ScrappleFace readers know that editor Scott Ott is running for office for the first time, because he believes ordinary folks must step up and dislodge big-spending, liberty-leeching career politicians, so that ‘we the people’ can re-take our Constitutional Republic. Scott’s opponent has a $750,000 war chest from union political action committees and wealthy individuals whose companies have an interest in maintaining the status quo.
All of our railing against big government won’t mean anything if we can’t actually defeat one of these guys at the ballot box, and replace him with a common sense, Constitutional leader from among ‘we the people’. All of the Tea Parties and 9/12 rallies will be for nought. We must send a shockwave through incumbents nationwide by bringing down one of their own. We need to attack big government at the roots.
Please watch this video Scott Ott shot with a FlipVideo camera…and no TelePromTer…then visit VoteScottOtt.org and give to help him win. The campaign takes PayPal, credit cards and checks by mail:

"Ordinary folks" need to realize that the Permanent Political Class is buying the vote using the "folk's" own money.
Good luck, Scott …

The CEO of ACORN should have resigned a couple of weeks ago. The FBI should have seized all ACORN/SEIU assets everywhere. BHO should resign now.

Scott, I applaud your political striving even tho your cry does not seem to work in either party. Everybody wants to take down the other guy's rep but not their own.
Government can never be operated like a business due to the way it is financially set-up.
I worked for the federal government for many years. Managers never decreased their budget for the following year because that meant they would get much less allocated to them and to continue along that vein would mean a steadily decreasing amount of funds every succeeding year to follow.
There is never any incentive to be truly efficient and cost saving ! To do so would mean your empire would shrink every year.
Tis truly insanity at its height !
