Missing Troops May Surface After ‘Don’t Ask’ Repeal

by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 12 Comments · · Print This Story Print This Story

(2010-05-28) — The imminent repeal of the 1993 ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ law banning homosexual troops from “serving openly” in the U.S. military holds out hope for Pentagon brass that thousands of active-duty soldiers, sailors, aviators and marines might finally surface.

Pentagon planners said the clandestine service of these closeted people, while undoubtedly valuable, makes scheduling troop deployments difficult, “since no one knows exactly how many homosexual troops don’t serve openly.”

“Regardless of one’s sexual preferences,” said one unnamed Pentagon planner, “we’ve always encouraged our troops to defend freedom, fight the enemy, provide logistical support and otherwise fulfill the oath with utter frankness and forthrightness. Nevertheless, we still have some who don’t feel they can serve openly without Congressional approval.”

The Pentagon source added that, “In my experience, neither trigger nor ordnance of any caliber perform differently after you announce or act out your sexual preferences. Keeping personal information private shouldn’t inhibit your service.”

Meanwhile, when asked by a reporter if the repeal of ‘Don’t Ask. Don’t Tell’ would open the door to taxpayer-funded benefits for same-sex domestic partners of military personnel, similar to the new policy at the State Department, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs answered simply: “You don’t ask. I won’t tell.”

As I was going up the stair
    I met a man who wasn't there.
    He wasn't there again today.
    I wish, I wish he'd go away!

Licentiousness has become the new national pastime for much of the world. This, obviously, is not news because it has been so since Adam bit.
Sin was a bad thing for a long time but now, in a very real Orwellian sense, it is a good thing. It's what satan has been up to for the last 2.01k [updated from 2.11k typo] years.

Oh, Scott, that's FUNNY. Deadly serious on one level, but so laughable and worthy of ridicule. NICE.

Funny thing about "those" people (well, they're funny by definition, but I digress); you don't even have to ask, and they seem more than willing to tell you anyway.

    Keep it to yourselves!

The left continually shows it's hypocrisy; On the one hand it wants to protect marriage if its' same sex, but if it's between a man and a woman… you will be taxed to the poor house, your productivity becomes public property.
And I ask you with all sincerity; isn't marriage as we know it a Jewish/Christian institution, instituted by God in the commandments. Prior to 'all those rules' of Jews/Christians, didn't society reflect it's pagan desires with sex temples and children growing up without the benefits of family? (sounds like where we're heading now, doesn't it)
So why is it so important that same sex couples have the stamp of approval of an institution that in Deuteronomy and Leviticus calls homosexuality abominable? Arent' they already afforded the legal institution of civil unions?
And why would you want to join up with Christians if you don't like what they represent?

If I may paraphrase satan with an Orwellian translation: "Judæo-Christian values are like so abhorrent; therefore, let us craft a bejeweled golden idol out of them and bring all to bow before it."

This idol is repugnant and repulsive. The "missing troops" will surface, only because they will be the only ones there.

"the repeal of ‘Don’t Ask. Don’t Tell’ would open the door to taxpayer-funded benefits for same-sex domestic partners of military personnel"…

They shouldn't get too excited, because Obama is going to reinstate the marriage penalty. I guess that will create a "same-sex domestic partner penalty"… which will become the next thing on the gay-lesbian agenda. Then they'll be arguing that their "partnerships" are NOT like "real" marriages. D'OH!

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight…for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy On of Israel." Isaiah 5:20-24

But then, either they don't believe there is a God or they don't believe that He really means what He says.

Have a good Memorial Day, everyone!

    I went into a public-‘ouse to get a pint o’ beer,
The publican ’e up an’ sez, “We serve no red-coats here.”
The girls be’ind the bar they laughed an’ giggled fit to die,
I outs into the street again an’ to myself sez I:
    O it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ “Tommy, go away”;
But it’s “Thank you Mister Atkins”, when the band begins to play,
The band begins to play, my boys, the band begins to play,
O it’s “Thank you Mister Atkins”, when the band begins to play.

    Headline: WE'RE DOOMED.
Concerned citizens have noticed that BHO is not only ripping out the soul of the USofA [abetted by the Democrat party & their Bolshevik goons] but is committing genocide upon the entire planet right before our very eyes. Many of these concerned citizens have been overheard saying, "Thanks a lot."

When asked, "Thanks a lot," for what? They invariably swept the horizon with outstretched arms and replied, "Look around."

Is it true that the Eastern Muslim community does not tolerate gays in their midst and kill them? That would certainly be more dangerous to the gay soldier ,if outed.

    It's funny,but I don't understand it ……:>)
