(2002-12-05) — Presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry, D-MA, said he has a plan to provide security for every American.
Over the weekend, Sen. Kerry said Americans are concerned about “job security, income security, retirement security, health security, education security, physical, personal security and of course national security.”
Sen. Kerry said he can speak from experience on all these issues, and knows how to provide for all of those needs.
“As an incumbent Senator, I’ve got job security, income security, health security and everything else,” he said. “I propose to increase the size of Congress to include everyone who can’t get a real job. That way, these poor folks would be taken care of, and America would be more democratic.”
