Gore: Climate Change Makes Hillary Less Polarizing

by Scott Ott · 41 Comments

(2007-02-22) — Oscar-nominated filmmaker Al Gore today agreed with fellow Hollywood mogul David Geffen and other supporters of presidential candidate Barack Obama that Sen. Hillary Clinton is an “incredibly polarizing figure”, but said global climate change will make her “more temperate” by the time she assumes the presidency in 2009.

“Clearly, a chill wind now blows from the Clinton campaign,” said Mr. Gore, the respected honorary climatologist, “But man-made greenhouse gases will cause a slow, but steady warming trend.”

Mr. Gore, who was elected president in 2000 but declined to serve, said, “You can already see evidence of the impact of global warming on Hillary Clinton in the fact that she’s not launching a campaign, but beginning a conversation, and she wants to talk and chat in the living room of each American.”

By the time voters go to the polls in November 2008, Mr. Gore said his computer models predict that “Sen. Clinton’s rising tide will lift all boats and she will be gushing to the extent that coastal residents will have to move inland.”

Move inland, priceless. Nicely done Scott!

Hillary Clinton is the Barry White of all liars-smooth and easy.

I hear she is coming out with a remake of I Can’t Get Enough of Your Love Babe called I Can’t Lie Enough to My Voters Babe.

    Yup, smooth and easy.

Uh oh! I guess with this “climate change” that there will be 9,991 bloating corpses in the Chocolate City then. Nine were destroyed in one day in N.O….without even one IED involvement. Not to worrry though: Hillarycare will ease the pain.

Isn’t Gore worried about the global-warming effect of the kleig lights shining on him when Hollywood crowns him for this year’s crockumentary? Truly, the Academy should create a separate category for these “fake but accurate” offerings. (Michael alMoore would approve of this message.)

    Funny stuff. I love it.

Hillary Clinton is an “incredibly polarizing figure”?

sHrillary has a figure? I didn’t know 32-34-42 was much of a figure.

BTW, does sHrillary’s Polaroids™ come with UV protection, too? I imagine the enviro-whackos would know.

Hank, are those measurements for her head or her body? Seems like it could go either way…

    oh dear

  • 12 boberinyetagain // Feb 22, 2007 at 1:44 pm

and that’s even worse, apologies for the repeat!!

  • 13 RedPepper // Feb 22, 2007 at 1:45 pm

Proving, yet again, that global warming can be blamed for anything!

Hmmm. Does that mean that “climate change” is responsible for Algore’s pompous, hideously annoying nasal whine?

  • 14 RedPepper // Feb 22, 2007 at 1:48 pm

    boberin, you’re not just a repeat offender - you’re a three-time loser now!

  • 15 upnorthlurkin // Feb 22, 2007 at 2:09 pm

Well at least he’ll finally have a post-graduate degree of some sort! Funny with his silver spoon heritage he couldn’t figure out how to buy a degree like President Bush did. (cough, cough….excuse the fur ball…trying to think like a lib causes that!)

And, it’s God Bless America (thank you very much!)

A bit off topic, but thought this alert from the Sac. Bee just come across the wires here at RightWing News, Ink. Just when you thought it was safe to be an out-of-control brat baby. sigh

Worse yet, for those who grew up long enough ago to know what a woodshed is-they may pass a law to destroy them also.
The powers to be already threw the school paddles away and, well I guess the Board of Education no longer exists.

Oh Lord thank you for allowing my time on earth to draw near.

    Spanking ban abandoned
By Jim Sanders - Bee Capitol Bureau
Last Updated 9:55 am PST Thursday, February 22, 2007

The California Legislature won’t be cracking down on spanking after all.

Assemblywoman Sally Lieber has abandoned her plans to push for a legislative prohibition on parents spanking their children under age 4.

Lieber, D-Mountain View, will introduce a bill Thursday morning that will target the use of physical force on children, but not spanking, an aide said.

The measure proposes a “rebuttable presumption” that certain acts against children under 18 are unjustifiable, including throwing, kicking or hitting them with a cord or other instrument.

So I’m gonna have beach front property. They just doubled my property tax from 1/5 mil in 2002 to 1/2 mil in 2006. So that must be it, they are basing my rags to riches story on which way the wind blows.

  • 18 mig // Feb 22, 2007 at 2:24 pm

Oh that’s not double the tax, but you do the math, my head hurts from trying to figure out if I should discipline my kids or let them be a policemans nightmare.(thumping fingers on desk as I contemplate To Spank or not to Spank.)

al Gore will henceforth be known as “Goracle” … Gore + Oracle.

It’s been floating around the ‘Net for the last few days.

bober, you do have a point. Flipping of a coin works for me.

Are Iraqi Muslims wising up? This from AlphabetCity blog:

Col. Sean B. MacFarland, commander of the 1st BCT, 1st AD which has returned to its home base in Wiesbaden, Germany after a 14 month deployment in Ramadi (where he flipped the majority of Ramadi’s tribal shaykhs to our side) had this to say:

Now, if you talk to these sheiks, they’ll tell you that they’re in no hurry to see the Americans leave al-Anbar (Province).

One thing Sheikh Sattar keeps saying is he wants al-Anbar to be like Germany and Japan and South Korea were after their respective wars, with a long-term American presence helping … put them back together. The negative example (the Sheikh) cited was Vietnam. He says, yeah, so, Vietnam beat the Americans, and what did it get them? You know, 30 years later, they’re still living in poverty.

Bingo! The Mouse That Roared syndrome now growing in Iraq?

  • 22 Shelly // Feb 22, 2007 at 2:38 pm

Hello, all. I’m glad somebody in the DNC is being nice to Hillary, unlike that mean guy Geffen. :-)

Our local radio host made an interesting statement yesterday. If “consensus” proves that global warming is a fact, then what about the consensus of the 90+% of Americans who believe in God?

OLA - Don’t suppose that we can look forward to Al insisting that; all of the kleig bulbs must be replaced with 14 watt curly-Q neon bulbs??

I wonder if sHrillary will change her middle name to Gaia any time soon?

  • 30 gafisher // Feb 22, 2007 at 8:46 pm

Climate change is a fact in Hollywood, but it’s a zero-sum game: the chill blowing toward Piano Legs is offset by a warming trend toward da ‘bama.

  • 31 gafisher // Feb 22, 2007 at 9:01 pm

    Fred #27: “…14 watt curly-Q neon bulbs??”

It’d take a lot more than that to make Al look bright.

    Hello all,
I don’t know what makes me angrier about that 1 degree of global warming, the extended growing season for food crops, or the reduced burning of fuel oil in the winter. Either way it’s Bush’s fault. It is fun to see Hill’s campaign peeps spew faux anger for the camera, but the look on barrak obamas face when he realizes that she had the nomination paid for in 04 will be truely priceless.

Drudge reports that Blair rules out strikes against Iran and since the USA won’t strike Iran either, both are aware that Iran’s nuclear progam must be halted. I can imagine considerable shipments from the UK and USA to Israel.

Some years ago, Israel proved the value of pre-emptive strikes in a similiar situation and since both the UK and the USA have a bunch of “stuff” laying around that neither are using…..a few hundreds of pieces of ordinance might be part of reinstituting our old WWII “Lend Lease” program, if in fact it isn’t a;ready a ‘done deal’.

    as in:
During Operation Desert Storm in early 1991, the U.S. Air Force had to find out that the deepest and most hardened Iraqi bunkers could not be defeated by the BLU-109/B penetrator warhead. Therefore a much more powerful “bunker buster” warhead was urgently needed. Several options were discussed, but even the quickest possible alternative (an upscaled BLU-109) was estimated to have a development time of at least 4-5 weeks. Finally, USAF engineers at Eglin AFB came up with the idea to drop a very heavy guided bomb from high altitude, creating a powerful kinetic energy penetrator. The USAF eventually opted for the development of a 4500 lb bomb with Paveway III laser guidance.

Only the initial batch of BLU-113/B warheads was made from howitzer gun barrels, and later purpose-build warheads were designated BLU-113A/B. The latest warhead used in the GBU-28/B series is the BLU-122/B, which was developed under the BLU-113 P3I (Pre-Planned Product Improvement) program. It has unspecified improvements in warhead design and explosives, to enhance penetration capability and general effectiveness. Like other Paveway III GCUs, the GBU-28/B’s WGU-36/B has also been enhanced with a GPS/INS package. This is included in WGU-36B/B and later versions, and GBU-28s so equipped are informally referred to as EGBU-28. The primary delivery aircraft for the GBU-28/B series LGBs is the F-15E Eagle.

PS - Israel might buy a few “Stealth” F-22’s to replace their F-15 Eagles - if they haven’t already done so. If they have….watch the news over the next few weeks.

Feels good to be back working…even one-handed.

Let me go do it again today.

I think it is somewhat strange that the atheist, the socialist, the Communists and liberals are so firmly convinced that there is no God and/or no life after death and therefore no judgement day; can at the same time be afraid of “ghosts” and “evil spirits”. Is that a contradiction, an anomaly or just plain stupid?
