ScottOtt.org Just Launched with New Video

by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 29 Comments · · Print This Story Print This Story

The people of the world have cried out for a repository (a treasure house if you will) of all things that proceed from the mouth and mind of Scott Ott. The ScrappleFace Enterprise Institute, in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Otts, has just launched a “beta” version of this resource center. From it, you can easily access every point in the constellation of Mr. Ott’s multimedia empire.

To kick off this experiment in free speech, Mr. Ott recorded his thoughts on “The Truth and Beauty of Conservatism.” You can watch the video at ScottOtt.org

Scott, what a hoot. I went to your voice over page, since that was a favorite way to make a few bucks when I lived in LA and found your Neil Diamond Impersonation .

Maybe you had that on Scrappleface, but you know how much time I spend at the Merciful Painful Hotel down the road, so perhaps I missed it.

Any way you look at it, that was funny. If you, out there in the Land of Scrapple need a good swift kick to your funny bone go look it up.

I cried until I laughed, or was it the other way around? Hmm.

I’m glad to know the truth and beauty of Scott Ott, and so many in his community.

For the first time, I tuned today to “This Week with George What-his-name” to see what trash they were peddling against Governor Palin. I’ve e-mailed Michelle Malkin and Matt Drudge to check it out. Obama criticizes attacks against his “Muslim faith,” which George quickly corrects as his “Christian faith.” Obama then goes on to describe it as deep and personal. Hopefully this will be on YouTube soon. Once again we see why he thinks there are 57 states.

    Shelly~~

Thank you for the Semi-Comical Digital Evidence.

Steph should have said, “Your Goodyear faith;” he would have repeated it.

He threw himself under the bus with that one. Faux pas to the max.

Not to worry folks, it doesn’t matter what religion the sav-your follows, all that matters is that he is. Our resident spiritual and theological expert will be here soon to straighten us all out once and for all,as he has been school in Extra Theology.
Too bad George didn’t say my so-called faith. Did anyone see the whole piece? I’d like to have had just a little more context, even though what he said says all we need to know.

Wind power dying in Moorehead, Mn.

More than 200 Moorhead residents have stopped subscribing to the city-owned utility’s wind energy program since its inception in 1999. There are 650 customers who continue to pay a monthly $5 surcharge to support the green effort, despite costly repairs and unscheduled stops in service.

At its peak, in 2001, about 900 people subscribed to Moorhead Public Service’s “Capture the Wind” program

They say that he simply misspoke, but I do not know of one professing Christian that could have the phrase “my Muslim faith” slip off of their tongue and not even think anything about it. It just rolled off there like he says it often. I can’t say yea or nea about his faith, but I do have strong opinions about it that I believe to be correct. If that bothers you, I cannot change them without sufficient evidences to cause me to do so, and he himself has to do the convincing, not you or his media cheerleaders.

Power Line has another great Obama video. You have to scroll down to “The Courage to Whine” where he says people are asking him what he’s learned since being President. (of these 57 states?)

The next several weeks might be gaffe-tastic, a term I borrow from Michelle Malkin.

  • 18 Fred Sinclair // Sep 7, 2008 at 7:52 pm

MRW,I #14 - Your reference to the “Capture the Wind” program, got me to thinking about how far an algoreite could carry this capture the wind idea? There are some people who have to wear a An ostomy pouching system (also colloquially and incorrectly called a colostomy bag) so they’ll eventually pass a law mandating flatulence collection bags.

It’s about time to start a business manufacturing Air Bags for the new Federal Law that Dingy Harry, Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi and other Manmade Global Warming Freaks of their ilk will get pushed through Congress and with President Bush having bought into their hoax as he seems to have done - he’ll sign it into law.
Everyone will be forced (you think not? Don’t forget the mandatory seat belts, Air bags in cars, tiny commode flush tanks and CFL bulbs) to wear flatulence harnesses with clip on Glad Bags. since everyone will be wearing them (excepting members of Congress of course, they always exempt themselves from any laws they pass to govern the masses) I don’t know, is flatulence lighter than air? If your bag gets too full because the drop off point is closed would you just float off into the stratosphere?
It’s going to be a hoot! All cows, horses, buffalos, dogs, cats, hamsters, guiena pigs, pet mice, parakeets, canaries, circus elephants, lions, tigers, etc. to catch and contain all of the animal flatulence that is destroying the planet. There will of course have to be collection points where the filled Glad bags can be dropped off and new ones clipped in place. so the gas can be recycled, blended with propane for a new hybrid fuel for home heating.

If algore can sell carbon footprint offsets and even buy them from his own company, then surely we should be able to market flatulence offsets of some kind. But what to do about all of those wild deer, elk, moose. bears, etc.???

Think of all the jobs that would be created. All those people sitting (well standing, as sitting would be a problem as the bags filled) at their sewing machines making harnesses on which to clip “Super Stretch” Glad Bags. And all those new jobs to hire and train people to shoot tranquilizer darts so all the wildlife can be fitted with their own personal gas bags. Perhaps B.O. army (the equal in personnel and budget of our Military) could be trained to go out into the wilderness and change wildlife’s gas collection bags on a timely basis?

When all of the flatulence of all the humans and animals in India, China, Russia, Europe, The Middle East, Africa. North and South America, The Arctic, Antarctica, Greenland, etc. is considered and totaled; there’s over 6 billion people and probably many more than that as flatulating non-human animals - totaling perhaps 20+ billion flatulence gas bag harnesses to be made. And if all this sounds stupid, asinine, and crazy, that’s because it is stupid, asinine, and crazy - but certainly no more so than algore and his stupid, asinine, and crazy “Manmade Global Warming Hoax”.

I’m guessing that maintenance on those windmills is prohibitively expensive. They should accessorize them with accessories like oil/gas wells, refineries and vast farms of storage tanks.

Can’t blame the Mooreheadians for trying but I think it would require a swath of millions of treacherously lanky, camouflaged fans spinning wildly, non-stop, from south of Abilene, over to El Paso and up to Canada to even make a dent.

I’m going to take an Online Windmill Maintenance Man Course and get a certificate and everything.

Obama’s verbal slip fuels his critics: ‘My Muslim faith’…

    Video can be seen here

The liberal media is really in the tank for Obama. If a Republican had made a similar “slip” on a controversial issue, he would have been crucified for the next two months. Despite how the media is trying to spin this, Obama didn’t correct himself but rather George Snuffleofagus had to correct him. Can you say Freudian slip? Out of the mouth comes the desires of the heart. Maybe Obama has been practicing taqiyya for the last twenty years. It should come as no surprise he was attracted to the conspiracy addled, race-baiting “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright when Wright doesn’t sound much different than black Muslim screwy Louis Farrakhan. It could simply be Obamessiah is neither Christian or Muslim but a liberal Democrat … the Democratic Party being one of the biggest quasi-religious cults in America.

Obama says he considered joining military when he left high school - a fact not included in either volume of his memoir…

Which one, Hamas or Hezbollah? Come on libs, Obama brings this stuff on himself since he’s also lied about the true ideological bent of both his father and his stepfather. Why can’t he be honest that he comes from a long line of Muslims? I thought he believed being a Muslim was an honorable thing yet he tries to downplay his fathers’ Muslim fundamentalism.

  • 21 Darthmeister // Sep 7, 2008 at 9:03 pm

Ooops, sorry Shelly, I didn’t see your post. I did find the videoclip at YouTube.

I really don’t think this is significant other than the fact Obama is whining about how evil neo-cons are calling him a Muslim … then he ends up calling himself a Muslim. Buwahahahahahaha! I guess he can curse himself in the mirror. The man can’t speak a coherent true thought without a teleprompter … and even then it ends up being a lie! I’m sure Hamas, Hezbollah, Putin, the Iranian government, al Qaeda and the rest of the nutbags in the world are just quaking in their boots at the thought of an Obama presidency. Wait a minute, they’ve all have endorsed him! I kid you not.

It is interesting how radical terrorist both here and abroad really like and endorse Barack Obama. Let those with ears hear and eyes see.

Short excerpt from over at “Hot Air” blog:

No details on this yet, but Drudge has a headline up stating that MS-NBC has dumped both Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews from its “anchor chair”. David Gregory will take over the political duties and apparently also the anchor spot, at least if Drudge has this correct.

If this is true, what happened? Olbermann has been an embarrassment for years, and Matthews has hardly hidden his “thrill up his leg” for Barack Obama for the last few months. Did NBC finally just get tired of these two credibility killers?

Goes on to say they’ll still be doing other stuff - just out of politics. Seems Olbermann has a $4M a year contract for 4 years (doesn’t compare very well with Rush’s $50M a year for 8 years).

    Now for Vieira and Lauer……

Been an interesting day. I watched PBS round table today and one of Obama’s Chicago Tribune crony got stuck with the question about Obama’s executive experience. The best he could come up with was Obama is running a campaign right now. Pardon me, but aren’t all the presidential candidates running a campaign?

That reminds me a lot of the book Tom Sawyer when Huck and Tom hid out on the island. The kids all thought they were dead. One little boy related that Tom once beat him up which did not impress the others because in Mark Twain’s narrative, “They all could say that.”

Every where we turn these days we hear the same thing. “The bloom has fallen off Obama’s rose.” As most pundits will admit, the black vote will go to the liberals like it always does. The undecided vote is mostly white males and soccer moms. White males. Soccer moms. If they rejected Biden in the primaries and Obama has to actually start answering questions then the Gallop poll which shows John McCain ahead by 10 percentage points is likely going to only get better.

  • 24 gafisher // Sep 8, 2008 at 6:25 am

Fred Re#22: It appears that even the unbiased journalists at NBC thought Matthews and Olberman (and apparently others at MSNBC) were so blatently biased that they brought down their coworkers’ and the network’s reputation for objectivity. The two fired anchors will still show up as analysts but for now they’ll be off the anchor desk.

A rising tide lifts all boats; a turning tide seems to be straightening them up.

  • 25 gafisher // Sep 8, 2008 at 6:47 am

Re#18: “… the gas can be recycled, blended with propane for a new hybrid fuel for home heating.

Perhaps the team which redesigned the Obama President’s Seal can redo the Medal of Freedom to reflect the service of those who have contributed the most gas. I’d kinda like to see Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi and the rest officially recognized as “Has Beans”.

  • 26 Darthmeister // Sep 8, 2008 at 7:33 am

Mack, generally it’s true that candidates to “run a campaign”. However, there is no evidence that suggests Obambi is really running is campaign. He appears far too busy reading teleprompters in front of adoring crowds throwing down palm leaves before he ascends to heaven.

It’s my considered opinion Obambi is little more than a Soros sockpuppet and there are any number of handlers and sycophants who are actually running the campaign.

And given how he’s been all over the map by flip-flopping on issues and sometimes even holding to opposing views at the same time, it does appear there are some Beltway Democrats in his campaign who are STRONLGY advising him how he should stand on issues in hopes of snowing swing voters now that he’s locked up the far left moonbats in the Demoncrat Party.

The slick snake oil salesman we see today in Obambi appears to be a far cry from the less complicated black leftist that he used to be before exploding upon the national scene.
