by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 16 Comments · · Print This Story Print This Story

The White House today attempted to quell alarm over two interlopers who somehow breached security to attend a state dinner for the prime minister of India this week.

Although Tareq and Michaele Salahi were not on the initial guest list, said White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, “They do appear on the retro guest list, thus negating any national security threat.”

The retro guest list, the White House spokesman explained, is prepared after the event to reconcile guest projections with actual results.

    "…celebrity status…made them welcome at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue any time."

    Sad, but true.

    "Vice President Joe Biden…was never in danger, and in fact he was only made aware of his own attendance at the dinner the next day. In any case, replacing him is a simple matter of a presidential appointment, and would not have disrupted the business of the executive office in the least."

    See previous remark, above…

    Since these two actually committed no criminal offense, it is highly unlikely they will get an appointment to the Obama administration. The "PREZ" has to have his standards!

    That Rashid Khaladi connection is particularly bothersome. The L A Times withheld publication of ObaMao's remarks at a dinner fo Khaladi prior to the election, probably because they were so damaging to the patina of wonderfulness that the media was trying to create over its chosen presidential candidate.

    We have a person sitting in the WH who is hostile to Israel and sympathetic to anti-Israeli interests and regimes. His friends and staff share that world-view.

    Democrats never can grasp the intellectual value of the Law of Unintended Consequences.
    Their EGO's get in the way
    EGO= Easing God Out.
    The more they act like themselves the more the country recoils.

    This whole brouhaha re the Salahis smells beyond words, and the ObaMaos are not averse to dumping on the Secret Service.

    Former press secretary for W Bush claims that the ObaMaos wanted to lessen the protocol strictures on security for the White House admissions when they assumed power. The WH social secretary, Desiree Rodgers (Michelle Obama's friend(, was supposed to be at the entrance area vetting incoming guests. Instead, she was partying with the guests.

    The Secret Service will be the fall guys for this blunder (because the ObaMaos are "circling the wagons" in protecting Desiree Rodgers).

    These people did not belong in a party tent. They belong in a barn…for their disregard of protocol and security. At the same time, they squeal about the number of threats against the Boy King.
