WMD Found Hanging from Rope in Iraq

by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 33 Comments · · Print This Story Print This Story

(2006-12-30) — The Pentagon announced this morning that a weapon of mass destruction (WMD) was found today in Baghdad, hanging from a rope on a platform.

“This particular WMD,” a Pentagon spokesman said, “is known to have killed thousands of Iraqis, as well as Iranians, Kuwaitis and some U.S. troops.”

The weapon is described as “a nasty, corrosive agent which kills indiscriminately and without warning.”

“A lot of folks — including Hans Blix, the United Nations and the Democrats — said there were no WMD in Iraq,” the Pentagon source said. “Perhaps they were just looking in all the wrong places.”

According to Iraqi government sources, the WMD has been contained, neutralized and prepared for burial.

To bad Hussein’s middle name wasn’t “Chad”. Now that would hold some cosmic significance.

The next thing we’ll hear the DemDonks complaining about is how it was Halliburton that supplied the “no contract” rope and that this was a stunt created by Rove and Bu$Hitler to distract the AmeriKKKan people from the 3000th death of an American soldier in Iraq, a number which surpasses the 2974 who died on 9/11 - not that there is ANY connection between 9/11 and Iraq mind you.

How about a new Verizon wireless commercial?

Imagine a three way screen with, GWB talking to, a cell phone being held up to Saddam’s ear on the gallows in panel two, and the third panel showing Ahmahdinejad, with Bush saying, “Can you hear me now?”

Remember how the looney left keeps saying we, (on the right), are imposing our beliefs and values on the Iraqi people, and we should let them decide things for themselves?

I guess that doesn’t pertain to them when they deride them, (Iraqi people), for putting Saddam to death, as so many left wing hypocrites tried to stop Iraq from putting this butcher to death.

Iraqi justice has assured that the Butcher of Baghdad has no further possibility of cutting and running.

Meanwhile Saddam’s apologists in the media and on the Left are at the end of their own ropes, trying to spin the news of the tyrant’s death as further evidence of American imperialist hegemony. For them, no noose would have been good news. It’s too bad that their agendas are as twisted as any dictators’ rationales and behaviors.

Sources close to the execution claim that the fearful Saddam’s last words were a defiant chorus of “Twist and Shout”. However, those most grievously affected by the despot’s butchery were inclined to raise the cries of “Alluha Akbar” (sp?) for the definitive end to Hussein’s reign of terror.

Meanwhile, in another part of the Islamic world …

Lawyer Malik Imtiaz Sawar seems a most unlikely person to attract death threats. A small, softly spoken, friendly man, the impression he gives is above all one of consideration.
What has earned him the death threats is his appearance in court on behalf of Lina Joy, a case that has become a battleground of Malaysian political and cultural identity, and of freedom of religion.

    Saddam Hussein is still dead….

Unfortunately the best video I’ve located so far stops short of showing the actual moment the floor drops away. If I can get my hands on the whole thing I’ll post it and if I find a link to it…

Defiant to the end, Saddam’s last words were an amateur rendition of Roger Miller’s “Dang Me.” The last words he heard were the hangman’s advice “Don’t quit your day job, pal.”

    Maggie, how about dope-on-a-rope?

I bet more than a few liberals had misty eyes thinking about the “injustice” perpetrated upon Hussein by evil AmeriKKKa and their puppet government in Iraq.

  • 23 mig // Dec 31, 2006 at 8:41 am

    Hang ‘em high!
Justice is the one thing that should never be swayed. Trendy opinions at a cocktail party in Manhattan or Hollywood have no place anywhere. The one thing liberals can count on is a safe haven provided by the US Military.

I watched the Saddam Video. One of his lawyers threw in a red challenge flag at the last moment, but not before they got the snap off.

    Seems a shame.

Saddam has hired a new lawyer, Johnnie Cocheran stated at a hades new conference, “The rope didn’t fit, and now it is too late to acquit!”

Mr. Cocheran is still trying to get a new trial through his representative Miss Cleo.
