW we win in the end!

onlineanalyst re#59: Soros and the ones who put up the bucks for O’Bama sould NOT count their chickens before they come home to roost, just yet.
I do NOT believe O’Bama is “the one” to HONOR his benefactors, rather, I see him as “the one” who will spit in their eye!
Won’t THAT be interesting if I am right?

Here in Collie-foh-nyah, my vote hasn’t counted since 1992 (the first election in which I met the age requirement). Either the opposing candidate, from who I voted for, won the election before the polls closed in the Mountain time zone, or ballot initiatives were over-turned by judges who used their gavels to bust up ballot boxes. But I still do my civic duty each time I’m called upon to do so. I firmly believe too much has been sacrificed by the heroic men and women in the uniform of the United States military for me to do any less.
It looks like Obama has won. The only solace I have at this point is the strong belief that Obama will be a one-term president, and follow in the footsteps of Jimmy Carter. In four years’ time, what transpires from Jan. 20th, 2009 through Election Day 2010, with a Democrat in the White House and Democrats holding commanding majorities in the House and Senate can only be laid at the feet of the Democrat Party. The nano-second long attention spans that liberal indoctrination camps (a.k.a. public schools) have fostered for the last 40-someodd years will only tolerate “It’s all Bush’s fault.” for only so long before it’s realized the monumental mistake that befell us this 4th day of November, 2008.
But when will this realization occur? Will it be when it’s found out that Obama will not be buying the fuel for their cars, when Obama will not be paying off their mortgages, or giving them a free ride to the university of their choice, or when our national health care system gets so bad that Canadians will actually stay home and wait the 6 months for their hip replacement surgeries? Or will it be, as I fear, when terrorist attacks re-visit our shores and/or our assets (embassies, bases, etc.) around the world and go unanswered/unpunished, ala President Clinton?
Or will this realization ever occur? Michigan keeps electing Democrats despite the utter malaise that the state has been going through for decades with higher taxes forcing businesses to evacuate, among other issues (if ever there is an example of wealth redistribution not working, look no further). One can only imagine the campaign slogans for Democrats seeking re-election in Michigan, “Re-elect me, and it’ll get better…this time for sure”.
We’ve de-evolved. At one time, Americanism was synonymous with rugged individualism, making your own way, doing for yourself and doing for others in need, confronting an obstacle, taking it on and eventually (even if the first attempts didn’t work out) conquering it, learning and growing from the experience to face the next test, then passing that knowledge onto the next generation. Now our society has become one where individualism is frowned upon, you’re a part of some sort of socio-economic group, and you will like it that way, and if you don’t, you will learn to. Ruggedness is passé, too brusque, not politically correct. And as for obstacles, why, we don’t need that sort of thing. Life is not supposed to be a challenge, it’s supposed to be easy and fun, just like all family problems can be solved in 26 1/2 minutes on a TV sit-com. Challenges are to be swept out of the way by a government program. Needs and wants are to be met by your neighbor’s hard work, and since thinking and doing for yourself is difficult you shouldn’t have to do it. Just sit back and watch your Constitutionally-guaranteed cable, on your Constitutionally-guaranteed 50″ flat screen plasma TV, while lounging on the sofa in your Constitutionally-guaranteed townhouse, and everything will be taken care of for you.

Well we can atleast say that Global Warming is over. The polar bears were miraculously saved last night and the population is doubled. In one night!
Obamessiah has the whole world cheering. We have Al Queida ( how do you spell it, it hasn’t been in the news in so long I forgot, we have Iran. We have France. We have Korea. We have Canada. OMG we are popular again. Palestinians are proudly wearing their $2500 Obama Nation Shirts.
CC: recover suffering… yes we have.

If we only had an extra 75 million, MCCain/Palin too might have had ads everywhere; from facebook to infomercials. It’s good to see the liberals embracing materialism. I just wish they wouldn’t embrace my material.
On a serious note, Pray harder these next few months for our troops. They have now been abandoned by 52.3% of Americans.

I think differently. I think that congress will repeal the term limits for Presidents and Obama will be here indefinatley.

LCRM Re#63: I hope but doubt Obama will trouble this nation for only one term. As you pointed out, “Michigan keeps electing Democrats despite the utter malaise that the state has been going through for decades …”
As a Michigander I’ve seen the Democrat Party get stronger as our state economy gets weaker, a snowball effect caused at least in large part because workers and producers have been leaving the state for places which, until now, were less hostile to business.
Now that the majority of voters (many of them “Americans”) have authorized the national adoption and expansion of those policies which ruined Michigan, another aspect of this variation on the “Roe Effect¹” will come to the fore as more and more people find themselves dependent on Government for their survival. The obvious comparisons to FDR and his pal “Uncle Joe” Stalin are hardly worth mentioning. A people kept impoverished and dependent with no place of escape are a reliable source of power. Ask any plantation owner.
¹ - Liberals murdering their offspring, now expanded to their destroying productivity.

Take heart my pretties:
Jeremiah 17:5 “This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, and whose heart turns away from the Lord. He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
And that is what it is all about dear ones - bearing fruit. No matter how many mouths we feed or backs we cloth or hands we cross with money, if we are not spreading the gospel and telling people the salvation in Christ and the ‘hope and change’ of the Savior, we are simply helping to send to hell, well-fed and well-dressed people. So stand tall and face today with Book in hand and your defense on your lips and praise God that He is on His throne and knows EXACTLY what he is doing!
I love you guys.

Thanks, I feel better already.
Not sure how many Congressional seats are still in play, but as it looks now, the filibuster is still viable. That is, of course, until *shudder* Vice-President Joe Biden discovers in Article I that it is the role of the VP to declare the filibuster un-Constitutional.
How far we’ve fallen when one of our silver linings to [bitterly] cling to is someone standing and reading out of the D.C.-area phonebook during a session of Congress.
