RNC 2008 Video: Palin’s International Experience

by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 10 Comments

(Minneapolis Convention Center) — Sunday night Scott Ott, editor of ScrappleFace.com, captured on video a chat about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s international experience between Washington delegate Dullain Erlich and synidicated radio talkshow host Michael Koolidge.

Mr. Ott, packing the high-tech Flip Video camera, periodically intervened with his own incisive questions.

Scott! You are hilarious, and the poor women is much to serious for you. I wouldn’t call her humorless but she is much to serious for you.

So much for trying to outwit the “awaiting moderation” gremlin. ;-)

I’ve been to Alaska. We traveled the Trans Continental Highway in our 1960 something Toyota Land Cruiser in 1978. Best trip I ever took, though a little rugged in places. All these many years later I curse myself for not having a Nikon with me.

I had one (Nikormat) but when we got married (curses) I sold my first Nikon. When I became a single gypsy-like woman I once again picked up another Nikon which has followed me for the last 18 years. But I never got back to Alaska, just the Montana Rockies.

Now my Nikon is getting tired. Digital is in my future. I say all of that to say Alaska is beautiful, but has long dark winters.

I also posted this on the previous thread:

I’m sorry Scott, I didn’t realize that I was using a “delete-able” word, since it’s been posted here before. I truly was keeping it “clean,” or at least I thought so. :-)

Fred Thompson on the Patriot Post:

“Now our opponents tell you not to worry about their tax increases. They tell you they are not going to tax your family. No, they’re just going to tax ‘businesses.’ So unless you buy something from a ‘business,’ like groceries or clothes or gasoline… or unless you get a paycheck from a big or a small ‘business,’ don’t worry… it’s not going to affect you. They say they are not going to take any water out of your side of the bucket, just the ‘other’ side of the bucket! That’s their idea of tax reform.”

I still would have preferred a President named Fred.

    IN GOD WE TRUST

Yeah, Fred, but we mustn’t be too demanding. Let’s thank God that we have what we have, and do what we can to improve our position in the future.

Delegate Erlich dares to imply the mainstream media doesn’t understand Alaska?!? What about that documentary NBC showed about the plight of penguins there?

You are such a tease, Scott.

It’s great to hear from people who actually know the achievements and capability of Governor Palin.
