Hillary Clinton Decries Lack of Blacks in Fairy Tales

by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 48 Comments · · Print This Story Print This Story

(2008-01-12) — As former President Bill Clinton phoned the Rev. Al Sharpton to explain why he has described Sen. Barack Obama’s opposition to the Iraq War as a “fairy tale“, his wife’s presidential campaign moved quickly to capitalize on his remarks.

Sen. Clinton will reportedly hold a news conference next week to decry the lack of African-American characters in fairy tales, and note that her husband was “doing what he could to advance Civil Rights in this arena.”

“Each night, as American children go to bed,” Sen. Clinton will reportedly say, “they hear fantastic tales from which blacks are almost entirely absent. African-American children are made to feel that there’s no place for them in imaginary society. While caucasian children live in blissful ignorance, in a fantasy world that’s lilly, or should I say snow, white.”

Sen. Clinton will promise that, when elected president, she will issue an executive order directing the National Endowment for the Arts to fund composition of fairy tales in which the percentage of “good” African-American characters matches the percentage of blacks in the general population.

She will then order the Department of Education to mandate the use of such “civil righteous fairy tales” in elementary public school curricula.

Ok, granted “Snow White ” wasn’t black ,but surely “Cinderella ” was. Disney will just have to redo all the Fairytale Movies. Mrs. Clinton can dub all the accents.

Besides, didn’t she read my B’rer Kerry stories back sometime ago. Well, that shows she is not in the loop

African-American children are made to feel that there’s no place for them in imaginary society.

I guess that the Dems will have to work harder at trotting out the race card more than every two or four election years then. After all, doesn’t the donkey party live in an imaginary society where the mass of Americans are downtrodden by The Man?

Far out! This is too good to be believed! Since the Liberals have long deemed “The Bible” to be nothing but an overly long ‘Fairy tale’. Then this ‘mandate’ will place them in a quandary. Besides “The Bible” is loaded throughout with Africans, from Sarah’s handmaiden through the Queen of Sheba and on and on.

The next thing ya know al Sharpton will demand more Hollyweird roles for black leprechauns. Is nothing sacred any more?

Maybe Bill Clinton could mend some fences by suggesting Barack Obama could reprise the role of Dumbo in a progressive Walt Disney live-action movie, “Dumbo and Dumboer”. It would also star sHrillary as his evil twin sister separated at birth … and twenty years!

But isn’t this what we’ve come to expect from Bill Clinton and his easy allusion to “fairy tales” since he still believes his presidency was Camelot II?

  • 10 prettyold // Jan 12, 2008 at 5:18 pm

Well, my Lilly’s aren’t very white ,more of a muckle-dunn color, and our snow today shades from grey to black. So the fairytales here in Wi, must be OK.

James, speaking of “made to feel”, did you read the article in the LA Times, decrying the economic situation of the downtrodden of America, like the poor woman who watched as her credit card balance rose to $40,000 (more than she makes in a year??? I’d be reporting stolen identity if it just rose while I watched - that is unless it rose after hitting Macy’s one too many times!! Sheesh.

Camojack, Lilly wouldn’t be a factor in the Hillary campaign since it is a pharmaceutial company, ie., evil.

I don’t know about Lilly’s drugs, but one of the more well known illegal drugs is cocaine, which incidentally,is white. Is this not just another example of Whitey’s abuse of the African-Americans ?

That sounds awfully white to me. I think we need to rethink whether or not we white skinned people should continue to breathe, we are the most responsible for ruining their climate too.
Carbon is a black substance though, maybe it would be racist to decrease our carbon footprint. We really need to look at our life practices much closer, teach ourselves to be good in every way. I think sHrillary needs to authorize a government study to help us become good.

If sHrillary gains enough momentum to appear to have the nomination wrapped up will she ask Obanana to be her veep? If the election is that close I can’t see him accepting the offer. Unless she is worried about him winning too much support I can’t see her asking him. So to me the theory that she will pick him for veep doesn’t work. I can see her pulling out all of the stops to take him out of the race,if that happens would he be much help for the ticket? Why would he accept it after she takes his legs out from under him?It may be a very strong ticket politically, but I can’t see it happening.

    Environmentalist lied, people died!

Black Irish? Basqueing in the circumstances of those who fled the potato famine and migrated to this fair land me lads and lasses? ‘Tis a blessing in disguise when misfortune drives a people to a land of blessing. Instead of cursing the darkness one would be wise to light a candle instead during such adversity.

But there are peoples who continue to hold grievances and paint themselves as perpetual victims despite living a far better life than their cousins who still live in the old country. And it will continue to be so two centuries from now as long as “progressive” Donks are allowed to mine this present race baiting for their own political gain. For a man to truly speak his mind is a dangerous thing in a land being slowly transformed by the self-righteous thuggery of liberal fascism.

It’s becoming evident that the old Democrat and Republican Parties have been replaced (except for the formal name change) Today there are two parties, leaving me with two choices, I can vote for America or I can vote for Socialism.

There is the American Conservative Party with two men competing for the Presidency

    1. Duncan Hunter
    2. Fred Thompson

and there is the United American Socialist Party (UASP) with eight men and one woman competing for the Presidency

    1. John McCain
    2. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Clinton
    3. Mike Huckabee
    4. Barak Hussein Obama
    5. Rudy Giuliani
    6. John Edwards

If we dispel (from our mind’s eye) the illustrations which accompanied most fairy tales-which have become so familiar over the centuries-race/racism is not an issue.

For further research, here is some of the documentation which the internationally renowned fairy tale scholar Jay Ward began to compile circa 1959.

Do nursery rhymes count as fairy tales? This could be evidence of a Mother Goose campaign:

Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard to get her poor dog a bone, but when she got there, the cupboard was bare…because GWB took away her job, but I am going to bring about change. Change I tell you!!!

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe. She had so many children she didn’t know what to do…and I, Hillary Clinton, am more for abortion than that ‘change’ guy and I’ll make sure she knows what to do!

Hot cross buns. Hot cross buns…now John Edwards…quit going negative on Hillary…

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall. Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. Oh look. Huckabee’s in a pile and Fred Thompson pushed him off!

As I was going to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives…now Huckabee…that is really tacky, negative campaigning against Mitt…

From what I’ve been reading and hearing, the leaders of the pro- U.A.S.R. (United American Socialist Republics) street-gang. aka Teddy, Nancy, Harry and others of their ilk, are not going to be satisfied with a Canada type socialism or a Sweden/Denmark Socialism, no they’re committed to the whole enchilada. They wish to emulate Castro’s Cuban and Chavez’s Venezuelan interpretation of the religion of Vladimir Ilich Lenin, Karl (Heinrich) Marx and Josif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili aka Joseph Stalin.

It’s pretty obvious that for our own homegrown U,A.S.R. street gang of malcontents to succeed is for american Conservatives to continue sucking their thumbs all the while mumbling around their thumb, “Duh - Isn’t anybody going to do anything?”

It’s been said, rightly enough, that if America is ever defeated it will be because we nurtured at home what we defeated overseas. A coup d’état? It probably would have already happened but for the fact that to avoid offending their Muslim buddies, they’re going to have to throw all their homosexual buddies under the train and they’re not quite ready to do that.

The radical Muslims will settle for nothing less than their beheading. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was extremely accurate when he said that there are no homosexuals in Iran. What he failed to add is the reason for their absence is that all homosexuals are executed.

Anyone who thinks that “It can’t happen here!” believes that lie of satan only if he’s been caught in a “Rip-Van-Winkle” sleep warp for the last twenty years. It not only can happen here - it IS happening here! Allow the liberals to win the White House in November and regretfully you, your family and your grandchildren will pay the price for your thumb sucking.

“… and if he doesn’t get the nomination, stay home from the polls in droves.”

THAT is (pardon the expression) DUMB. We hear people saying a vote for this or that candidate is a “wasted vote.” That is a dangerous lie; the only truly wasted vote is the one which is not cast.

“Government of the people by the people” *demands* participation. Elections in a real Democracy do not exist to “send a message.” You can do all of that you like during the campaigns (well, at least until McCain-Feingold-Thompson kicks in) but once the nominations are set, it is the DUTY of every eligible voter to exercise the most sacred and important responsibility of citizenship and _VOTE_. To sit and pout because your own favorite was passed by is as serious a dereliction of duty as a soldier falling asleep at his post. More serious, in many ways, for it is done by choice, treason in any other setting.
