I wonder if Mac users trend heavily left. That would add a whole degree of funny to this.

I wonder when they'll come out with ringtones of townhall jeering?

Nancy Pelosi 2006: “I’m a fan of disruptors. Nothing could be more American.”
    Now: “Disruptors are simply un-American.”

Nancy Pelosi 2006: “I understand your anger.”
Now: “I can’t stand your anger.”

Naw, Pelosi is no partisan hack, she's just becoming more senile.

Liberal hypocrites like her makes me want to hurl.

I avoided the middleman and went ahead and had a hi-def spy cam (with GPS) implanted so I could keep an eye on me and stream video to the White House; it's disguised as a pore on the tip of my nose, zooming and stuff is controlled by my nostrils.

Boredom. I will bore them into submission with an infinite litany of boring megabytes streamed from my boring nose cam. AH-HA-HA-HA-HA

For those who aren't honesty impaired or swilling the Democrat kool-aid, the Montana "townhall" demonstrated Obama's credibility is shot.

Interesting development that the national socialist media is ignoring, tickets for the townhall were not supposed to go public until 9:00 yet those who were opposed to Obama's socialist healthcare initiative found there were no tickets available even though they showed up an hour before the official release time!

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain! Obama's non-partisan "townhall" was a complete sham.

  • 5 Darthmeister // Aug 15, 2009 at 9:36 am

Given Obama's many lies and incompetence on the healthcare "debate", he ought to be sued by the American people for malpractice.

Let's see; the Mac is extensively central-planned, rigorously price-controlled, and subject to extremely restricted distribution. Mac users might not be leftists, but leftists could certainly find much to love in the Mac. ;-)

We had our first TEA party Thursday evening and it was a blast! The news made it to the front page of our daily lib rag with the headline, "Conservatives meet to protest healthcare reform" at city hall. We had three speakers and then an open mike and believe me, we certainly weren't all conservatives. Just about everyone was against the government take over of a (another) sixth of our economy. I guess we have too many Indian Reservations (where the government runs their health care…badly) for our (stupid) citizens to put much faith in the Obamanation's Healthscare proposal.

From Instapundit. A civil society that libtards can't possibly conceive in the darkened labyrinths of their elitist minds:

I dropped the girls off at a movie, and — since the Insta-wife was lunching with her mom — stopped at a Sonny’s Barbecue for lunch. A man — late 40s, big, with a wife and a daughter — came in with an empty holster on his belt. As he sat down at the booth next to mine, the manager came by and asked him if he’d left his gun in the car. Yes, said the man, who had a permit but thought he wasn’t allowed to carry in restaurants in Tennessee.. Well, they’ve changed the law, said the manager, and if you want to go get it that’s fine with us. It’s legal now, and I’m happy to have you carrying — if somebody tries to rob me, it’s two against one.

The man stepped outside and returned with a Springfield XD in the holster, chatted with the manager for a bit about guns, and then sat down and had lunch with his family.

I wonder if his Springfield XD has Trijicon night sights like mine? BTW, I'm licensed to carry in Tennessee, too.

You couldn't ask for a better Joker-Socialist explanation than this one:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZ8L0RE2Axs&eu...

Does this "articulate" Present!-dent begin to know what he is talking about?

  • 19 RAM1 // Aug 15, 2009 at 9:03 pm

One last thing. Obama has told another lie, (what a shock! lol). He said the White House is NOT keeping an "enemies list". Well, BY LAW, the White House has to keep emails that are sent there, and so, believeing what even the libs say, that he is an intelligent man, he HAD to know that the White House could NOT delete/ dispose of these emails WHEN THEY ASKED that people, (rather, lib troll SNITCHES), send/forward emails of Americans that were sending "fishy rumors" about Obama.

So then it stands to reason that he KNEW they would, BY LAW, have these peoples emails, (in a LIST), that are enemies of him!

If they don't consider them enemies, what are they,— FRIENDS?

ObamaMarx might as well just listen in on our private conversations. As if they are NOT already!

I find it EXTREMELY amusing that 90% of the left wing-nuts that worried about Bush "listening in" to their phone conversations, walk around in their front yards, or in restaurants, talking on their cell phones at the top of their voices.

Why would anyone need to "tap" their line? ;-)

  • 20 gafisher // Aug 15, 2009 at 10:16 pm

Agreed, Michael, and I'm glad it was clear I was joking. I've purchased Macs for my wife (because she, too "work[s] well, [is] beautiful, and compete[s] successfully …") and recommend them to others. My personal preference is for anything that runs Linux, which makes my world larger than most since Linux runs on everything, but the Mac might well be my second choice.

As for the political leanings of Mac users, I know at least some Scrapplers depend on Macs, and of course everyone knows Rush Limbaugh is a huge Mac fan.

OLA: That is a great video! It looks like Obama is going to the same surgeon that Michael Jackson did to get "white skin" treatments. It kind of looks creepy, (only natural though with old "Dumbo"), but the change to the red lips from those hideous purple lips he did have is a big improvement!

Maybe that surgeon can do something about Michelle's "linebacker" hips?

Check out the AOL story of how Obama got all sentimental about "granny" at his Town Hall.

    http://news.aol.com/article/obama-invokes-grandmo...

Keep in mind, this is the same "granny" he said was, "-a typical white person", and NEVER even attended her funeral, even though he can fly to New York for "date night".

Be sure and vote and then look at the totals for Obama's healthcare plan and the percentage of people satisfied with their current healthcare. Right now it is 67%!!!!!!

I thought Jimmy Carter would always be the worst President of all time, but only 6 months in, O-blah-blah has him beat hands down!

This was good enough to suggest to the Ministry of Information. In fact I used the occasion to report myself to flag@whitehouse.gov. Sent this last night:

" I’d like to pass along a great technological breakthrough which will give your loyal minions the ability to rat out fellow citizens from their iPhones:
    http://www.pjtv.com/video/Specials/_____Silencing...

Since your staff is apparently too technologically inept to compile its own enemies list, by all means get other people to do it for you! Richard Nixon would be so proud.

While we’re on the subject, I should probably report myself as someone guilty of Thoughtcrimes concerning health care reform. I also share my views and numerous reputable sources of information with others. I understand this is a big problem for you. Since the majority of American opinion opposes the Administration’s and Congressional leadership’s cram-down on this issue, you must be very busy indeed.

At least she is safe from the likes of "wizbang"! lol

She does have Carson listed as being "missing in 'inaction'". I saw on a couple of sites that had Town Hall dates listed for the entire United States that they did NOT have ANY listed for Indiana.

Looks like us "Town Hall-ers" will have to show up in force at the polls next November! That is unless Obama's goon squad's of black panthers, SEIU, ACORN, etc, are not there breaking us old folks legs!

    "Health Care Retreat"

So read the headlines, but don't be deceived, it's no "retreat," just a regrouping. Yes, it's a minor victory, in that the flea bit until the dog scratched, but correct anyone who says the "Public Option" has been dropped; it's merely been redefined. Remember, too, that the "Public Option" is only one of many very bad provisions of the "Plan," and not even the worst of them.

    Good commentary [here].

Gallup: Conservatives Outnumber Liberals in All 50 States

  • 57 onlineanalyst // Aug 17, 2009 at 6:12 pm

The Insurance co-op is a red herring, a foot in the door to promote government-run health care, according to the CATO Institute.

"Michael Tanner of the CATO Institute cautions that opponents of a government-run “public option” should not be fooled by this “compromise.” It’s suggested that these co-ops would be nonprofits, but many insurers are already classified as “nonprofit” companies–including “mutual” insurance companies and groups like Blue Cross. In addition, states already have the power to set up their own health care co-ops and a number already exist. So, if the “new co-ops” are to operate under the same rules as other nonprofit insurers, why bother?

  • 58 onlineanalyst // Aug 17, 2009 at 6:14 pm

    (cont'd) from Cato:
Supporters of government-run health care have no intention of letting the co-ops be independent enterprises. In fact, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) makes it clear, for example, that the co-op’s officers and directors would be appointed by the president and Congress. He insists that there be a single national co-op. And Congress would set the rules under which it operates. As Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT) says, “It’s got to be written in a way that accomplishes the objectives of a public option.”

If a “co-op” is run by the federal government under rules imposed by the federal government with funding provided by the federal government, that is government-run health insurance by another name.
