Jimmy Carter in Peace Talks with Hillary, Obama

by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 67 Comments · · Print This Story Print This Story

(2008-04-23) — In the wake of Sen. Hillary Clinton’s primary victory in Pennsylvania Tuesday, Nobel laureate Jimmy Carter today announced he would interrupt his work on the Gaza Strip branch of the Carter Library to meet with Mrs. Clinton and rival Sen. Barack Obama to negotiate a cease fire in the battle that threatens to destroy the Democrat party.

The former U.S. president, fresh off one-party talks with the exiled leader of Hamas during which Mr. Carter succeeded in securing a hug from the terror group leader, said he’ll aim to get Sen. Clinton to halt her attacks on Sen. Obama in exchange for a pledge from Sen. Obama to disown his pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and his indicted real estate partner, Tony Rezko, as well as his colleague, terror group founder William Ayers, and his maternal grandmother, “who is a typical white person.”

“I believe you can address any problem through talking,” said Mr. Carter, “as long as you’re willing to set aside what you know about people’s motives, their values, their goals and their historical patterns of behavior. I envision our party convention as a win-win — with two Democrat nominees, walking side by side, in peace and mutual respect — and I think to myself, what a wonderful world.”

    Jimmy Carter, traitor.
President Bush has a Mid East trip planned to attempt to honestly find a path to peace, and that snivillian lil rooster inhaler runs over to apply oral appreciation to Hamas’s posterior.
    Nice.

Dare we hope for peace in our time among politicians of any stripe? Should work out about as well as the dozens of ME peace arrangements which, so far, haven’t really gone all that well.
Right after signing they have one of those “V8″ moments, smack thier foreheads and declare…”that’s right, I HATE those folks” and then they proceed with the bloodshed.
So it will be in this case as well.

    Funny piece Scott!

Well, we’ve had co-Presidents before, if Jimmy is successful maybe it will be a joint ticket with the Rev. Jackson and Al Gore as co-VP’s. With a little help maybe we all can “just get along”. It would be a step to where maybe every American citizen could have a spot in the Presidency. We would all have our equal say and get our federal paychecks and health plan, just think how much we could do with millions of “ambassadors” jetting all around the world getting other people to “get along” too. I am going to get a head start on the rest of my countrymen and leave for Iraq to begin negotiations with Al- Sadr as soon as I can arrange transportation on Air Force One or Two, if Jimmy can do it, you can do it too. And better!

I rear-ended a car this morning on the way to work.

There we were pulled over alongside the road and slowly the other driver got out of his car and …

Well I could NOT believe it . . . the guy was a DWARF! He stormed back to my car, looked up at me, and said, “I AM NOT HAPPY!”

So I looked down at him and replied, “Well, which one are you then?”

Why can’t he just go back to building houses for Habitat? There is honor in that kind of work. I’m thinking that we have elected some Presidents at too young of an age, but then I think of Reagan, he was really good at being retired, didn’t run around trying to “be someone”.

The answer to this riddle is what Carter is, was and will continue to be.

Also true of every CINO who tries at pretending to be a Christian.

When asked this riddle, 80% of kindergarten kids got the answer, compared to 17% of Stanford University seniors.
