Gov. Paterson Admits to Dope, Coke, Grassy Knoll Shots

by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 72 Comments · · Print This Story Print This Story

(2008-03-25) — New York Gov. David Paterson, who replaced disgraced former Gov. Eliot Spitzer this month, today added to his previous revelations of marital infidelity, and marijuana and cocaine use, by claiming that he has also sniffed glue, tagged subway cars with graffiti, bet on dog fights, driven with his seatbelt unbuckled while talking on a cell phone and fired several shots from the grassy knoll on Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963.

At his regular daily confessional news conference, Gov. Paterson played down the significance of his past indiscretions, noting that he’s like many New Yorkers who have experimented with everything from “huffing freon to plotting an assassination at the age of nine.”

“I haven’t tried any of that stuff since the 1970s,” said Gov. Paterson, “with the exception of violating my marriage covenant, of course. But the glue, the dogs, the graffiti, the risky driving, the lying-in-wait for the motorcade…that’s all behind me now.”

One of my former employers had a whole list of rules to live by while operating a company vehicle. I was in training for four weeks and during that time the managers and supervisors in charge of my training had either broken every rule or instructed me to violate the rules. I was thinking that I was not going to like the job because of a couple of the rules, no talking on cell phone while driving, seatbelt usage, always pull the keys when not in vehicle. It was “good” for me to have such good superiors there to help me relax and do things my own way. I survived it all, no incidents….found other reasons to dislike the job! During my stay there an employee in another state drove off the highway and hit a tree, the wannabe truck layed over on it’s side and was pretty much toast. We got a safety letter with photos and telling us that the driver was not seriously injured because he was wearing his seatbelt. All well and good by me, however, the tone of the bulletin was such that one almost got the impression that safe operation of the vehicle was of no importance, only proper seatbelt usage mattered!I know, accidents happen and it is smart to be as safe as you can be. But I for one resent a do-gooder bunch of politicians fussing over how I care for myself. That ain’t their role, now protecting me from jihadists and stuff like that is perfectly legitimate.

LAW AND ORDER SVU Is running another propaganda film. This one is about embryonic stem cell research being the only course of research to find a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.

This doo-doo has been medically debunked. On the program they dissed President Bush and his killing the government funded embryonic research, thereby condemning millions of persons with Parkinson’s disease to horrible deaths.

As Rush pointed out, if there was any possible value, even so much as one single instance of progress, private investors would be fighting each other to fund this research.

The last that I read about it the successes have been with mature adult stem cells. One I read about they used the patient’s own stem cells from his bone marrow, with positive results.

So detective stories are now the route to stir emotions and hopefully influence political action to reinstate government funding.

The media stinks even worse than I thought and I thought (knew) the odoriferous aroma of a pile of rotting fish remains would be sweetness itself, by comparison.

The agenda is so wide spread that if there is such a thing as a vast conspiracy, it is a vast, wrong-wing conspiracy. The average person at this point in history simply does not have the required intelligence to see what they are being fed. #39 -Go figure, bya said something that makes actual sense. Idiot bankers allowed themselves to be bullied by Congress into making bad loans - so now they’re crying and begging the Government for a bailout. The borrowers are crying and begging for the Government to rescue them from their poor judgment (but the”deal” was made to be so enticing, they just couldn’t resist)

As idiotic as it was is it perhaps even more idiotic for people to build houses on costal/gulf beaches and then when the seawall is eroded away, they are crying and begging for a Government bailout. The Corp of Engineers have to come and rebuild the seawall, so it can erode away again.

These sundry idiots have in common their liberal belief that they are owed some grand largesse out of taxpayer funds.

As Rush pointed out the economy is self adjusting and needs no help from liberals, additionally there’s the fact that there is no Constitutional authority for any such “bailouts”.

This November there will be voting to determine who stands the best chance of screwing up the Country the least.

The bright side is that in the history books, Jimmy Carter won’t look nearly as sorry as he does now.

Yes, and I have to now confess that in addition to the recreational pharmacology of my youth, I am the real DC sniper. Malvo and Muhammed are innocent. I shot all those people just to see the looks on their faces. Mr. Paterson is a true inspiration to us all in the Moody Loners With Handguns Club when it comes to telling all about our checkered pasts.

I could add a semi-serious note like who really cares, outside the New York taxpayers? They get the government they deserve, and the best one money can buy. (Think about the latter part of that remark.)

An old saying came to mind the other day, as I was fighting against seriously-medical chemo to keep up with the latest news: “I used to be disgusted; now I’m just amused.”

I generally manage a post about every other week at United Possums International. No need for all three of my constant readers to rush over there, though. If the Dems ever pause for breath, I may be able to finalize my thoughts about rabid wolverines tearing at each other’s flesh. Meanwhile, they’re moving too fast for my typically white mind.

Gov. Paterson, you’re right. Confession is good for the soul. You need to release David Berkowitz immediately; I shot all those young people because Sam told me to. Yoko Ono can also positively identify me as John’s shooter if you get me under the right kind of lighting at a line-up.

And, most shamefully of all, I was the person who sold Bernhard Goetz the handgun he used to shoot those four innocent panhandlers on the subway some years ago. Being an ignorant, inbred hillbilly-a typical white person in some presidential candidate’s buzzword lexicon-I had no regard for laws oppressing and restricting the rights of others.

Despite having never fooled around with anyone outside my serial marriages, especially at taxpayer expense, I confess to being a citizen of AmeriKKKa. I was the sniper who fired at Hillary in Bosnia, and I’m lucky to still be here and able to post at ScrappleFace. Those 4,000 soldiers guarding that welcome ceremony that never happened on the surely-doctored videotapes were hot when I shot up that motorcade. I’m sure the incident is seared indelibly in her mind, as Christmas in Cambodia lingers in John Kerry’s consciousness. I apologize for causing such great psychological harm. (I also trained those NVA who shot up Kerry’s swift boat, but that was a long time ago, and the statute of limitations on treason has probably expired.)

Faddah Wright, forgive me, for I have sinned. I thought everyone was equal. Quoting the little-known songster Roy Harper: “Ah, what a young fool I am!”

G-d— America! (Is this the new phrase? I want to stay hip, despite my age.)

Thanks. I feel better now, having gotten that off my conscience.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but the blood of Christ cleanseth from all sin. As a believer in Christ, having experienced the forgiveness of sin, I can tell you all of my past sins, I can tell you of present sin, but all of it would be to my shame and no one would be edified in the least. Jesus has taken my sin and shame and I no longer carry around a load of guilt. I say all of this to try to understand what it must be like to be in the position of governor, senator, etc. and be carrying around loads of guilt. I suppose it may be a hard thing, but I really can’t relate to this at all. What a difference a relationship with Jesus Christ, the son of God makes! Maybe more people ought to get to know him…

  • 57 JamesonLewis3rd // Mar 27, 2008 at 6:32 am

Actually, I haven’t seen or heard any of these morally bankrupt politicians display an iota of “guilt” let alone “loads of” it. I’ve seen and heard a lot of “loads” but of a different commodity.

If they, in fact, felt any “guilt” whatsoever, the suggestion that they seek Christ would be moot, in my opinion.
