Report: Ahmadinejad Tasered at Columbia University

by Scott Ott · 54 Comments

(2007-09-24) — Columbia University promised a full investigation into charges of police brutality after today’s reported Tasering of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who had come to the Ivy League school to give the annual Adolph Hitler Memorial Peace and Tolerance Lecture.

Like a similar incident at the University of Florida last week, the stun-gun assault by police followed a lengthy anti-American rant by the alleged victim, and was immediately condemned by civil rights advocates.

According to eyewitnesses, Mr. Ahmadinejad was dragged from the room shouting: “Do not make to Tase myself, slang brother man.”

It was not immediately known whether the victim was legitimately attempting to exercise his freedom of speech or if, as one unnamed witness said, “he’s little more than a publicity hound and prankster who will do anything to get news coverage.”

It is reported that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was one of the “students” that overthrew the American Embassy and imprisoned American citizens on November 4, 1979. They were only released when Ayatolah Khomeni set them free on Ronald Reagan’s inaugural day January 20, 1981. 63 hostages were taken, and 52 were held the entire 444 days.

It seems like turnabout would be fair play. Let the Columbia University students rush the stage and take him captive so that he can stand trial for atrocities he has committed against US, Iraqi and Iranian citizens. He should serve one day for each day each hostage was held. He should serve his time in an Iraqi prison (ours are far too cushy for his kind). His time should be served sequentially. That would be approximately 72-77 years.

Lastly, for the duration of the sentence, he should be forced to wear the same uniforms the Philadelphia Eagles wore in yesterday’s game. No…that would probably violate some Geneva Convention rule on prisoner abuse.

So, how soon will the president of Columbia be fired for daring to insult this (slimey little punk) scion of freedom?! What’s up with that?! Is this a set up? Who is this Lee Bollinger(sp) guy anyway?!

This made me laugh a great deal at work just now. I read the headline and giggled to the point that a guy in the next cubicle looked to see what I was doing. To see that violent anti-Semite flopping about like a fish and dancing to the tune of a taser would be so very funny.

It’s a lot nicer than what his regime does to the oppressed Iranian people.

  • 9 Effeminem // Sep 24, 2007 at 2:35 pm

I dunno, it strikes me as extremely tacky and John-Kerryish to

    1) Invite a crazed dictator to give a speech
    2) Defend the “free exchange of ideas” (even though inviting him supports those ridiculous ideas implicitly)
    3) Notice that the public is outraged
    4) Switch sides and denounce your guest
    5) but still allow him to speak

It’s not like Columbia’s learned a lesson from this. I’d like to say “I’d expect a grown man to resist peer pressure” but I honestly don’t expect that any more.

Last night I watched the first episode of Ken Burns’ “The War” on PBS, and I can’t help but think how low our liberals have sunk when they invite Ahm-a-dhimmicrat to speak at an Ivy League university, and brag that they would have invited Hitler, too. Despicable…

Just Ranting #4 Good idea, problem is - it makes too much sense.

“There aren’t any homosexuals in Iran.” Well, of course there aren’t, the ones that were there have all been murdered via the headsman’s axe.

Perhaps The New York Times could “leak” classified information. “It is reported that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that after spending time with a Christian missionary Mahmoud has renounced Islam and is now a born again Christian. A Baptist who plans to return to Iran as a Missionary.”

I propose that the “leak” would be entirely within NYT responsible comittment to truth.

Americans are spoiled rotten. They call 911 and help comes. If the police even say offensive things people sue and cops are fired or prosecuted. Our soil has not been polluted by the foot of an invading army since the war of 1812. Our people are spoiled rotten.

If you want to know how spoiled just watch any press conference where the President is cross examined by reporters who have no respect for him let alone fear of him. In pre invasion Iraq people would have been hanged or worse if the government even thought they did not support Saddam.

Such things still happen in Syria, Iran, and any where our enemies have power. America is spoiled, but they will be spoiled in a new way if we are forced to withdraw before the enemy is defeated.

Their families will be spoiled and sacked by who ever has the fire power and the will to use it. The first people to be spoiled will be the liberals who now flaunt their amoral life styles. These are the very people the enemy have targeted in their societies and the people the enemy raves about in their news releases. Americans are spoiled in that the lights come on when the switch is flipped. They take for granted that everything they have from fast food to High Definition TV to the internet just is and expect it all to work without any effort on their part.

Even after rebuilding Iraq doesn’t have that assurance. We turn on the faucet and water flows. We spend billions each year on weight loss products because we have more food than sense to eat wisely. Only in America are poor people fat. Yes our nation is spoiled but the enemy wants to redefine that into suffering. We will get what we deserve if we do not stand up now and let the left know it.
Liberals are bound and determined to be the Captain on the Titanic.

Evil Triumphs when Good Men Do Nothing.

Well, I was simply horn-swaggled when I heard the Columbia president’s diatribe toward the diminuative Ahm-a-durn-nut-job. I was wondering if I was really listening to an episode of the Twilight Zone when I happened to catch a tiny article about the NY legislature and town council looking at defunding Columbia University. I guess they decided that tax money didn’t need to be going toward scholarships to this liberal university because this liberal university needs some lessons from Emily Post. Money has a funny way of changing liberals’ philosophies, don’t ya know?

Heh, if you want to see the cool baking project that Ms Rightwing, Ink and I have undertaken, just take a gander. I’m the cute blonde who is licking her fingers and Ms Rightwing, Ink is the sexy one sifting powdered sugar over the creation! :-)

  • 36 jcoxcollectibles // Sep 25, 2007 at 12:30 am

Columbia University President Lee Bollinger had an obligation to set the tone for AwkDinnerJacket’s visit, and I think Lee did a grand job of doing that. He was appauded may times, and I wish more people could hear this incredible speech. It was on the radio talk show “The Jerry Doyle Show” tonight. Perhaps they’ll play it again sometime, maybe Jerry Doyle will have it on his website, and maybe “Coast-to-Coast” will have it on their website.

    President Ahmadinejad,
    President Ahmadinejad,

I have a follow up question
    To your response there are
    “No Homosexuals” in Iran
Sir if there are “No Homosexuals” in Iran
how come Ive never seen you with a woman—ever?
in fact how come Ive never seen “any” Iranian leaders with woman-ever?

  • 39 mig // Sep 25, 2007 at 5:01 am

  • 40 mig // Sep 25, 2007 at 5:03 am

And as far as Bollinger goes, there is something fishy here. I can’t put my finger on it. But it doesn’t seem right. There was something superficial and staged about that speech. Time will tell.

Ah, back to media mentality. Man, I knew the Libs weren’t getting it.
The court martial of one of the accused soldiers, Spec. Jorge Sandoval Jr., is scheduled to begin in Baghdad on Wednesday. Also facing premeditated murder charges are Vela and Staff Sgt. Michael Hensley.

  • 42 Fred Sinclair // Sep 25, 2007 at 5:20 am

    # 38 INJUSTICE PREVAILS = Very good point! In fact, as you say, ” Ive never seen “any” Iranian leaders with woman–ever?”

They treat their dogs, horses and camels with more respect than they do women. The mere sight of a woman is so revolting and such a turn off that to keep their ugliness from poluting the scenery they force FORCE! women to cover their faceswith the hated burka.

I lived in a Muslim country (Libya) for 18 months (1961-1963) I wish someone had asked him for details on the Muslim teaching on how Mohammud is to be “born” when he comes back to earth? and how come if there are no homosexuals in Iran, the Muslim men wear the balooning baggy pants tied tightly at each ankle?

I know, and so does he but he won’t tell you. Also, why is it that Muslim men are forbidden to even touch a woman during their holy month of Ramadan?

(Ramadan |ˈräməˌdän; ˈraməˌdan| noun the ninth month of the Muslim year, during which strict fasting is observed from sunrise to sunset. ORIGIN from Arabic ramaḍān, from ramaḍa ‘be hot.’ The lunar reckoning of the Muslim calendar brings the fast eleven days earlier each year, eventually causing Ramadan to occur in any season; originally it was supposed to be in one of the hot months.)

Their fasting from food for the month of Ramadan is from dawn to dusk but the fasting from sex with a woman is 100% of the entire month.

I’m puzzled, though, that Ahmadinejad was not, after having had his say, taken into custody on 3,000 counts of suspicion of murder in the first degree.

Columbia University and CBS’ “60 Minutes” are giving Ahmadinejad added propaganda platforms. If either of these self-proclaimed bastions of free speech were truly interested in stimulating a debate on controversial issues, they would have invited a top Israeli leader, a Holocaust survivor and an Iranian dissident to debate Ahmadinejad face-to-face with no conditions. Instead, this wretched terrorist sponsor, human rights abuser and Holocaust denier will go largely unchallenged while he tries to portray himself as a reasonable leader open to peaceful dialogue.
