(2007-11-21) — President George Bush told ABC News anchor Charlie Gibson this week that Sen. Hillary Clinton’s White House and Senate experience make her the Democrat candidate best prepared to face the Republican presidential nominee in 2008.
“In the White House, First Lady Clinton worked side-by-side with Vice President Al Gore, who I defeated in 2000,” said Mr. Bush, “In the Senate, she served alongside John Kerry and John Edwards, who I defeated in 2004. No one else in the race has such broad-ranging experience with what it means to be a Democrat presidential candidate in the 21st century.”
The president noted that “the very fact that Sen. Clinton is now debating with rookie Sen. Barack Obama over who has more experience serving in an executive position, which neither senator has ever done, further demonstrates that among Democrats she’s seasoned, prime beef. As my friends in the ranching business say, ‘It’s what’s for dinner’.”

Closed captioning for conservatives: Hillary Clinton
For die-hard right wingers who want to know more about last week’s Democratic debate in Las Vegas, but can’t stomach all the bleeding-heart, tax-raising, baby-killing, queer-for-clones anti-Americanism, 23/6 is pleased to provide our closed captioning service for conservatives.
Today: Hillary Clinton. Turn down your volume and enjoy.

About posting…
I’ve had problems for several weeks with the revised system. Found that my browser, upon attempting to submit, will ask if I want to “save these settings for this site”. If I answer “no” then the post does not “go up” and I sometimes have to log in again. But, if I tell it “yes” to save, then all works well as you see by this having appeared. Not a major problem; just something of which to be aware.
(using Netscape on a Mac).

I know that I am easily confused, but I am really confused by, “Actually, That was NOT mockery, that was truthful! It was the last straw for me, in my association with Conservatives there.” What was the last straw, that they were prescient? That they believed that flouridation of the public water was a communist mind control plot? If so, why was that the last straw? With conservatives where? Could you please amplify?
Thank you for reading my long, first post. You asked for time, and I did agreed. My second post was an amplification of the first post, not a rebuttal to your reply, as you hadn’t replied yet.
Where, in my second post did I deny the premise of my first post? I’ve reread both several times and I don’t see it, but then again I’m not very smart so I’m probably just missing it.

Isn’t eight years of the Clinton, Ink co-presidency enough? Can America afford another four or eight years like those?
Could we get the count up the number of elitist, nose-in-the-air, “Bertha Better-than-you”, Liberal, “The sky is falling” Socialist promoters of “Manmade” global warming, who currently have their “below projected water depth property” on the market.
I think, if they really believed what they preach, they would be buying up properties in the Colorado Rockies. The certainly would not want to keep their oceanfront homes, especially since they have seen the movie “Waterworld” and must think it’s a documentary, brought back from the future by a time traveler. Perhaps someone should inform them that #1. There is no such thing as time travel, and #2. It’s really a fictional movie (like Algore’s Academy Award winning, fictional movie).

! Thessalonians 5:18
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
Not just a day to give thanks for the things we like, the blessings we enjoy, but for every thing that God allows us to experience in this life. The wil of Christ Jesus concerning you may be a very tough road, but it is not without purpose.
As I read Michelle Malkinin’s “An Army of Angels” piece I thought of the above verse, and realized that their situation is beyond anything anyone could comprehend, and that circumstances such as these more than likely would turn a person extremely bitter and hateful, many would blame God and never find it within themselves to be thankful for anything.
I guess when it comes down to it, the majority of the people here in America have it better than they will ever realize. And yet I wonder how many of the blessed people are giving thanks. I mean really giving thanks, from their heart and not just out of their head.
Today as you gather with your families I pray that a true spirit of thanksgiving will sweep over you and your loved ones, and if you are not fortunate enough to be together with family at this time, may your day be a blssed time of giving thanks from your heart.
Thank you for taking time to read this post, and THANK GOD for Scott and Scrappleface!

Back on topic - Where is it written that all experience is good experience ?
a person with no experience can only become experienced by doing, and if they do well they are praised. If not, they are jeered, or they simply learn from their mistakes and the experience teaches them how to succeed.
Or they deny their failure and tell everyone else that they “just don’t get it”.

” Who is really looking out for America? ” I just finished watching, for the first time, a part of the movie “Casualties Of War”. I say “part of” because it was the most sickening example of Communist Propaganda that I’ve ever seen. No wonder our soldiers returning from Viet Nam were spat upon. If I had been fed a diet like that, I would have been in the front row to join in the spitting.
Michael J. Fox deserves an Oscar for his role in aiding and abetting the enemy. Life in prison would be far too lenient a punishment. Every actor and actress in the movie should have been tried before a military tribunal and sentenced accordingly. (Including those who financed it, produced it, directed it or was in the slightest way involved with it.) A firing squad is the only thing I can think about that would be fitting to “let the punishment fit the crime”.
If you haven’t seen it, do not attempt viewing the movie without a handy barf bag.
Now we have “Redacted” This sounds a lot like an updated version of the Michael J. Fox Communist, brainwashing propaganda movie : “Casualties Of War” about the Viet Nam horrors. More propaganda - utter maggot gagging garbage!
“Who is really looking out for America?” It’s certainly not the anti-war Communists in Holllywood (Paging Sen. McCarthy - Why didn’t you do a thorough job while you were at it? Where is your counterpart of today when he’s needed?)
Looking out for America is Scott Ott, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Bill O’Riley, Michelle Malkin, Sean Hannity and you and me, along with all conservatives who are willing to sign a new updated Declaration Of Independence. The Revolutionary and Civil War rolled into one.
Since Liberals are very hard to convert: Instead of a sword, it will be rifles and pistols - The Revolutionary and Civil War rolled into one, but instead of England and The South it will be against liberal family members and liberal neighbors. The only bright spot is with their anti-gun stance not all that many own any guns. Since the term “Christian Democrat” is an oxymoron, it will end up being Christians and Jews against the Socialists - aka Communists.
“Matt. 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matt. 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matt. 10:36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
Matt. 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.”

Fred - I heard a fella say one time, “Stupid is as stupid does.” It is a crime for so many actors/actesses, and citizens to be so stupid. But I believe the root cause is a rejection of God and/or the principles laid out in the Word of God. I believe that is where the root of understanding lies, not in a degree or even by endless education.Ever learning and never able to come to knowledge. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. The further a man (or woman) gets from God the less they understand, the less they know, and we see the end result.
Rather disheartening isn’t it ?

Despite economy, malls and stores jammed
Liberal media: Darn it! Even though this is the worst economy since the great depression, the American people are too stupid to take our word for it and are now jamming the malls and stores.
The economy under Jimmy Carter was far better despite double-digit inflation, double-digit loan rates, double-digit mortgage rate and 8% unemployment. Once again Bush gets lucky. I guess we haven’t done a good enough job of “talking down” the economy … yet.

IN THIS WORLD OF TROUBLED TIMES and fully aware that Joe McCarthy is no longer with us, it’s time to find Billy Batson with his magic word SHAZAM (Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury).
This is clearly a time that calls for “Captain Marvel”. Since only an imaginary Super Hero is qualified to deal with Algore’s imaginary crisis. Now that we’ve got, in addition to “manmade” global warming, the destruction of the Universe to contend with and save (how does one go about saving the Universe?) for future generations.
Prof. Krauss must be contacted. He and Algore can work together and save the Universe first, since it’s obviously more important than our one measly little planet. After the Universe crisis has been solved, Algore and Captain Marvel can be our new “Dynamic Duo” it will be the perfect partnership since they are virtually interchangable. Together they can call in Captain Marvel and the “Terrific Trio” will solve “manmade” global warming without our help or finances!
We can forget about the threat that mankind poses to the Earth: our activities may be shortening the life of the universe too. Parallel universe proof boosts time travel hopes and hopefully we can send the liberals back to where ever they originated.
