(2008-08-09) — Just hours after news broke that Democrat presidential hopeful Barack Obama had granted former President Bill Clinton a speaking role at the party’s convention in Denver this month, an alleged draft of Mr. Clinton’s speech has leaked to the news media.
Evidently a work-in-progress, the Clinton manuscript calls Sen. Obama “one of the most [adjective] candidates to arise in recent memory.”
“Barack Obama is certainly [mild superlative] qualified to serve as president,” Mr. Clinton will reportedly tell the Democrat faithful, “regardless of what Hillary and I said when she was running against him in the primaries. After all, he’s more than 35-years-old, and it’s pretty likely that he’s a U.S. citizen by birth. Constitutionally, that’s all you need.”
Mr. Clinton will note that he’s “personally looking forward to President Obama’s administration, for a term not to exceed four years. After all, 48 months is long enough to make your little statement about racial equality. Then we can get Hillary in there, while she still has enough estrogen to be considered the first woman president.”
‘The man from Hope, Arkansas’ will pay tribute to the candidate of ‘hope and change’ as someone who “knows how to say the things we want to hear in a way that makes us forget our selfish needs and focus on his.”
“While my wife may have deep knowledge about policy, and extensive experience working with leaders at the national and global level, Barack Obama is even more impressive because he’s found a way to secure his party’s nomination while avoiding the drudgery of actual work, and the toil of learning. Ain’t that the American dream?”

I’m also pretty sure that Mr. Clinton will remind Obama that he needs to be monogamous and faithful to his one true love. Certainly that’s been the model for Clinton’s life so far.

2008 will be a year not soon forgotten in the annals of Denver history.
I doubt that the Clinton’s have taken a sabbatical and their true desire is to become queen and king of Amerika. Why not, everyone is trying to be so European nowadays.

Bernie Mac has unexpectedly passed away. A funny man, ribald entertainer and definitely politically incorrect. I really enjoyed his television “Bernie Mac Show”.
One of his funniest lines occurred early in the show’s run when Bernie was trying to buck up his young son to go on the offensive and protect himself when accosted by the school bully. After his son walked away with a determined look on his face, Bernie looks squarely in the camera with a knowing look and sadly opines, “There’s a dead boy walkin’ right there.”
Though at times a controversial man (the latest being when he tweaked some snooty PC noses at an Obamessiah fund raiser) Bernie had talked openly of his faith in Jesus Christ. Rest in peace, Bernie.

For some reason, I can’t help wondering just what kind of hold The Hill & Bill Show has on the Democrat Party. The Sax Man wields his instrument like an ax. And does so with apparent impunity; under a cloak of invisibility, even. Does he give command performances, or what? I know, it sounds weird but that’s because it is, is, is.
If Shakespeare, Christie, Vonnegut, Hemmingway, King, le Carré and Ott were to put their heads together, they could never come up with so convoluted a mish-mash of sub-sub-plot lines. Seriously. I’m going to call Mr. Spade—no point in trying call Mr. Archer.

I think Edwards should be deported. He should be doomed to float the oceans of Earth, never to sight land, forced to cannibalize, first the digits, then the limbs of the self he so dearly loves. I can’t help it. I feel both Americas have been, like, grossly spat upon.

ELECTION 2008
2 campaigns seek ‘truth’ about Obama’s birth
Eligibility for presidency hinges on American citizenship

Israel Insider is reporting that analysts working separately have determined the birth certificate posted on the Daily Kos website and later on Sen. Barack Obama’s “Fight the Smears” campaign website is fraudulent, and now two different actions have been launched to try and obtain the truth about the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee’s birth.
The Israel Insider report said the two analysts it interviewed both have been “able to independently discern the name ‘Maya Kassandra Soetoro’ from artifacts left behind in the process of forging a new fake document for Barack from an image of Maya’s original document.” Maya is Obama’s younger half-sister.

MajorDomo, the Donk Party is a veritable circus … or freak show. Hopefully they’ll stick to their
gunswhips and continue pandering to the eco-fascists on the drilling issue. That would put them out of step with about 78% of the American people who understand conserving energy and developing alternative fuels won’t do enough to meet the energy needs of Americans in the next five to eight years.Conservatives and Republicans need to hammer the Donks on this issue for the next three months since it’s clear everyone is getting tired of $4/gallon gas due to tight oil supplies and just wait until people begin getting their home heating bills, but by then it may be too late and the Reid/Pelosi/Obamessiah cabal will be riding roughshod over every American’s wallet while pandering to the extreme left of their party. The Republicans ought to be pointing out that the higher energy cost brought about by the Democrats’ unwillingness to exploit known deposits of oil within American borders disproportionately affect the poor and minorities. It would also be helpful to point out that the membership of eco-fascist groups like the Sierra Club are overwhelmingly well-heeled white folk who can easily afford to pay $5/gallon for gas or their home heating bills so they really don’t care how their reckless policies may affect lower income people.

“The world is shifting to a globalized structure. The infrastructure of world governance is nearly complete. Proclamations of a “New World Order” herald the emergence of a new global order of nations, once sovereign but now interlocked with international organizations and bound by allegiance to the world state. Is this the natural trend of governance and human affairs, as some would say, or a deliberate, systematic, scientific attempt by the elite of the world to forge a new global order?”

RP #20 - “Our First-Black-Presidentâ„¢ can’t get no R-E-S-P-E-C-T !”
I posted on this a few days ago but this excerpt is from a different link.
Joel A. Rogers and Dr. Auset Bakhufu have both written books documenting that at least five former presidents of the United States had Negro people among their ancestors. If one considers the fact that European men far outnumbered European women during the founding of this country, and that the rape and impregnation of an African female slave was not considered a crime, it is even more surprising that these two authors could not document Negro ancestors among an ever larger number of former presidents. The president’s names include Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding, and Calvin Coolidge. So that would put B.O. as the sixth (or later) president who can/could claim some degree of negro ancestry.
(dogpile or google “5 prior presidents with negro ancestry” you’ll get a whole slew of links)

Priceless:
A man walked into a very high-tech bar. As he sat down on a stool, he noticed that the bartender was a robot.
The robot clicked to attention and asked, “Sir, what will you have?”
The man thought a moment, then replied, “A martini, please”.
The robot clicked a couple of times and mixed the best martini the man had ever had.
The robot then asked, “Sir, what is your
IQ?”
The man answered, “Oh, about 164.”
The robot then proceeded to discuss the theory of relativity, inter-stellar space travel, the latest medical breakthroughs, etc.
The man was most impressed. He left the bar, but thought he would try a
different tactic. He returned and took a seat.
Again, the robot clicked and asked what he would have.
“A martini, please.”
Again it was superb.
The robot again asked, “What is your IQ, sir?”
This time the man answered, “Oh, about 100″.
So the robot started discussing NASCAR racing, bass fishing and what to expect the Steelers to do this weekend.
The guy had to try it one more time. So he left, returned and took a stool . . . Again a martini, and the question “What is your IQ?”
This time the man drawled out “Uh . . . ’bout 50.”
The robot clicked, then leaned close and very slowly asked,
“A-r-e y-o-u-r p-e-o-p-l-e r-e-a-l-l-y g-o-i-n-g t-o n-o-m-i-n-a-t-e O-b-a-m-a?”

Now however since last Friday the bad friction sores where I sit have gotten worse (much worse) due I think to the RoHo seat cushion in my wheelchair recently being inflated too firmly.

The spam/smut/whatnot filter does not attempt to discern the motives of the commenter; rather, it seeks to insulate the large-but-not-unlimited blog database from becoming engorged with certain criteria (and, thankfully, so too the comment reader is rescued from debilitating, retina-searing pixel-rays).
It can only discern patterns, if I’m not mistaken, which it filters through a list of patterns (or vice versa) (or both), maybe using Regular Expressions or some such gizmo [not to mention comparisons to various lists of known unsavory locations].
Suppose an aforementioned pattern-match returns a 1 as it gloms a comment which then gets snagged by the Criteria Lookout Gizmo (CLG); incapable of making another move, the CLG must then patiently await The Administrator[Scott Ott]’s Click of Judgement as to whether or not the “pattern” is given the light of day.
Or something like that.
Anyway, don’t take it personal.

[...]
55 Buster // Aug 20, 2008 at 4:13 pm
Well, it really happened. Those unbelievably narcissistic Clintons have managed to hijack the 2008 Democratic Convention and boot Senator Barack Obama off his own stage. The 2008 Clinton Convention will be a slick tribute to Bill and Hillary Clinton, professionally choreographed by their Hollywood friends. Could it be any more obvious? These two grifters really do want Senator Obama to lose and are using the 2008 Convention as the opening salvo for Hillary’s 2012 campaign.
If that’s not creepy enough, they want all of Senator Obama’s supporters to donate money to help Hillary pay off her campaign debt.
Don’t do it!
If you really want to make a donation to someone, make it to me, CamryGuy, so I can put new tires on my ‘99 Camry and have the front end repaired (a truck backed into it in a parking lot).
The Clintons are multi-millionaires and can pay off their own debts. Bill gets hundreds of thousands of dollars per speech, plus they can write books faster than you and I can read them. They collect multimillion dollar advances before they even write them. You can bet four or five dollars per gallon for gasoline doesn’t faze them a bit.
Yours truly is not a multi-millionaire or even a thousandaire. And when it gets close to the end of the month, I am lucky if to have a couple of 20 dollar bills in my wallet. Like a lot of Americans, my money goes to the oil and pharmaceutical companies.
I drive a ten year-old Toyota Camry. One week after cancelling the collision on my Camry, I parked it in a mall parking lot. While I was in the mall a truck backed into it, doing $1,600 worth of damage. Did the truck driver write his name and phone number on a slip of paper and slip it under my windshield wiper? No.
So while my ten year-old Camry sits crying in the garage with a smashed in front end, multimillionaire Hillary Clinton is asking regular folks to send ten and twenty dollar bills to her so she can pay off her campaign debts.
Tell Hillary that, instead of sending a contribution to her, you have instead sent a contribution to me, CamryGuy.
I will be grateful and my Camry will be grateful. You may donate any amount, using your credit card, using the Pay Pal button below. Pay Pal will securely handle your transaction even if you do not have an account with them.
Meanwhile, Hillary can write another book and Bill can make a few dozen public appearances at $100,000 each.

I think at the end of the day Clinton was a great president for US, even with all his shortcomings in place. And that's not just my opnion, look what famous peers said about Bill Clinton:
