Health Plan on Ice, Obama Pushes Grocery Reform

His health care plan at least temporarily stymied in Congress, President Obama announced today that he would mount a 27-city tour to promote his new nutrition reform program, dubbed America’s Affordable Grocery Choices Act.

With the cost of grocery items skyrocketing, experts say that about 330 million Americans suffer periodic bouts of hunger. Children and the elderly often go for hours between meals.

    Oh the humanity, the injustice, the horror!
    At least we need not worry about it being “organic” food, turns out that stuff is no good for you anyway…just more expensive

    it pays for itself through an increase in taxes on caviar, shrimp and other luxury items that wealthy people eat.

    “Other luxury items” include such Obama favorites as wagyu beef, arugula, and brie.

    Haven’t heard of a new tax on Bud Light yet, only soft drinks.

    Also don’t be expecting another “picnic get-to-gether” anytime soon even with the new, expensive soda’s, unless it might be with Pepsi who has that remarkable logo! ;-)
