Hillary: Court Ruling Stabs Women in Back of Head

by Scott Ott · 68 Comments

(2007-04-19) — Yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling in Gonzales v. Carhart upholding the right of Congress and state legislatures to regulate abortion and, in particular, to ban partial-birth abortion, is “a blade to the back of the head of every woman in America,” according to Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY.

“I know I speak for my sisters across the nation,” said Sen. Clinton, “when I say that I feel like someone grabbed me by the ankles, and jammed a pair of scissors into the base of my skull and then just sucked my brains out. This is devastating to our freedoms and our sense of who we are as the largest minority group in America.”

Mrs. Clinton derided the justices who comprised the majority in the 5-4 ruling as “a gang of callous right-wingers who slaughtered the civil rights of women just as we are about to experience a new birth of freedom with the election of the first female president.”

“All that potential, all that hope is now tossed down the garbage chute,” she said, “and all because five selfish judges decided that their so-called ‘right to choose’ supersedes the life of the women’s movement. It’s despicable.”

    RE: #2~~
    Clarification~~

It’s not just the callous misanthropy of the “some women” I referred to in my comment. It’s the cold-blooded pursuit of lucre by the genocidal industry within which this satanic, debauched mayhem occurs-the flippant tossing aside of one’s humanity and self-respect for a fat bank account, a shiny car, a well-furnished house, a fancy boat.

How could anyone defend this barbaric murder? How is this any different than the prom girl and the trash can?

Jesus: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

But then with a liberal you’d get into a debate about the definition of the word “others”.

Hilary should have a talk with Dennis “the Menace” Kucinich. I’m sure he’d be happy to introduce Articles of Impeachment for Justices Roberts, Alito, Thomas, Scalia and even (especially!) Justice Kennedy, to supplement the ones he’s filing against Vice President Cheney. (Can’t go after Bush until Cheney’s gone …)

  • 10 Darthmeister // Apr 19, 2007 at 8:53 am

Harry Reid’s lying hypocrisy revealed … again. From The Volokh Conspiracy:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) was among those who denounced yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling upholding the Federal Partial Birth Abortion Act. Commenting on the decision, Reid said “A lot of us wish that Alito weren’t there and O’Connor were there,” indicating his desire that there has been a fifth vote to invalidate the statute, as Justice O’Connor had provided the fifth vote to invalidate Nebraska’s partial-birth abortion ban in Stenberg v. Carhart.

What is curious about Reid’s statement, as NPR and some news outlets have noted, is not Reid’s criticism of Alito — Reid opposed Alito’s confirmation — but the fact that Reid supported, and voted for, the federal statute upheld in yesterday’s decision! . . .

Typical liberal, always trying to play both sides of the issue. Political charlatans like Reid will never fall under the full weight of the lamestream media.

I am astounded at the reaction from the Democrat candidtates (I refuse to call them Democratic). Edwards, Obama, Hillary, etc. ~ all outraged at this ruling? I just hope that the people of America can read into this exactly what it is. Even most who accept abortion do not think that partial birth abortion is moral or humane. Perhaps the truth is being revealed?

It’s apparent that someone sucked out Madame Hillary’s brain… and heart out many decades ago.

The image of the Supremes (or anyone, for that matter) grabbing Madame Hillary’s ankles to do anything challenges the imagination.

The phony “outrage” expressed by the poll-leading Dem candidates indicates that 1) They haven’t read the details of the banned procedure or 2) They have done so and will consciously mis-represent it to score cheap points with their easily led constituencies.

Edwards was last known to have heard “channeled” affected fetuses prior to the ruling cry, “Ouch, ouch” as the non-child safe weapons of child destruction were pointed their way. Then, as now, he has not let reality get in the way of his vanity. Then again, maybe he thought that the doctors were giving the kids a haircut.

I just had someone tell me that this issue will kill the GOP in the elections because this is all about taking away women’s choices and their right to their own health care. I just have to stare in disbelief. I can’t fathom a thinking mind recognizing a baby with a brain that is then stabbed and sucked out and saying that is just a blob of tissue that is part of a woman’s body!!! I can’t fathom the complete shut-down of truth in a person’s conscience that could allow that kind of reasoning. If we teach our children that life is this cheap ~ because you can’t look at that baby halfway out and tell me that it isn’t life ~then why are we surprised at the VT shooting????

After much thought, and deliberation, I have pieced together the mystery behind the Virginia Tech shootings.

During 911 President Bush was having an enjoyable time persuading underprivileged kids the importance of reading-something noble and honorable. My beliefs are we could all serve mankind with such ideas and energy. Suddenly a bunch of whacked Islamics flew jet passenger planes into the Twin Towers. Several years later the liberals are convinced it was a conspiracy by the Bush Administration to get back at Saddam.

I heard a commentator on FOX News say this was the 911 of campi shootings, therefore a conspiracy could be the only logical explanation for the dingbat to fall off his rocker and shoot everyone in sight.

Where was Pelosi and or Kennedy when the shootings began. Who gave the turdhead the address to NBC and why did the postman decide to hand deliver it to the right people at NBC. Why did it not get lost in the mail like everything else does?

It is so clear, if you connect “my” dots, to see this is a Pelosi/Kennedy/and a hill full of liberal twits plan to shove gun control down our throats just like they thought Bush pushed Homeland Security down theirs.

Of course on a conservative Michael Moore type could do this conspiracy justice by making a movie right before the Democratic convention.

    I rest my case

    RedPepper,

People presently living who got laughed at in an American school: 34,734,592

People presently living who got laughed at in an American school and then murdered 32 fellow students: 1

Are there some conclusions we can come to here?

  • 39 Darthmeister // Apr 19, 2007 at 6:09 pm

And for the skeptical liberal who smugly says to themselves ol’ Darth is comparing apples with oranges:

South Koreans presently living in America who had zits, was shy, got laughed at in school, was depressed and lived in a home where their parents occasionally beat them: 24,756

South Koreans presently living in America who had zits, was shy, got laughed at in school, was depressed and lived in a home where their parents DID NOT beat them: 1

Conclusion: I guess Cho-scum’s parent should have beat him.

Did anyone catch the words of this traitor?
The war in Iraq “is lost” and a US troop surge is failing to bring peace to the country, the leader of the Democratic majority in the US Congress, Harry Reid, said Thursday.
“I believe … that this war is lost, and this surge is not accomplishing anything, as is shown by the extreme violence in Iraq this week,” Reid told journalists.

  • 42 Darthmeister // Apr 19, 2007 at 7:03 pm

…but then this gutless wonder then qualifies his statement of “the war is lost” with “if we continue following Bush’s plan.”

Well, your eminence, then what is YOUR PLAN that will win the victory in Iraq? Actually neither you nor any other Democrat have a plan but to cut-and-run, right? Or do you have a plan for victory but aren’t willing to share it with the President? In any case, you stand condemned in emboldening our enemies with your defeatism, Mr. Reid. Go busy yourself with some more shady real estate deals, sir.

While I strongly believe in a woman’s right to choose - the problem lies with the word “choice”. All women exercise their right of choice, at the moment of conception!

EVERYTHING following that choice (excepting rape, incest and mental incapibility) is the rammifications of the choice that has been made. There is no “Right of a second choice” X# of months later, or “the day after” either.

Like with candy bars, you pays your nickel and you takes your choice. You can’t return it later for a refund after you’ve already taken a bite out of it.

I asked the group of Right to Lifers I was sitting with why Abortion clinics aren’t regulated. Tattoo parlors are regulated more. In seems Hair Salons have more rules. It appears even a six-pack of beer gives more warnings on thier small label. Anyway, the reason that the Health Department and OSHA aren’t checking every inch and corner of the place (like they would a church soup kitchen) is because it is a constitutional right. Constitutional Rights can’t be regulated.

    Constitutional rights can’t be regulate.

That’s interesting, firearms are explicitly mention as being “the right of the People” (i.e. - an individual right) in the Constitution and its Bill of Rights. It’s regulated out the wazoo.

Abortion is far more inimical to human life than firearms are even in the hands of crazies. Why shouldn’t abortion be regulated, in fact banned as a deady weapon against the most innocent of humanity? Once again the liberal ethic is found to be seriously flawed and inconsistent.

“Clearly, partial-birth abortion isn’t enough. The only hope for civilization is to recognize a woman’s constitutional right to total-birth abortion in the fourth trimester and beyond!”

While written somewhat tongue-in-cheek, he makes an excellent point. I’ll just leave it at that.
