(2002-09-26) — A new study provides further evidence that parents are the least qualified to rear their own children, according to the National Education Association (NEA). The research found that most teenagers who have sex do it for the first time in their own homes.
To help prevent teen pregnancy and sexually-transmitted disease, the NEA called for “24/7 public schooling.”
“After-school programs are not enough,” a spokesman said. “These kids need to be in school all the time. We need an army of teachers on duty round-the-clock to protect them. Parents are not equipped for the job. Most don’t even have masters degrees. When these kids are under professional teacher care, you can be sure that they’ll all receive detailed sex education, ample supplies of condoms and confidential abortion services.”
Driven by NEA lobbyists, Senate Democrats will introduce a bill next week calling for the wholesale adoption of every child by the Federal government. Under the bill, no child will be left behind.
