Camouflaged Kerry Denies Deceiving Dead Goose
by Scott Ott

(2004-10-21) -- John Forbes Kerry today denied allegations of deception after his morning goose hunt on an Ohio farm.

Reporters peppered the Democrat presidential candidate with questions after learning that Mr. Kerry apparently disguised himself as swamp grass in order to accomplish his goal.

"I have nothing to hide: I'm a hunter," Mr. Kerry said. "This here shotgun clearly indicates that. My $140 Ohio hunting license documents it. It's the goose that's dead wrong."

Mr. Kerry, a professional Vietnam veteran, distinguished war protestor and "regular guy" who is also a U.S. Senator, later stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up some more shotgun shells and a box of Tide laundry detergent for his wife, Teresa.
