VERY COOL Scott, I didn't know you knew Alphonzo, another great American! Just be careful critisizing a corrupt black politician or the libs will try to paint you a racist as they have me.
I will let Scrapplers be the judge if I am a racist. I have a link to a 7 minute video of a man, that I agree with 100% of what he says on it, so if I am a racist, then he must be too.

Let me be the first to say, Priceless! (even though I know that's a different commercial) This was very well done! Now all we need is a way to get it on television. I do believe humor and mocking is the very best way of making our point!
5 RAM1 // Sep 23, 2009 at 12:35 pm
This is possibly my favorite YouTube video of Alphonzo. In about ONE MINUTE he describes WHY he is a Conservative and I wish I was as articulate with my words as he is! I don't think I have ever heard ANYONE describe being a Conservative as well, in such a short amount of time.

Good show (said with British accent). Isn't it amazing how far the Internet has come, and by saying that I applaud Scott and Scrappleface. As one amongst us who have been around for seven or more years it is amazing what we see on the computer.
I agree with onlineanalist's remarks about Face to Face. I have been thinking about the fantastic weekend lately. I'm not sure I can hike around as much as we did that year, but point me in the right direction and something great will happen.
Great work Scott! Glad I made it back

Congressman Rangel has served in the House of Representatives since January 3, 1971.
And it shows …
9 Upnorthlurkin // Sep 23, 2009 at 2:09 pm
In my not so humble opinion, he should be serving somewhere else!

Hello, Upnorthlukin and Ms. RW! Don't worry about a second Shelly, this is my new moniker. It's also good to see camojack, too.
Wouldn't you think the people in Rangel's district would grow tired of being embarassed?
18 Upnorthlurkin // Sep 23, 2009 at 5:56 pm
Hi Shelly! Good to "see" you too! And it's pretty obvious to me none of the people in Rangel's district have any shame! Democrats in general are an embarrassment.
Love your pup!

Ah, he was citing some article he'd read and how ludicrous it was (I didn't catch the details) but he assured his audience that it was a "real" article not a "Scott Ott/Scrappleface piece.
So, not exactly about you but I'm told that any publicity is good publicity so…Good for you all the same!

Scott: Rush was talking about the following story from Great Britain:
Staff in carbon footprint trial face £100 fines for high emissions
People who emit more than their fair share of carbon emissions are having their pay docked in a trial that could lead to rationing being reintroduced via the workplace after an absence of half a century.
He then said something like, "This is a real story, folks. It's not the Onion. It's not Scott Ott at Scrappleface … "

Our 2 Trillion Bridge to Nowhere
"If you want to know why Americans are so fearful of a government takeover of the health-care system, take a look at the results of a new Gallup poll on government waste released Sept. 15. One question posed was: "Of every tax dollar that goes to Washington, D.C., how many cents of each dollar would you say is wasted?" Gallup found that the mean response was 50 cents. With Uncle Sam spending just shy of $4 trillion this year, that means the public believes that $2 trillion is wasted."
But hey. What's a few zeroes among friends -

25 boberinyetagain // Sep 23, 2009 at 8:09 pm
Not that this negates your findings but I'm continually amazed at what the public believes.
Admittedly, they might be right on this one (might be) but "they" are so very, very wrong on so many, many things that the "people" believing something is not all that much of an endorsement.
26 boberinyetagain // Sep 23, 2009 at 8:30 pm
You mean the "Don Johnson"? They actually make razors that leave you looking like that.
27 MoMadeMeDoIt // Sep 23, 2009 at 8:35 pm
No problem. Not "my" findings, I am not an employee of Gallup —
For what it's worth, whether "the people" are "right on this" or wrong, it IS their money, after all, so I suppose they are entitled to have an opinion on the matter regardless.
28 boberinyetagain // Sep 23, 2009 at 8:45 pm
No question…and my comment was a reply to you, not any sort of attack…I know they aren't "your" findings…
But, "they" are not all that bright. I say this fully realizing that I am one of "them"

Simply amazing the number of things Barack is able to ignore.

I have no idea if Jess Reed is a real person or not. It’s not the messenger that is important – it’s the message. And it doesn’t get better than this!
