Rudy’s Ex-Wives Demand Cabinet Visitation Rights

by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 25 Comments

(2007-03-30) — Upon hearing that Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani would permit his wife to sit in on White House cabinet meetings, attorneys for the former New York mayor’s two previous wives immediately filed suit demanding separate but equal cabinet visitation rights.

In a prerecorded TV interview with Barbara Walters scheduled to air Friday night, Mr. Giuliani said he would not only permit Mrs. Giuliani to join the gatherings of his departmental chiefs, but he may let her wield the veto stamp from time to time, and even handle his personal phone calls with presidents and prime ministers of “second-tier allied nations.”

Ex-wives Regina Peruggi and Donna Hanover filed a joint lawsuit contending that they're “in part responsible for making Mr. Giuliani the presidential timber that he is today, and as such should be entitled to any benefits and emoluments that come with such office, including, but not limited to, attendance at meetings with famous people, good seats at theatrical and sporting events and the right to be addressed as the Would-Be First Lady.”

    God Bless America

I think Guiliani has committed a faux pas with this one-far too reminiscent of the Clinton/Clinton debacle.

  • 4 boberinyetagain // Mar 30, 2007 at 4:14 pm

    That is an odd concept.

Scott, shouldn’t that read “ex first lady” rather than “would be”? Either way, funny stuff as always.

I guess he showed me, Republicans can be silly too!

This could provoke a cat fight. What if Regina likes cherry cabinets, but Donna prefers pickled oak?

I thought I heard recently that Rudy was on his 4th marriage… But anyway, no matter how many ex-wives he has, it’s scary to think that we’ll have another co-presidency

Ah, the joys of serial monogamy.

Will his present wife be allowed to veto his past wives?

  • 8 boberinyetagain // Mar 30, 2007 at 4:53 pm

    Family values anyone?

  • 9 Darthmeister // Mar 30, 2007 at 4:55 pm

    woodnwheel,

I believe the story was that Rudy was her third husband not her second as has long been believed (including Rudy himself!). Cummulative they both have to ways to go to catch either Elizabeth Taylor or Mickey Rooney. I think there’s something in Hollyweird’s water.

bober, if the libs continue down the slipperly slope of altering the western tradition of marriage being between one man and one woman, we may one day hear, “Polygamy is a family value.” Maybe that’s preferable to rampant single motherhood, eh? Oh what a twisted world … !

This could be really awkward. And can you imagine if one of the formers Mrs. G’s shows up wearing the same dress as the current Mrs. G?

Personally, I’d rather see a guy/gal get a divorce and remarry instead of cheat/practice adultery! (Sometimes it just takes a few tries to get it right!)

ps. I thought the bottom feeders had left us for good…guess that was just a tease.

Ah yes, Rudy Giuliani -the Rudester - conservative values - I don’t think so.

Hide the White House china—and who gets to sleep in the Lincoln bedroom

Rudy is too much like the Democrats in my opinion. I like his toughness in the war on terror though.

That is why I think President Fred Thompson should make Rudy his Secretary of Defense!

Rudy ain’t the right guy. But will the right guy step forward ? Can the right guy get nominated and elected ? Can the right guy work with or outmaneuver the moonbats that are currently in control of the political/media chaos ?
In 1991 we had the first gulf war, we quit before the job was done, what didi it get us ? The libs and the media were feeling bad that we were kicking Saddman’s tush and it led to us being nice again. Our enemies get emboldened every time we fail to act, or fail to follow up on our actions, why are we so hellbent on our own demise ?
Let’s just all stick our heads a little deeper in the sand, maybe we will get down far enough to get to know some powerful and influential political figures. Maybe some dimmercrat presidential candidates, I still think they are scared of having to deal with the Iraq war, force Bush out and blame all of the chaos that follows on having gone to war when it was all wrong and based on a bunch of lies, blah, blah,blah…..all they know how to do is run their mouths, their plan is diplomacy and showing how nice we are, and giving the terrorists everything they ever want, our nation not excluded.
Listen folks, we are in big trouble here and if things continue as they are we may not even get to elect another president, Osama might just be measuring the White House windows for drapes.

Congressperson Stephanie Herseth (D-SD) is trying to may political hay because Senator Thune voted against that alledged funding bill that contained drought relief for South Dakota farmers and ranchers. Her little blurbs on the news sound like she is only trying to score political points, the future of our country are of no concern, so long as the dummocrats are making it happen, good or bad.

Had to vent a little, or explode, goodnight y’all.

OK, all I wanna know is this: who gets custody of the Surgeon General?

  • 21 Darthmeister // Mar 30, 2007 at 11:47 pm

I think Rudy’s wife ought to get her own cabinets, preferably something in maple with walnut veneer. She can afford it.

Popular Mechanics responds to Rosie O’Donnell’s moonbattery regarding the collapse of the Twin Towers and building #7.

Which reminds me of one of my favorite bumberstickers: Guns kill people like spoons made Rosie O’Donnell fat.

    Marc Danzinger:

I’m a liberal Democrat (pro-gay marriage, pro-choice, pro-progressive taxation, pro-equal rights, pro-environmental regulation, pro-public schools) who supported and supports the war in Iraq. As I tell my liberal friends “Did I miss the part where it was progressive not to fight medieval religious fascists?”

I’ve been waiting for four years for the White House to start really explaining the war to the American people, and to do anything sensible at all to maintain the political capital necessary to keep America in the fight - to keep us from withdrawing because the war is too messy, or too long, or just plain makes us feel bad.

During that time I was blogging about the war and issues around it at Winds of Change.NET, felt I was doing my part, and hoped that the leadership of the country would wake up and realize that public support for hard things - like wars - must be earned and maintained.

I’ve given up, and decided that it’s up to each of us to start doing more. To that end, I’ve decided to start a PAC that will offer support to Congressional candidates of either party who support a foreign policy that doesn’t involve wishing problems away.

Darth: When I heard Rosie say, “For the first time in history, fire melted steel!”, I thought, what a dumb#@%$!

I worked 25 years as a welder/burner for the railroad MELTING half inch thick metal with a flame from my torch! Metal actually has a low melting point, and only needs to get hot to bend and collapse.

This moron does NOT take into account the jetfuel, paper and other materials, that make the “fire” hotter than anything she can imagine.

I wonder has she never seen a car that has been on fire?

Nevermind, this fool, (Rosie—AND ANYONE who still listens to her), will NEVER listen to reason!

P.S. If you haven’t been watching Hannity and Colmes, it is quite a hoot to watch when they talk about Rosie.

At the bottom right of the screen, they have a picture of Rosie with her mouth opening and closing with fumes, (or smoke), pouring out of her head!
