Bush Domestic Agenda Trails Unnamed Dem Plan by Scott Ott (2004-01-20) -- The latest Washington Post-ABC News poll shows President George Bush's domestic agenda losing 48-to-46 in a head-to-head matchup with an unnamed Democrat domestic plan. "Bush is clearly vulnerable on domestic policy," said an unnamed pollster. "People love the non-specific Democrat plan, and they adore the idea of a candidate who could effectively run against Bush." The survey also showed that 78 percent of Democrats rate Mr. Bush's upcoming State of the Union address as "not nearly as good as a speech that some really dynamic Democrat might give if he or she were president."
