LEAKED: Hillary’s Concession Speech, Endorsement

(2008-06-04) — A draft copy of Sen. Hillary Clinton’s planned concession speech leaked this morning after the candidate inadvertently emailed it to her entire “buddy list” and both copies then fell into the hands of the news media.

In the speech, Sen. Clinton attempts to lay the groundwork for Democrat unity, based on what she calls “a kind of unshakable bond that can only be sustained by proper treatment of one’s defeated adversaries.”

Here are some excerpts from the speech which Sen. Clinton is expected to deliver this weekend.

“No matter the outcome of the presidential race this November, the year 2008 is a watershed for Democrats. For the first time in the history of either party, a woman selflessly withdrew from a race she was winning to lend a merciful, helping hand to a young African-American in his time of need.”

“We have both broken down barriers, Sen. Obama and I, in this historic race. However, since he is only half black, but I am all woman, it goes without saying that my accomplishment in nearly winning is the greater civil rights triumph, mathematically speaking.”

“I will campaign vigorously for the party’s nominee, whoever that may be. I do it out of a sense of noblesse oblige — my nobility obligates me. I hope Sen. Obama sees my endorsement, and pledge of delegates, as a hand up, not a hand out.”

“If Barack Obama becomes the next president of the United States, let it never be said that he won only because he’s black, but rather that he won because a gracious white woman sacrificed her own ambitions for the good of humanity.”

“In closing, I want to personally address Sen. Obama by paraphrasing President John F. Kennedy, who, coincidentally, was assassinated like his brother Robert was: Sen. Obama, ask not what Hillary Clinton can do for you. Ask what you can do for the woman who was almost the first female president of the United States.”

    etc. would have to include his feet. If there is anything to the “rumor” Rush has talked about, he may find a nail through them.

    It might account for her not conceding. If she or someone on her team listens to Rush, he advised, If she has such a video about Michelle, she shouldn’t release it now, but wait until late in the general election race and then drop it like a bomb, ending his career. (not his exact words, but pretty close.)

    The only help would be a slap in the face OR to hear that HillBilly, Inc. had conceded the DNC nomination to B.O.

    Interestingly enough MRW,Inc. yesterday, linked to a 1943 Popeye cartoon movie; it ended with Popeye beating the snot out of Hitler and as Hitler grunted his last breaths he said, “BBBbbbb. OOOoooo. I took it as sort of a prophetic early endorsement of the DNC’s presumptive nominee.

    JCM #14 - Do as you wish……personally I don’t have the necessaries to go up against God.

    I’m one of those weirdos who believe that The Bible is the Word of God and when I read:

    “Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.

    Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.” (Rom. 13: 1,2)

    To me that means that My President, George W. Bush is where he is, because God put him there.

    My duty, as I see it, is to respect both him and the office he holds. I pray daily for him. It’s true there are many of his actions (and non-actions) that I disagree with - strongly. But I will never be disloyal nor disparage him - the libbers are doing a good enough job at that and they don’t need my assistance.

    The fact that in over seven years there’s been no repeat of 9/11/01 is no accident or ‘bit of luck’ In spite of Islam-o-fascists attempts, aided by anti-American moles left over from the Clinton years.

    He’s my President - a disappointment in many ways (Scooter, Rumsfeld and BP agents under the bus; bad on illegal aliens and a sealed border) but with all his warts I have a few myself. His good outweighs his shortcomings and yes, I’d vote for him again (if it were possible) over McCain.

    I was sure that sHrillary would be out making one last offer of the VP spot to BO these past few days. I suspect someone overpowered her and seized her testicle lockbox. The fact that BO is actually the democrat nominee says a lot about our fellow Americans, how incredibly naive and without knowledge the masses must be. Our best hope is that Christ will return and commence to straightening out the mess we have made over the past 2000 years. I agree Fred, the time is near.
    I’ve been busy the past couple of weeks, my youngest daughter graduated HS and is now preparing to work at a Christian camp in Montana for the summer. She quit her job working 25- 30 hours per week @ $9.75/hr to work three months at the camp for $1000. She never asked me my opinion, she made the decision herself. I am pleased with her choice, and hope she is a blessing to the folks there.
    A week or so ago I saw something about Bloomberg being McCain’s VP, are they really wanting to keep the conservatives home that badly? Not a good choice John, please don’t even go there!

    Under an executive order expected to be announced today, the police chief will have the authority to designate “Neighborhood Safety Zones.” At least six officers will man cordons around those zones and demand identification from people coming in and out of them. Anyone who doesn’t live there, work there or have “legitimate reason” to be there will be sent away or face arrest, documents obtained by The Examiner show.

    When it comes to being a bona fide liar, Obamessiah is no chump. From Powerline:

    Earlier this year, three-fourths of the Senate voted in favor of a resoution designating the Iranian National Guard as a terrorist organization. Among those who voted for the resolution were Hillary Clinton, Richard Durbin, Harry Reid, and Chuck Schumer. Obama voted against it.

    Yesterday, however, Obama told the AIPAC convention that the Iranian National Guard is, in fact, a terrorist organization. He attempted to explain his recent vote to the contrary by claiming that the resolution contained language about military action. But this is false (i.e. A LIE), and transparently so — if it had contained such language Clinton, Durbin, Reid, and Schumer would have opposed it.

    Obamessiah’s lying naivete will get a lot of innocent Americans killed in the not too distant future if his fawning cult isn’t derailed. Ironically, the Big Lie is Obamessiah had a different view of the Iraq War than President Bush when he was running for Senator. He actually said in 2004 that his view of the Iraq War wasn’t too different from President Bush’s.

    Obama was conveniently anti-war when running for office in the People’s Republic of Illinois, but then flip-flopped when it was politically expedient to his cause of getting elected to the U.S. Senate.     Speaking of invasions

    I’d like to at least make mention of the 64th anniversary of the invasion of mainland Europe by America & her allies - a day in which the Allied forces suffered a higher number of casualties than we have had so far in the entire Iraq war … including the First Gulf War.

    RP #44 - Thank you! You are the first I’ve heard mention D-Day. Sixty four years is a long time to some, but barely a blip in history. That day was the start of a real change in America - people never were so proud of their country. anyone who voiced any anti-American comments could rely on a quick fist in their face.     I too have read the “Left Behind” series. It’s an interesting fiction, based on totally un-Scriptural premisses. Ezek. 13 covers what God’s position is on preachers who teach a “fly-away” doctrine.

    But non-the-less its a fun : what if. ?? proposition.

    Postings to “The american Thinker” and they are right. Obama IS the fictional Nicolae Carpathia.

    It’s almost as if Obama read the “Left Behind” series and adjusted himself to mimic the fictional character.

    Has anyone read any of the Left Behind series of books? The things that scares me about Obama are the similarities between him and Nicolae Carpathia.
