Airlines Offer Muslim Prayer Sections on All Flights

by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 53 Comments · · Print This Story Print This Story

(2006-11-21) — In the wake of a civil rights crisis sparked when culturally-insensitive passengers on a U.S. Airways flight Monday became alarmed at the sight of six praying Muslim Imams, a consortium of major airlines has agreed to set aside Muslim prayer sections on all domestic and international flights.

“From now on, we devote our former first class sections to the use of our faithful, peaceful Muslim customers,” said an unnamed airline industry spokesman. “Most of the time, when a group of Muslim men suddenly stands up on an airplane chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’, they’re simply praying. Although the memories of 9/11 are still fresh in the minds of many Americans, if we’re going to heal those wounds, we need to move beyond religious intolerance.”

Flight attendants will alter their safety instructions to inform passengers that “seat cushions can be used as prayer mats,” and pilots will make every effort to point planes toward Mecca five times each day.

The industry source added, “We ask our devoted Muslim customers only to remember that all domestic flights are non-smoking, and we’d like to keep them that way.”

And the captain will have the cockpit door open just in case a jihad is suddenly declared by one of the more devout Muslim passengers.

And, in “Muslim Class”, flight attendants will offer box cutters as an optional utensil instead of the traditional “spork” often used in airline food.

I wonder what kind of God it is that makes people face Mecca/east when they pray? Is this a vestige from the worship of the moon god Allah which rose in the east?

Yes, we Christians are so intolerant, we just haven’t gotten around to beheading all the secular humanists, homosexuals, atheists, and other infidels who so publicly mock YHWH and His Messiah.

    Yo momma!

Dr. Sanity hits the nail on the head when she says:

“Thus, the imams’ fellow passengers showed a great deal of sensitivity and reasonableness to the insensitive and provocative behavior of these self-absorbed (dare I say narcissistic?) imams, who apparently believe that their particular religious beliefs trump every other consideration and that everyone must concur with their particular…prejudice…on that issue.”

Well, now that the “imams” are calling for a boycott of US Airways, and what with the revelations of their (the “imams’”) terrorist connections, I think US Airways might become the airline of choice among Americans.

I don’t fly, but I say, “Hey, ‘imams’ of the world unite! Boycott all of the airlines while you’re at it!

Imagine if a bunch of Christians had started having a revival on board a plane; there’s be no end to the condemnation from the Leftists.

  • 30 Darthmeister // Nov 21, 2006 at 5:46 pm

    JL3rd,

If this had been Pentecostal Christians yelling their hallelujahs and praying out loud to Jesus, the leftists and other “multi-cultural” seculars (who defend this stiff-necked, unrepentant people who blaspheme the Savior of the World with their Koranic lies every day) would:

    1) Demand the Pentecostals go into their prayer closet and shut the helk up.

    2) Condemn these “idiotic holy rollers” for acting holier-than-thou

    3) Complain that the Pentecostals were disturbing the peace with their prayers and lack of public decorum.

    4) Complain that the Pentecostals were “forcing their religion down their throats” by being so public with their prayers … blah, blah, blah.

As usual, leftists and closet Christian-haters engage in double-standards by rushing to the aid of these six Muslims - condemn the Christians who publicly practice their faith one day but support the Islamists as a “downtrodden minority” the next.

  • 37 JamesonLewis3rd // Nov 21, 2006 at 9:04 pm

    As Michelle Malkin says:

“Even as more and more passengers and airlines take reality-based preemptive and precautionary measures to prevent the next 9/11-and even as the headlines bring us daily evidence of al Qaeda’s continued airport/airplane terrorist plots-we have a Democratic Congress ready to criminalize airport investigations of any Muslims at any time for any security reasons.

With such staunch Democrat defenders of homeland security like these, beholden to CAIR and political correctness, who needs enemies?”

  • 38 da Bunny // Nov 21, 2006 at 9:08 pm

You can count me in on keeping the flights “non-smoking.” And, where is the “cultural sensitivity” on the part of these Imams? They KNOW what happened on 9/11/2001, and it’s still fresh in the minds of a LOT of this country’s citizens. Instead of standing up and making their little “scene,” they could have prayed quietly together. They pulled this stunt on purpose, in order to call attention to themselves, and to get the leftist-PC fools riled up on their behalf. America is NOT a muslim country, but these people are out to turn it into one, and anyone who believes differently should know this, and know it well…live by the “PC” attitude, die by the “PC” attitude.

  • 39 JamesonLewis3rd // Nov 21, 2006 at 10:14 pm

    Exactly.

I agree this was a stunt on their behalf.

No doubt in my mind. Having sublimated themselves into European society with ease, they have now set their sights on us. This is just the beginning that we have been witnessing here in the US.

We cannot allow this to continue. We cannot conform to them.

    Game on.

  • 40 JamesonLewis3rd // Nov 21, 2006 at 10:23 pm

There has been plenty of talk that if we bug-out of Iraq they will follow us here. I contend they are already here and have put their plan into action in anticipation of our succumbing to their will. Their liberal, appeasing lackeys (you know who they are) have laid the groundwork and their ball is already on the roll.

I will never succumb. Never. I will fight to the death.

  • 41 bystander // Nov 21, 2006 at 11:38 pm

Cmon now we can’t be discrimnatory here Scott.

How about a mini wailing wall for the Israelites, a bully pulpit for the religious right nuts, a couple of victims for the crusaders to spear inflight, a small puddle for baptisms, some rocks for druids and let’s not forget the Wiccans, etc., etc.

I mean we won’t have any room left on the aircraft for the everyday air traveler !

While bystander stands on the sidelines cheering on the right of Islamic fundamentalist crazies to insinuate themselves in our society. He’d probably would look nice in a burqa. As long as these “imams” remain silent about what their murderous jihadist brethren are doing in the name of Allah and the Koran, then I don’t see any reason to trust them or believe a word they say about being “people of peace”. Instead, all we are getting is their taquiyya indignation about being “unfairly” lumped in with the rest of their “Allah Akbar” brethren. I want to see them publicly denounce all jihadism presently engaged in by their religious brothers.

  • 48 bystander // Nov 22, 2006 at 8:17 am

“I want to see them publicly denounce all jihadism presently engaged in by their religious brothers.”

For once Darth I can’t agree with you more. Over time I have sent e-mails to a number of Muslim organizations pointing out that the lack of a very loud cry of protest over Muslim terrorist activities by Muslim Imams has been very noticeable to me.

    I never get a response !

  • 49 bystander // Nov 22, 2006 at 8:20 am
