Headline: Bush to Boost Spending on GOP Spinal Research Today while I was at work wasn't overly busy so I spent so I spent some time visiting Scrapple. In the course of events one of the trolls questioned whether I should be posting at all in that I was at work. The individual went on to post my home zip code with the subtle threat that he was going to come to my work and discuss it with the people I report to. The only way I know of that this person could get my home address is if he hacked into my computer. we have been dealing with a persistent virus here at home that I am told has some sort of spy ware attached to it. It concerns me that any individual would go to that much effort just to make trouble for some one they but heads with on a blog. I already sat down and told my boss about it, but frankly I am very angry right now that anyone would even consider making the threat. This is the type of person we are dealing with. For those who missed the exchange Scott deleted my personal information at my request. But there is nothing stopping this person from posting my private information some where else. the left always has to silence their critics when they can no longer take them on in honest debate. John Kerry tried that with the Swift Boat veterans and now I have some one I don't know attacking me and threatening me on a web site. I am angry right now. I will be cleaning the guns tonight and will unfortunately have to load my shotgun in case some unwanted visitor shows up with bad intentions. I am very angry and I hope you folks won't take it personally if you don't hear from me for awhile. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-23 19:35:02 Top |

Headline: Bush to Boost Spending on GOP Spinal Research Faux Terri, Quinto, etc, apparently hasn’t been paying attention. I post from work with the full knowledge and consent of my employer. As I don’t answer to trolls but do answer to not one boss but by last count 4 separate departments as well as corporate I think it wise to ensure I have such consent. As far as not making it out of the area code, I have been around the world. I spent 4 separate tours overseas and lived in California for 6 years before moving home. I don’t appreciate the insinuation. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-23 15:25:14 Top |
Headline: Bush to Boost Spending on GOP Spinal Research I noted the multi named troll who may just have outed himself. Using several names including mine he mentioned a debate we had some time ago about reports of mountain lions AKA cougars in Iowa. The fact that they have been reported seemed to have amused the troll last year and has exposed the person now. I remember being annoyed that this person would argue authenticity of events he had neither knowledge of nor ability to disprove. His only argument was that he didn’t believe it. Either this person is Ranbutan, AKA David Kennedy, liberal employee of the United States Department of State, or some one who followed Mr. Kennedy’s diatribe last summer. I have addressed the issue he also presented by his fake e-mail address he used when he posted under my name. I won’t bother doing it again. It shows me what sort of coward I am dealing with in that this person would hide behind multiple names while adding nothing to any of the debates that take place here. So tell us Ranbutan, how do you like your new boss? Posted by Mack on 2005-02-23 13:47:19 Top |

Headline: Bush to Boost Spending on GOP Spinal Research It’s hard to say what they should fix first. But the budget would be the logical way to start. After all, if there is no money for Planned Parenthood they can’t keep their baby murder factories open. If they refuse to fund stupid projects such as tunnel systems under Boston Harbor that cost tax payers 3 million dollars a day and have since Kennedy led the charge to overturn President Reagan’s veto of the project, Kennedy would actually have to do something for the voters to keep his office. We don’t need a “rain forest” in Iowa but we’re going to get one under a dome in Cedar Rapids whether we want it or not. Schools are given billions to teach computers to kids who haven’t been taught to read, who have to buy calculators because they haven’t been taught to add and subtract, and issued condoms because they haven’t been taught to behave. Where should we start? I think they could install electric shock devices in their chairs attached to polygraphs when they speak. After a jolt or two the elected representatives would start to think more clearly about how they represent. Now after this behavior modification therapy has shown results we surgically implant metal rods into their backs to straighten their spines. The metal would readily conduct the electricity from the attached polygraph monitors and would zap the silly right out of them each time they tried to lie. Soon we would see one of two results. Silent politicians or truthful politicians. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-23 11:39:33 Top |

Headline: Bush to Boost Spending on GOP Spinal Research I think the Democrats are afflicted by different neurological disorders. Along with foot in mouth disease, they seem to suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder in their attempts to oppose “anything Bush,” many of them display various forms of chemical dependency, alcohol abuse, amnesia in forgetting that their own representatives have made the same arguments that the Republicans are making now and even they themselves had made during the previous administration, as well as certain cosmetic poisonings which cause their faces to resemble mannequins. Integrity transplants should replace Viagra and Botox. Should the President use this funding only to benefit the Republicans? Clearly the Democrats are desperate for treatment which may if successful restore some form of dignity to their ranks, improve the quality of their lives, and restore their lost common sense. Republicans should seek something to restore testicular function by borrowing their “anatomy” back from the lobbyists and decide to do what the people elected them to do. I recommend intravenous injections of common sense. Once the patient has stabilized a surgical implant of “Justice” would do wonders to restore function. Unfortunately this procedure was bodily rejected by numerous liberal judges and college professors and administrators as well as members of the press Posted by Mack on 2005-02-23 08:45:35 Top |
Headline: Terri Schiavo Diet Book Tops NYT Bestseller List It took a little longer than I expected, but the faux Terri has now started insulting the Great Scott’s blog on which it posts its drivel. It this is the sure first sign that it has lost its ability to further argue. Truth. Tell the truth faux Terri troll thing. Every court precedent which degrades the value of human life is a victory to the left. Serial killers enjoy the thrill and the power they feel over their victims. The pro baby murder crowd are no different. They can’t create any thing so being able to kill at will is power to them. That is what this them. Terri is just there. Her scum bag husband wants the money. The left just want the thrill of being able to watch as some one else is killed. They use the court as a weapon and by their acts people die. I suppose that is why they defend convicted murderers. Kindred spirits aside, I think they like the power of the courts and the thrill that comes from giving life to evil while taking life from the innocent. Liberals are all the same. It is easy to hurt, to kill, to destroy. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-23 07:04:08 Top |
Headline: Terri Schiavo Diet Book Tops NYT Bestseller List Faux Terri, what do you know about killing? Your lame attempt to dodge the issue is laughable. But killing is easy. It is also rather permanent. Creating and sustaining life? That takes effort. I have said before that even stupid animals can breed. That is why God made sex feel good. But only God can create life. Any fool can kill, in this case it is as simple as turning the other way and letting this person die a slow death. I would think it matters little to the troll population in that they slaughter unborn babies with less consideration than they do cattle. Even trees have more value than humans do when it comes to trolls and human life. What is one more person to further the legal argument that human life is worthless? Vindictive? No, just articulate and very accurate in our argument. You should soon be calling us other names as you claim us too stupid to continue. This is the sign that you have lost. Most trolls exibit this trait also just before pouting back to the bridge. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-22 19:11:05 Top |

Headline: Terri Schiavo Diet Book Tops NYT Bestseller List ozymandias, I refer not only to your reference, but to the situation in general. I refer to the dehumanization the left has imposed on the world while claiming some right to choose life or death for other people. That sums up their arrogance in that they all think they can better live everyone's life even choosing when others can die. They are really a bunch of bottom feeders posing as game fish aren't they. Headline: Terri Schiavo Diet Book Tops NYT Bestseller List Liberals or socialists are all the same; their transparent lack of concern for human life is a staple in everything they do. I watched them chant and candlelight vigil for Ted Bundy’s life the night Florida executed him. The same people ignored the fact that he brutally raped and murdered women in 6 states and at least one 13 year old girl. The same people wear shirts that say “I had an abortion” and claim their right to promiscuity is more valid than a child’s right to live. Now when once again a helpless person’s life is at stake they take the side of the person who wants to kill her. Yet this troll and many others have the nerve to faux pray that conservatives come to our senses? “Woe be it unto them that call good evil and evil good.” Liberals are all the same. They think the convenience of one person is more important than the life of another. Using that logic, John Gotti should never have done time for having Paul Costelano killed. After all, “Big Paul” was the aging Boss of the Gambino crime family and he was inconveniently still running the mob which inconvenienced Gotten. I don’t see any difference. Headline: Terri Schiavo Diet Book Tops NYT Bestseller List Hitler’s “final solution” started out under the guise of euthanasia. Mercy killing the sick and retarded, the mentally ill, the dregs of society that could not function at a level the Nazis felt made them productive. Some one should read history before they start playing God and choosing to end the lives of others who seem to be unable to function. As for you Mr. Gannon, executing convicted murderers whose crimes were particularly brutal is a far cry from letting someone who committed no crime starve to death. It is also a far cry from putting an unborn baby through the medical equivalent of a wood chipper. Any idiot who can’t tell the difference should fit under Hitler’s mentally incompetent clause and is fully eligible for his final solution. Oh, I forgot, this is America; we are guaranteed the right to “LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” Posted by Mack on 2005-02-22 12:47:40 Top |

Headline: Ariel Sharon Schedules Peace Talks with Self If there is anything we should all be able to agree on it is the need for justice, simple justice in all things. Individuals being rewarded or held accountable for their actions is a start. Requiring the media to tell the truth and calling them on it when they lie. These things are part and parcel of peaceful co-existence in any diverse social situation. This means the full and just enforcement of laws, established by the elected representatives of the people, who are accountable to the people. Equity in that all people are held to the same standard. In order to have this happen the people, both Palestinian and Israeli alike, must have faith in the government. That government must establish credibility with not only their own people but with their neighbors. The U.N. has lost any such credibility it once had. The new Iraqi government is establishing that credibility now, and the Europeans know that The United States and Britain have never lost it. Europe is like a bunch of men whole stood by while a helpless woman was being raped. They feel shame and question their man hood in that the American cops and British Bobbies stopped the crime and are prosecuting the guilty. Now they are being asked to redeem their manhood. What a choice, to be a nation of rapists, a nation of justice, or a nation of voyeurs who either by fear or corruption fail to intercede when they see atrocities being committed and fail to act. Headline: Ariel Sharon Schedules Peace Talks with Self This is such a frustrating issue for everyone. The only people who have things going as they want them are Hammas. The Palestinian people are restricted and can’t work, no on wants to do business there because of the violence; no commerce means no income so they are living in poverty. The Israelis are living in a prison with the odd opportunity to be killed or maimed every time they walk out of their homes. Tourism and commerce is off in Israel too, defense spending is up and frankly their stability is dependant on the least stable nut job across the water. As we have seen, Hammas has already said they will not honor the cease fire agreement reached by Israel and Abbass. If peace breaks out they will be subject to the laws of democratic society. Abbass has his hands full in trying to undo all the years Yassir Arafat’s obstruction. I have not yet formed an opinion on Abbass. I do know that he has to establish himself and take control of his own people before he can do anything else. I also know that Arafat had it easy because he was fully in support of murder and mayhem. As to what if anything Abbass can or will accomplish we don’t yet know. In the end it will be up to the Palestinian people. If they get mad enough in significant numbers they will stop Hammas. If they don’t sooner or later Israel will have to eliminate the threat. One way or another Hammas will have to be neutered. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-21 11:40:22 Top |
Headline: Ariel Sharon Schedules Peace Talks with Self I think back on the old saying, “People not only don’t know the answers but haven’t read the question.” It is too easy for people in the cheap seats to say things like we are here. To us it is all a discussion, to the people who live there it is a day to day effort to avoid being killed. Not just for the victims of the terrorists, but for the Palestinians who were born there and know no other home. The key to solving this is to remove the stumbling block. The only stumbling block to progress is the unchecked terrorist’s violence that has derailed every attempt by every reasonable person to resolve the problem. I said in my first post that “some Palestinians and some Arabs” want to eradicate all Jews. Most of those folks want nothing more than to live in security with the highest standard of living they can get. They want to have their families safe and not have to worry about getting caught in an air strike while their neighbors to the East go after another whack job terrorist. What will have to happen is simple to say but difficult to implement. To paraphrase, they will have to “Establish justice to ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and ensure the blessings of liberty, for themselves and their posterity.” They have to eliminate the terrorists by military action and through diplomacy establish a just resolution for all the people who live their. No easy task. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-21 10:48:52 Top |
Headline: Ariel Sharon Schedules Peace Talks with Self Leben Frie, in order to satisfy some of the Palestinians as well as a lot of Arabs the Israelis will not be allowed to use ships. They must march naked into the ocean and die. If the Arab terrorists and their Nazi counterparts before them had their desires fulfilled the Jewish people would be completely removed from the face of the earth along with all traces that they ever were here. I would think that people would grasp this having seen countless news reports and knowing the history of places like Auschwitz. The land is only an excuse. How ever I see our Jewish friends are at least attempting to act in good faith if for no other reason than to deny the opposition in the U.N. an excuse. I hate to point out the obvious, but it will do no good. The enemy can not be pacified by gestures of good faith. The only reason Israel still exists is due to superior fire power and minimal hesitancy in using it. We are only now beginning to understand what it feels like to have the entire world support and excuse your enemies' acts of violence against us while they condemn us for defending ourselves. The enemy truly is an axis of evil. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-21 08:56:59 Top |

Headline: Harvard Chief: Women Good at Calculating, Dissecting I tend to be old fashioned about most things, but this is likely not one of them. In my opinion the best qualified person should get the job. It shouldn’t matter what the job is of who the person is. In my line of work I have found women who are more capable than some men and some men who are more capable than women. Race doesn’t even come into the argument. The truth is simple, as was touched upon by some one else toward the top of the page. Each person is gifted with individual talents. When we try to stereotype them we count out talented people based on unfair prejudices. Any study that claims otherwise is simply not dealing with reality. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-18 13:19:41 Top |
Headline: Putin Sells Effort to Halt Iran Nuke Production Lenin once said in a speech that the last capitalist would be hung by a rope he had sold to the communists. I find this to be a scary twist of fate in that millions of other innocent people all over the world may be hung by that communist rope they are trying to sell. Headline: Jimmy Carter Attack Sub Armed with Nerf Missiles I find it hard to feel sorry for people who are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves and won’t. Then the same people complain about the quality of care they get from other people. If you are fully able you should take care of yourself. If you are not able you should honor those that take care of you. It is the same with our freedom. I see liberals complain non stop about the republic we know as “The United States of America” while they do little or nothing to support it. Our freedom hinges upon our ability and our willingness to defend it. Our free society is only free because men and women stood up to tyrants and sacrificed. Now liberals not only cut down our current defenders but spit on the legacy of our honored dead. In my opinion, should a tyrannical regime take over this country the liberals who hamstring the military deserve it. But their children don’t. This is how I feel and what I believe. No raging heroics, just a sincere desire to see justice in all things. It is unjust to degrade people who sacrifice for the common good. It is unjust to reward people for wrong doing. It is unjust to call a good thing bad or to call a bad thing good. It is shear cowardice to see an unjust act and to ignore it. Be your own judges. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-17 06:33:59 Top |

Headline: Dems Threaten to 'Tantrum' Bush Nominees I figure the Democrats could do a lot worse than throwing a simple tantrum every time they are proven wrong. They could act like some of the trolls around here who feel compelled to repost their garbage repeatedly ad-nauseas until rational people are simply to fed up to argue. It really could be a lot worse. Like when a certain French looking presidential candidate, professional Vietnam Veteran, and Senator from lobster land, who changes his stance on every issue yet still insults our intelligence by starting the contradiction with the words “I have always said” soon followed closely by what we country folk refer to as a “whopper.” In other words he flip flops like a mackerel on the deck of a Boston sail boat. He didn’t turn to the tantrum tactic until after he conceded the election, which he concedes was stolen from him after the voters failed to understand his nuance. Some how, the Nuance and the flopping mackerel are about the same as far as I’m concerned. They smell, they are noisy, and no matter how hard they try they will not make it back into the water. Headline: Dems Threaten to 'Tantrum' Bush Nominees I hate to say it but I am disappointed in the Republicans. I was listening to a radio talk show last night and was told that the current federal budget just signed into law allowed for the biggest tax payer funded hand out to “Planned Parenthood” to date. Even with a Republican Majority in the house and Senate as well as our president they still are using tax payer money to fund abortion clinics and pro abortion programs. http://www.covenantnews.com/lefemine050208.htm For my pro life / anti baby murder counterparts out there in Scrapple land it may be a good time to throw a tantrum of our own. Headline: NHL to Settle Salary Dispute with Lawyer Fistfight I am “Sports fanatically challenged.” In other words, I am sports illiterate. Don’t the Democrats have some form of entitlement program I can sign up for? I understand football and even watch it occasionally but listening to the Hawk Eyes play is about the extent of my fanaticism. If I miss a game it is not the end of the world. To my shame I wasn’t even sure who was playing in the Super Bowl this year were it not for Scrapple. I doubt I could name or recognize all the teams in the current NFL, forget hockey. What is it they are striking for? I love the movie “Miracle.” The 1980 U.S. Hockey team that won Gold at Lake Placid was my first introduction to hockey. Of course the movie “Slap shot” was quite humorous as the goofy Hanson brothers played with their toys in the hotel room. As, to quote the movie “Miracle” “I don’t know the difference between the blue line and a clothes line,” I still understand that when they swat the puck into the net it is one point. Sort of like rugby with ice skates and sticks. Body checks look a lot like a fowl in basketball, a sport which defies my ability to comprehend. Ten guys run up and down a hard wood floor bouncing a ball only to throw it into a steel hoop. They make a lot of money so it must be great. As I am clearly a desperate case you all should feel sorry for me, drop everything you are doing, call, write, or e-mail your elected representatives and have them send me money so I will feel better. Headline: Election Leaves Iraq in 'Quagmire of Compromise' http://msnbc.msn.com/id/6858103/ or just click my name. I want to point all Scrapplers to a news story on MSNBC tonight in which Neo-Nazis have once again began to take power in Germany. They even have elected representatives who are so bold as to have walked out of the chamber when the Reichstag called for a moment of silence on the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. Most recently they had several thousand of them march in a parade today to mark the 60th aniversary of the bombing of Dresden. They estimate over ten thousand strong and growing as Germany's economy crashes and more Europeans become un-employed. I point this out because some well intentioned among us think they can just ignore such people and they will go away. Well they won't. They are back in large numbers and are once again electing people to high office in Europe, going by the Hitler Mien Kampf play book in blaming the Jews and distorting history. They are gathering a following because passive people don't stand up to them. Just like 1938 all over again. Some of our peacable people had better wake up and smell the coffee. The real world is full of bad things that go bump in the night. If they are allowed to grow unchecked and unchallenged we end up with "fianl solutions" to "Jewish problems" and other "mud races" who should be slaves to the "Master Race." I hate to intrude on your comfort zone but 9/11/2001 did that for a lot of people when it could have been stopped by Jimmy Carter. Had he and every President that followed him taken it personally. Headline: Election Leaves Iraq in 'Quagmire of Compromise' Saint Valentine was a Christian Bishop who opposed a Roman emperor’s attempt to ban and outlaw marriage. The emperor, whose name is not significant, thought that men would fight better in the army if they weren’t emotionally tied down with wives and families. When Saint Valentine opposed the ruling he was executed. I guess he was ahead of his time. He promoted virtue and they killed him. They kill people for what they percive as a lack of virtue. Headline: Election Leaves Iraq in 'Quagmire of Compromise' I love history. Real history that is, as opposed to the efforts of some to re-write it to suit their personal points of view. With the winners of the first free elections in Iraq now moving the process along we are seeing history being made and re-written right in front of us. In order for people to make informed decisions they need factual information. In that you who are reading this are part of that equation, I salute you all. Bloggers are getting out the facts, debunking the propaganda spewing left, and in most cases having a lot of fun doing it. It may be lost on some of you that you are seeing historic events as they happen. In the last century we saw the Democrat led socialist revolution rise, plateau and start their decline. Now we see democracy breaking out in areas that were once the bastion of totalitarianism. With the active participation of Bloggers around the world we will see history accurately reported and recorded. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-14 08:54:11 Top |
Headline: Chavez Secretly Creating Venezuelan Utopia When I was in 5th grade I ordered a book titled “The rise and fall of Adolf Hitler.” I was 11 and couldn’t understand why bullies acted the way they do. It seemed at the time like a good place to start. Later, in 6th grade I read the Time Life series on World War 2. In the book “The third Reich” they covered in depth the practices and propaganda distributed and utilized by Joseph Goebles and company. I know this is an odd subject for the average elementary school kid to read, but I was an introvert and frankly didn’t like being around people. On average I used to read about 4 books a week, usually on history and science. I didn’t watch a lot of TV because my mom couldn’t always afford to have one. When we did it wasn’t much. To this day I can’t watch the mindless drivel that passes for “must see TV.” Kristie will watch her shows now and I will read or play on the computer. The wonderful thing about reading is that your led to answers and understanding the world around you. Not only do you know what is happening but have gained the knowledge to understand why. Headline: Chavez Secretly Creating Venezuelan Utopia Pull up a chair and pay close attention. I am about to teach a very simple lesson about racism which is self evident in the postings of the angry euro. With this one piece of information you can safely ignore people like him and see them for what they are. Racists and in this case anti-Semites fear those they proclaim to be inferior. They fear them and in order to feel their equal they must degrade them. In extreme cases like we see with euro, they fear them to the point that they feel the need to recruit or convince others to see their so called logic. I actually sat down and read some of the old nazi propaganda when I was a kid. It, like what euro says here, is filled with dire accusations of what the Jews were doing. It was a lie of course and with it they often had pictures and other material to help the average citizen recognize the secret Jews who were said to be spying on them every where. It is no secret that Hitler and the rest of the Nazi party were competing against the communist party for control in his early rise. The Brown shirts were openly fighting them in the streets. What is also common knowledge is that Hitler used the natural suspicion of the people to focus their blame and thus unify the German people behind him. By focusing the blame for all of Germany's failures on the Jews he did a bait and switch blaming them for everything. Losing World War 1, the harsh payments Germany was making to their former enemies which was part of the armistice, the worthless Mark and the out of control unemployment. He blamed it all on a Jewish plot. Typical. euro fears the people who work hard and educate their children. He fears the people who pass on generations of wealth to their children. Most of all he is jealous of them and fears that he is inferior to them in intellect and substance. He is inferior to them in that he can't build himself up so he must stoop to degrading those he fears. With that in mind it is easy to pick apart his claims. Headline: Chavez Secretly Creating Venezuelan Utopia I choose not to bother reading euro's trash. After all, I summed it all up with my earlier comment in regards to "the rape victim had it coming." As far as facts are concerned, general knowledge of history, and common sense for that matter, the bigot, the anti-semite, the coward, all have one thing in common, they disregard common sense. Now when euro or any one else trys to justify the systematic murder of children they have already lost the debate. Such is our opponent. They make the tragic tactical error of ignoring the first rule of modern combat. "Never underestimate your opponent." By pidgeon holing those you fear as lesser beings or generally evil you will only be surprised when they beat you. He is right with the bottom line of his 6:12 post, he will no doubt have to learn his lesson again. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-13 18:40:27 Top |
Headline: Kim Jong-Il Threatens to Nuke North Koreans Justice is an individual thing. When an individual commits a crime or earns reward. euros' whole premise is that as a group Jews, to include children, deserved to be exterminated due to their prosperity. Because they were prosperous and earned a decent living, educated their children, and passed on their wealth to their posterity they deserved to be exterminated. How idiotic of you. I am glad I am an American. If we followed euro's logic we would have tried to exterminate all Islam after 9/11. By his logic they, to include all the children, would deserve it. Headline: Chavez Secretly Creating Venezuelan Utopia Yesterday a troll named "euro" posted a bunch of crap which spoke for it's self. In my bumkin simple fashion I summed up his whole argument on the last thread. euro thinks that women who are raped have it coming becuase they are there and the rapist wants to. Simple explanation of his whole set of "Facts." Gane set match, end of troll bash. Everything after that was a waste of time. As he managed by his own prose to prove nothing beyond the synonym I mentioned. By the way, my speeling is garbage also so I have no room to coment on that point. Headline: Kim Jong-Il Threatens to Nuke North Koreans Kim Jung Il has no real appreciation for just how precarious his hold on power is. As Marie Antoinette's attitude of "Let them eat cake" cost her her head, so might Kim Jung Il lose his. I would think his nuclear capability would be minimal as another Scrappler pointed out, he has no real means to delver it. If we take out his air force and navy he has only a large starving army. That is a threat to the peninsula but without air support he is toast. They would be stopped and though he doesn't care about the destruction of war, the suffering of his own people, or anyone else for that matter, mid level commanders will see opportunities while in command of large numbers of troops. When the rumors get back to them that their people are ready to revolt they will turn on that Muppet looking moron and the sign "Under new Management" will go up all across the country. I am sure Kim's advisors haven't told him all the bad news. He tends to imprison people at a whim or worse I am sure, so it is not in their immediate best interest to upset him more than necessary. We know that Saddam thought he had a WMD program but that his people had lied to him in order to keep them selves in one piece, I am sure Kim is even less informed. I am also sure that a lot of people are peacefully sitting at home right now, just living their lives, going around minding their own business, who will die or suffer great loss if this megalomaniac goes off half cocked. There is so little humor in despots and they leave a slimy trail of grief behind them like a malignant snail every where they go. Yet American liberals want to emulate them. Kerry also wants to rule the world with absolute power over every facet of life as does Kennedy and Hillary. They wonder why Republicans win. We win because we don't want to be ruled. Headline: U.N. 'Pre-bukes' U.S. Over North Korean Nukes Europeone, I see that the gravity of the situation is lost on you. Let me explain and I'll use small words. Since Kim Jung Il walked away from talks with not only The United States, but South Korea, Russia, China, and Japan he is in fact rattling his saber. Since he claims to be in possession of nuclear weapons he is claiming to have a deterrent in the event he invades South Korea and anyone tries to stop him. 2. He just cut the daily food ration for his citizens in half due to shortages. It is not a good thing when he can't feed his people and threatens the republic across the border who has enough to export and a booming economy. 3. It is winter over there too. More than the misery that being cold brings, it is the one time during the year when the rice paddies are solid and the ground solid enough to support tanks maneuvering away from the main roads. We have an operation there every year at this time called "Bear Hunt" just to reinforce and project force as a deterrent. It is prime weather for armor in Korea right now. 4. With a substantial number of our troops deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan Kim might be thinking he can move faster than we can react. Kim has failed to figure into this equation the U.S. Navy which is only minimally in use at the moment. But his failure to figure in certain threats may be negated if he becomes desperate. What Kim wants is what all communists and Democrats want, he wants to call the shots and have the rest of the world support him, solve his problems, and treat him with respect while he uses them. What he is likely to get is a very large number of Tomahawk missiles raining down on him as we duplicate "Shock and Awe" in a coordinated attack which will sever his command and control, isolate Pyongyang, and finally, destroys his air force on the ground. The problem with dictators is that after awhile they start to believe their own propaganda and think they are all powerful. A lot of people end up dead proving them wrong. It is anything but humorous at this point. It is too bad that Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton had to go to so much effort to give him the technology and the material to build his nukes. What is even worse is that during the second debate Senator John Kerry suggested we do the same thing for Iran. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-10 20:44:45 Top |
Headline: U.N. 'Pre-bukes' U.S. Over North Korean Nukes Angus, the trolls there aren't worth answering. They want to debate things that happened in the 1800s. I think we have progressed from that point. Unless your name is ward churchhill and you impersonate an Indian to act like a noble victim. Now back to our regulary scheduled thread. I remember Operation “Team Spirit” in 1988 when we were off the coast. Even at sea it doesn’t take long to figure out where the line is. Flying home from one overseas tour I remember having the Navy Lieutenant sitting next to me point it out. Photos do not do the comparison justice, you have to see it to fully grasp how dark and dismal that country is. These folks still heat their homes with charcoal if it is available. The carbon monoxide would kill anyone else, but they are acclimated to it. I don’t think the average American has a clue how rich a society we are. It is clear that they don’t. They are lucky to have electricity let alone TVs or computers. Telephones are controlled through a central switch board and all calls are monitored and recorded. That if there even is a telephone for them to talk on. Most of them never move more than 20 miles from the place of their birth. They don’t have need to call anyone. News is only what is told to them by the government so life is very restricted. Life is consumed with day to day living. Politics are not a matter of great interest when you are hungry and the government takes the food you grow so they can ration it back. It is the same thing our government does with Social Security, only they take the food right out of their fields, The government has to ration everything and decides who gets what. Clothes, food, housing, the government can move you to another area simply because they need people there, the citizens have no say in anything. I find it sickening that Democrats want to emulate this practice. Social Security was only the beginning. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-10 17:11:25 Top |

Headline: U.N. 'Pre-bukes' U.S. Over North Korean Nukes Kim has pulled out of multi lateral talks now after having just cut the daily ration of food to his people. There is a pattern here if you know what you are looking at. Kim Jung Il is a dictator who grew up at his father’s knee leaning the tricks. If he plays his cards right he can get the U.N. to feed his people and unite them behind him while he is at it. He doesn’t have much choice. He sits in a cage of his own making. The people who live under Kim Jung Il are for the most part little different than people any where else. They want to live in as much comfort with as little fear as possible. They aren’t running around trying to think up ways to destroy America. But their “dear leader” needs an outside enemy to focus their attention away from the failures of his government and their empty bellies. He needs some one to blame for everything that is wrong and all they lack as he demands more sacrifice from them. Castro has maintained his grip on Cuba using the same trick since he took power. It is a pat trick used by every dictator from the beginning of recorded time. Howie is always good for a laugh. What Howie and most liberals fail to comprehend is something the Iraqi people know instinctively. Before the invasion Tom Brokaw was in Baghdad and interviewed people. They all said pretty much the same thing. They hated the American government but not the American people. This was the party line as espoused by Saddam via mass indoctrination. Kim Jung Il is more worried about being over thrown by his starving masses at home than he is a Democratic nation going to war with him. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-10 12:54:29 Top |
Headline: U.N. 'Pre-bukes' U.S. Over North Korean Nukes The only problem with Nuking North Korea, no one would notice. Flying off the coast at night it doesn’t take much to figure out where the 38th parallel is. North of the line is a dark and shapeless mass discernable in the dark only because the white capped waves marking a coast line. South of the line you see city lights, moving cars, and you know people are living there. The people are with out hope. There is an advantage to rebuilding this sort of society once you topple the government. Unlike the radical Islamists we have to deal with in Iraq, these people don’t have any great beliefs to defend. The vast majority has nothing dynamic to live for and nothing radical to die for. By comparison to Iraq or even Afghanistan creating jobs and commerce would be a lot more effective in that it doesn’t conflict with any religious beliefs. Militarily North Korea could be decapitated a lot faster than trying to deal with it’s military. I would expect to see China on board but only as long s they get to be a major influence. I chuckle at that because it reminds me of Syria and their “influence” in Lebanon. If it comes down to a real threat Kim Jung Il will not know what hit him. Our only problem after that will be keeping China from absorbing the entire peninsula. This would upset our South Korean allies to wake up and find the Chinese attempting to take all they have built. Headline: Bush Offers 'Ownership Society' Drug Benefit I just had a chat with our payroll guru and really had an eye opener. He told me that the company pays a flat Social Security tax of 7% on every dime that every employee earns. Payroll taxes are any where from 18 % to 40% depending on earnings. That doesn’t count state taxes. I wonder how the economy would do if half of that were cut and evenly distributed between the businesses and the workers? Democrats don’t think people can take care of themselves so they have to confiscate our earnings to ensure that we are taken care of. Now that this extortion has been up and running this country into the ground since the 1930s, there is a money pit the size of the Grand Canyon to fill just to get us out of it. Yet Kennedy, Pelosi, Reid, and company stand at the edge of this abyss and can’t see it for the fog of politics. I personally believe they can not help but see the problem. I think they are lying about it. I also think that when history exposes that lie they will not be here to see the shambles their legacy leaves. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-10 11:02:58 Top |
Headline: Little Eichmanns Group Celebrates Prof's Free Speech This clod and every other want-a-be revolutionary does have the right to say what ever he wants. He just doesn’t have the right to be endorsed by the State of Colorado and by default the federal government that pay his salary. He claims that he doesn’t answer to the Governor or the board of regents. He is wrong in that they answer to the people. As long as the university accepts federal funding he answers to every tax payer. If he were a Nazi and showed dressed in an SS black uniform or a white robe and pointed hat they would have him escorted off campus. Why? What is the difference? He feels he is safe because the people he chooses to attack are conservatives. I am sure if he were a “Klansman” on the campus of a Colorado university these same people would do back flips to protect his civil rights? He has the right to attack blacks and minorities as evil people, first amendment covers that doesn’t it? After all it was their fault they were persecuted. As with all rights, his stop where mine start. As he is paid with tax payer money we can fire him and let him spew his hate some where else. Headline: Little Eichmanns Group Celebrates Prof's Free Speech I was shocked to see Churchhill covered in depth last night on NBC news. Me thinks the liberals are going into melt down now. This is especially true in that the tax payers pay his salary. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-10 08:38:42 Top |
Headline: Bush Offers 'Ownership Society' Drug Benefit Social security is now and was the dumbest idea to ever be adopted into practice. Now The great society is going to have to pay. The "Greatest Generation" is getting shafted again, and this monster won't go down with out taking a lot of money with it. I will say it again, if we were allowed to keep the money that every employer has to pay in payroll taxes we could save for our own retirement. Those people 55 and older would have had more than enough time to invest. But a lot of them didn't because they knew they had Social Security to retire on. They also didn't have as much to work with. This beast consumes so much of our Gross National Product it isn't even funny. It has taken trillions of dollars out circulation that would have been used by the people and businesses that earned it. Such losses really drain the economy and have been an anvil on everyone since they started taking it out. As a cost to business it also limits growth of those businesses because it makes it a lot more expensive to hire people. Without that cost, American businesses would be not only more competitive in the world market, but our workers would earn and keep more in doing it. Unions already furnish pensions, I wonder what they could negotiate if the company turned payroll tax liability into profit? Now that this behemoth is sinking, the Democrats are like the wealthy people on the Titanic who don't want to get cold in the life boats. The older workers and the poor are like the 3rd class passengers who were locked below deck and forced to go down with the ship. In the end it will cost trillions and will continue to until the last recipient dies and the program ceases to pay out. No wonder they call it the third rail of politics. The mere discussion of it shows how rotten the system is and really makes the patron saint of the Democratic Party look bad. Thank you FDR. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-09 19:34:50 Top |
Headline: Bush Offers 'Ownership Society' Drug Benefit I don't think any reasonable person has any real problem with social programs that actually do what they are supposed to. Nor do I think we have any serious gripe with helping people who actaully need it. Just like any work situation, most people have problems when it comes to working while others sit and watch you only to hear them complain about how bad they have it. There are Scrapplers here who have disabilities. But they do the best they can with what they have. They have earned and deserve respect. When FDR made it government's job to take care of everything a lot of people latched on to the free ride. When Johnson tried to expand government's roll more people joined the party. Only now there are fewer and fewer people around to pay the bill. What happens when the cow runs dry? Posted by Mack on 2005-02-09 17:30:45 Top |
Headline: Bush Offers 'Ownership Society' Drug Benefit Miss Virginia has made a great point. I know of one family where neither the mother or the step dad work, both of which can garden, and fish, can their own vegetables, as well as any thing physical they choose to. The daughter / step daughter is a hypochondriac like her mother who is doctor shopping now in the effort to find something wrong. These people, who collect disability and SSI, do not pay more than $5.00 for any prescription. They pay nothing for doctor visits, even surgery. If government “aid” suddenly stopped they all would be living off relatives. I call that situation “Our tax dollars at rest.” I know if the cushion of state and federal programs were not there these folks would have no choice but to work. I also have 5 people who work for me over the age of 60 who have no intention of retiring. They refuse to be “taken care of” while they are able to support themselves. I get irritated when I see people who work12 hour days in all weather while other people do not and have no intent to work. They take care of themselves and their families. I once posted about Mr. Purcell, a man who has so many disabilities he can hardly move even with crutches. Yet every week day he is here. The company has made reasonable accommodations for him and he is very productive. He is one of the smartest men I know and also one of the most courageous. He supports himself and even with disabilities contributes more to society than the people in the first paragraph ever will. If government “aid” stopped today he wouldn’t notice other than the increase in his pay. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-09 16:38:27 Top |
Headline: Bush Offers 'Ownership Society' Drug Benefit I am not in such a bad mood. I just point out the obvious and have minimal ability to interpret satire. We can call it “Satirically challenged.” Perhaps there is some liberal program out there that can help me. Think of it like the PEST people who seem to be still wallowing in their self pity after losing the election. I suppose we will have to get some Democrat to propose a study for the condition. Of course my lack of satirical understanding is the fault of society. The federal government should finance my recovery and any expense necessary to see my life fulfilled. They could just tack the cost of it on with the Medicaid funding that pays for Viagra. Of course if the government didn’t take so much money in payroll taxes to pay for such important projects that clearly fall under the general welfare clause of our constitution, maybe I wouldn’t feel so satirically challenged. If that money was added to thier pay checks, minimum wage earners would literally double their take home pay. If they did away with Social Security taxes which also comes out of our pay checks we would make about 15% or so more still. Yet they talk about raising the standard of living of the poor by raising taxes? It had to be a Democrat / Communist who thought this up and still more of them who can’t see anything wrong with it. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-09 10:55:52 Top |
Headline: Bush Offers 'Ownership Society' Drug Benefit Since Social Security and Medicaid are programs that current recipients have paid into along with their employers from the time they first earned taxable income, they do own it. If I have a heart attack and die, all that I have put into the system will be forfeited to the general fund. That’s ok in that millions of people who don’t and never have paid into it will own it for me. It’s to bad I can’t will it to my family. Now, if the President has his way and privatizes this monstrosity, we really will own it. In my opinion it is condescending that the government has to take our payroll taxes and invest money in our retirement so it is there when we retire. What the government is telling us is that we are not responsible enough to save and invest our own money so they have to do it for us. It comes as no surprise that this is the land mark defining moment of the Democratic Party. Since they have been taking thousands of dollars from me and my employers from my first job at age 12, I have to participate to get any of it back. Imagine how much we would make if our employers were allowed to give us the money they pay in payroll tax rather than to the government to support the Social Security and Medicaid programs? Headline: Bush Offers 'Ownership Society' Drug Benefit Nancy Pelosi, there is a woman who never lets facts get in the way of her opinions. Like most trolls, they never let the fact that their opposition is right influence their arguments. This fact is not lost on the people they claim to represent. I do believe also that a bird in the oven is worth many in grocery store. PETA people should be kept in cages and studied until a cure is found, and reporters should do as their name implies, “report” the news. Correspondent implies that they write to us. This is quite accurate in that it doesn’t imply they write the truth. So, to become happy and mentally healthy we all must follow their example. We will let the “correspondents” lie, we will let Pelosi and company use the lies “reported” to them to argue fraudulent positions that we will oppose, while PETA eats rabbit pellets and acts like their organization makes meaningful differences. Headline: Pentagon Sets Rules of Engagement for Journalists To those of you who do not know, last year I came off a bad day and really said some rude things to Cass. The lady and I have mutual respect for the other. I would hope that I can say the same for all of you. As she mentioned, she has a lot going on. Her husband is a field grade Marine officer. Read between the lines and respect it. She taught me to. I do want you all to know that I would not and will not deliberately hurt anyone's feelings. I do make exceptions with combative trolls who need at times to be whomped with massive doses of logic. If I should point out something to one of the respected regulars it is always with respect. As with Ms. Right Wing earlier. Like wise, if an interloper should attempt to degrade any of the people I have come to respect I will not tolerate it. That is in my opinion, a sign of respect between members of a community. It is also the greatest deficiency among our adversaries. They do not debate, they simply degrade. They do not propose any solutions but rather attack everything anyone else try's to accomplish. They are liberals. Conservatives are supposed to be more mature. With that in mind, you folks might check out the thread before this one. Several among us have posted some fairly articulate material. Some of it is even funny. P.S. Headline: DNC To Consider Republican Chairman Did the trolls notice that I reminded them that we were created in God’s own image? My second post on this thread today took a lot of careful crafting. It was my intent to bring out the fact that human beings are of more value than lower life forms. If possible I would hope that people would recognize their own value. It may sound funny to most conservatives, but liberals demonstrate a poor perception of self worth. I pointed out how PETA equates human babies as tissue but demand and actively lobby for animal rights. What they are saying is that animals are higher life forms than humans. As for the “Crotch minded” crowd who see themselves and other human beings as little more than receptacles, if they held any form of self respect they would recognize that their bodies are their most private and personal possessions. They would attach worth to their very person. They would not seek to degrade other people with perversion nor would they allow others to perform perversions on them. Instead, as I pointed out, they run around like over dressed chimps sniffing each other’s private parts. By denying God they claim monkeys as ancestors. It would be nice if liberals would recognize human worth, human dignity, and would at least attempt to see them selves as more than they now do. I suppose this does explain why they criticize conservatives and degrade everyone that disagrees with them. Their self image is so poor they can’t rise above what they have become. Headline: DNC To Consider Republican Chairman I wonder what was posted which met the untimely fate of the delete button. I would guess it is the pure logic of my comparison has gravely upset some one. I can’t help this one folks; it’s too funny to pass up. I can just picture some of the folks I have debated with over the years reading this, recognizing their own behavior reflected in it, and getting red faced angry. They are angry not because I wrote it, but because it is true and they know it. The commercial was intended to make rational people compare their co-workers with chimpanzees. The natural behavior of the chimps is clearly mimicked by the “alternate lifestyle” crowd. It cracks me up further that these people who lack any form of self discipline or impulse control claim to have evolved from the same chimps. They do claim such things in following Darwin’s theory and deny, yes vehemently argue that God can not exist. They are liberals. Their lives are centered on instant gratification. They reject any form of accountability, and they claim everyone else is biased for rejecting such behavior. The same people have gone to great lengths to ban any mention of God in any public forum. Even more funny is that folks like PETA actually give more value to, and want more rights for the chimps than they do to unborn humans. Look at Ted Kennedy and tell me that he doesn’t make you think of a gorilla in a suit? Nancy Pelosi looks like she escaped from the set of “Planet of the apes.” All the while their rhetoric anti life, pro baby murder, pro instant gratification, crotch minded mentality is held up as “PROGRESSIVE.” I love it. To liberals, acting like chimps has fully defined their entire world view. They don’t need a Republican to chair their committee, they need a zoo keeper. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-08 11:43:33 Top |
Headline: Pentagon Sets Rules of Engagement for Journalists I love this. I had a conversation with one of our local radio personalities the other day about this. Let’s make it simple shall we. Our military has all the fire power necessary to conduct combat operations; the journalists have cameras and are dependant on the military to keep them safe. To quote the artist formerly known as and I guess again known as Prince, “Dig if you will the picture.” There is nothing but professionalism and the good nature of our people that would keep the journalists from injury if the military chose. If they were targets, they would be dead and there would be no one or no thing that could either stop it or for that matter do anything about it after the fact. Abu Grahib proved one thing. The military holds it’s self to a higher standard than even the media can imagine. Wrong doing is investigated and when evidence of wrong doing is uncovered the guilty are prosecuted. If reporters were targets I have no doubt that there would be very few if any of them left alive to complain. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-08 09:42:46 Top |

Headline: DNC To Consider Republican Chairman Scott has a few of us laughing at the monkey commercial he referenced ay the bottom of the thread. I laugh because liberals do remind me of these monkeys. Especially the part where one monkey bends over and another sniffs his, how to put this delicately, private area. This is some of the same base animal behavior so called “enlightened people” actively seek and participate in, all the while demanding that everyone else recognize that behavior as normal and acceptable. They remind me of the monkeys in the commercial while normal people remind me of the human trying to reason with them. I fully expect two things will happen here. The first is that I will have just proved a valid point to anyone who claims to accept same sex marriage as legitimate. The second is that the same folks who know I am right will be very angry at being compared unfavorably to apes. Since the same people deny God and claim evolution as their religion I don’t see why they would be angered at the reference to their Fore fathers. I am not calling them monkeys; they claim the relationship where as I believe human beings are created in the image of God. Their own philosophy is summed up by a monkey commercial. Headline: DNC To Consider Republican Chairman Maybe since McCain wasn't interested in being Kerry's VP they can tap him. He seems a great candidate for this years RINO award. He, being the press darling that he is, could surely unite the Democrats behind him. But they still couldn't win. As the old joke goes, he would have to tie a pork chop around their necks to get the dogs to play with them. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-08 07:41:22 Top |

Headline: Preemptive Dem Budget Slashes Austerity Funding Lt. General Mattis was right. But I have to admit, killing the enemy is a lot easier than trying to rehabilitate them. Then again, some times the second option is not an option at all. I can still picture Howie trying to talk it out with Bin Laden as they saw off his head. Some how I don't think Bin Laden or Zarqawi are open to conversion. The difference here is that most Non Muslim religions don't feel the need to kill those they can't convert. I suppose given their choices, killing is the only way they can take over the world. You see, terrorism accomplishes three things, it cuts down the number of people they have to debate with, it intimidates the less committed, and it attracts followers who like to kill and want the cloak of respectability that goes with the cause. They can't afford to "live and let live." because their Muslim sharia laws are strict, repressive, and almost impossible to live up to, even to those who grow up under it. Their only hope is to convince their followers that Christians and Jews have stolen the inheritance of the Muslim faithful. Other wise, what have they got? Suffering and self imposed deprivation? I am sure the women just can't wait to convert. It must be so liberating to discard all sense of personal identity and become the obedient slave of all male relatives and Imams which you are not allowed to even look at. The irritating choices of what you will wear and what you will do with your life are made for you. I bet women can't wait for the burka fitting. I wonder why the Islamic extremists have so much trouble converting people? Posted by Mack on 2005-02-07 22:40:15 Top |
Headline: Preemptive Dem Budget Slashes Austerity Funding Paul McCartney could do a pardoy of his own, instead of "Hey Jude" it could be "Hey Troll." CKJ is right about one thing, we have pretty much eliminated any room for argument. They have fallen on their own mantra of "Record deficit" compaign talking points that Kerry used so often during his "FAILED" attempt. Now Dean takes the helm of the Titanic. I mean Democratic Party. I quote the great Robing Williams when he joked about Alexander Haige as the Secretary of State. "It's like having Charles Manson as a male nurse." "Just a few more incisions here." Sort of like other liberals, Koffi Annan investigating the "Oil for food" scandal is a lot like O.J. Simpson trying to find Nicole's killer. Or Hillary Clinton attempting to come off pro life is like Martha Stewart shopping at K-Mart. Liberals are such a hoot. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-07 20:40:47 Top |

Headline: Preemptive Dem Budget Slashes Austerity Funding I love cowards, they are so much fun. I have the over whelming desire to stomp the coward who attacks the nice cookie lady. Call it funny or what ever, but I repeat, the lady deserves and had my respect. Liberals think the world owes them royal treatment and respect even when they have accomplished nothing and attempted in no way to show respect for anyone else. Ms. Right Wing has shown courage and candor in all of her postings as well as humor. If most liberals were in her shoes they would be pouting in a corner demanding a hand out. The lady has guts and determination. Those who would besmirch her name are cowards who deserve the title. The problem here is that they are much too stupid to comprehend the insult. Give them hell nice lady. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-07 19:28:44 Top |
Headline: Preemptive Dem Budget Slashes Austerity Funding Ms. Right Wing is a cool trooper who deserves and has my respect, even if she has not as yet offered me cookies. This is ok in that my lovely wife bakes cookies I would rate as world class. Having read my last post I do believe I should clarify a few of the finer points. When it comes to spending public money, our representatives must and should be required to account for every penny. If for instance the department of Agriculture “lost” 32 million dollars from the food stamp program like they did the last year Clinton was in office, I think who ever signed the checks needs to do some time in the cross bar hotel. If a program is funded and fails to produce results consistent with the money spent, whether by mismanagement or simply because it is flawed, we need to stop wasting tax payer money on a failure and put the money to better use. Government must be accountable to the people for not only the money it takes from us, but for the actions government takes in our name. Simply put, I wouldn’t do business with a company or organization that didn’t give me what I paid for, why is the government any different? If our social programs work, fund them. If they don’t work they must either be made to work or abandoned. I don’t have a problem paying taxes. I do have a problem when I hear about billions of dollars wasted on grants that study or fix things that are worthless. Who cares for instance about the mating habits of snails? Why do we need a “Rain forest” in Iowa? If federal funding assists citizens in becoming self sufficient, in over coming disability, or raising the standard of living, it is worth while. If this is the intent of the program but rather than helping people take care of themselves it creates an artificial dependence on government, while paying a bureaucracy outrageous amounts of money to mismanage it, it needs to be cut before one more penny is wasted on it. Headline: Preemptive Dem Budget Slashes Austerity Funding I wonder, how can it be mean spirited to take away something that doesn’t rightfully belong to the person in the first place? It would be like being accused of stealing your own money. It is our money as we are tax payers. If you waste what I give you why should I give you more? Why would I want to? Howie, among many others, complained today about the “CUTS” in funding. Key word being “CUTS.” In other words, the government has been taxing people to pay for programs that these people take advantage of. Tax payer money is poorly managed and wasted for programs that fail to do what they were created for. Robin Hood Howie says? How appropriate that he should point to mythical figure. Taking money from people who earn it to support people who don’t? Generous maybe if it is your own money, but extortion if it is someone else’s. If you all skipped your history classes you missed the Boston tea party where colonists protested taxation without representation. Perhaps if Howie learned to read he might find that financing ineffective and out dated programs simply because they are there is wasting everyone’s money where it can be used more effectively for the common good. As “Representatives” of the public interests, elected officials are charged with and take an oath to “Support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.” That means obey the law. Liberals think that just because lower wage earners want something that other people have they should be allowed to just take it. As Stewards of public funds the least they can do when they have extorted my hard earned money is spend it in a practical manner. If the programs in question are wasteful then our elected officials owe it to the people to either fix them or do away with them. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-07 15:36:21 Top |
Headline: Preemptive Dem Budget Slashes Austerity Funding Leben Frie, Possum answered that one as did another poster half way up the page. Nambla and Naral have a lot in common, they both see human beings as disposable objects. I don't post anything that I would consider drivel, but I have my detractors some of whom I respect. I at least consider what people say, but in the end I tend to be just arogant enough to do what I think is right in spite of what people say. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-07 13:11:33 Top |
Headline: Preemptive Dem Budget Slashes Austerity Funding To hear Ted Kennedy yak on “Meet the Press” yesterday with Tim Russert, he can fix the whole Social Security problem by simply repealing the President’s tax cuts. When pressed by Russert, Senator Kennedy refused to acknowledge that he was talking about a tax hike. Raise taxes as opposed to cutting waste? Some of you who occasionally glance at the drivel I write may recall I predicted this one. Not that I am the only one who noticed. If government cut the pork out of the budget and required all government spending to be constitutional we would have billions in surplus and pay half the taxes we do now. But the Democrats want to raise taxes? I would feel sorry for their personal accountants if this actually makes sense to them. I some how believe that these folks have other less scrupulous means of generating personal income. If I went to my boss and told him he had to give me more money because I spend too much on illegal things he would fire me. I think this may be another reason the Democrats are being “fired” by the voters in increasingly larger numbers. After all, the American tax payer is the defacto boss of all elected officials. Headline: NY Judge Bans Heterosexual Marriage Just for Colorado Kitty person, I read every single post on here. I don't have anything constructive to add that has not been covered. Alessandra in particular nailed the issue. I do how ever remember once when several people sought payback from a co-worker by putting him on a gay porno mailing list and having the material delivered both to his work and to his home. I agree that the "Jack" address and other information is likely that sort of underhanded attack on what is likely an unsuspecting victim. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-06 13:35:17 Top |

Headline: NY Judge Bans Heterosexual Marriage Now that is optomism Alessandra, I still like the idea tha these judges declare themselves uncontsitutional. After all, there is no place in the constitution that gives them authority to order legislative branches of government to create law like we saw in Massachussettes, but they did. Then we saw the legislature meekly follow the order. It is funny how they fight when it suits them, and crawl when it doesn't. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-05 15:31:23 Top |

Headline: NY Judge Bans Heterosexual Marriage Ken and Barbie are not anatomically correct, doing the no-no is a not. I suppose liberals remind me a lot of the famed toy couple. Both are plasic, both have no brain, and both get way to much publicity. Both have every thing money can buy but depend on other people to buy it for them. Did I mention that Ken and Barbie remind me of liberals, specifically Hollywood liberals because in the end they are nothing more than facimilies of real human beings who have no feeling at all? Headline: NY Judge Bans Heterosexual Marriage Valentine's day. St. Valentine is a martyred Christian bishop who opposed the Roman emperor's decree that outlawed marriage. The emperor figured that men were likely to campaign and fight harder in the army if they were not tied down with wives and families. So he ordered that all marriages be vacated and that no couples be allowed to live together as husband and wife. As a model we see ancient Sparta. The Spartans lived in separate houses and scheduled annual breeding to coincide with the seasons. St. Valentine was executed for resisting the decree of the emperor. Because he stood up for marriage he is considered the saint of love and we honor him with chocolate and roses each year on the 14 of February. Maybe this is significant in that no one can readily remember the name of the emperor who ordered him killed but everyone knows the name Valentine. Even if they don't know where the tradition came from. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-05 12:50:48 Top |
Headline: Dems to Stage Spontaneous Hug of Their Own If all else fails Santini you can beg. Practice the puppy eyed look and look hungry, no better yet, ragged and homeless. No wait, I forgot, we're not talking about liberals. Ask nicely and offer to pitch in for the sugar. Conservatives respect that, liberals will simply take the cookies from some one else who has more cookies than they do and give part to you while eating the rest. Of course liberal cookies are dry, stale, and nasty. Ms. RightWing has the good stuff and should be compensated for every crumb so she will be motivated to produce more fine baked goods. Headline: Dems to Stage Spontaneous Hug of Their Own I have found even Union Democrats can laugh at Hillary parodies. Call it anecdotal evidence, but me thinks she will have a real problem if she runs in 2008. As the entire liberal royalty have demonstrated a complete and all consuming failure to see reality I also think they are ripe for the final fall. As long as they persist in the pure denial we are seeing they have no chance of ever recovering their past glory. I am still laughing about November 3rd, and some of the trolls on other blogs have completely stopped posting. Just for fun I might have to go back and find some of the funnier attacks they leveled and of course the predictions they made that failed to pan out. I so love the first amendment. Headline: Dems to Stage Spontaneous Hug of Their Own If you think the liberals are howling now, just wait until the other shoe drops. The President also said his budget would contain cuts and elimination of 150 government programs that are either inefficient, redundant, or out dated. This means actual elimination of (Gasp) Union jobs! The buggy and wagon inspection division of the Federal Transportation and Safety commission are worried. After all, they are the original teamsters. If the President cuts government spending and discharges people who aren’t actually doing anything he will incur the wrath of many. First he talks about and actually proposes letting working people keep their own money! Then he actually proposes cutting government waste! What can he be thinking! Pelosi’s whole face is going to fall off around her Botox injections. I can see the coven now dancing and chanting feverishly around a boiling cauldron in their own “Undisclosed location.” Teddy Kennedy and Kerry will be sacrificing tofu, in a bizarre ritual that includes the George Bush action figure being used as a Voodoo doll. Headline: Dems to Stage Spontaneous Hug of Their Own I should apologize for the “Double parking their brooms joke.” But I can see Hillary, Feinstein, Boxer, and Pelosi riding up to the FDR memorial like a bunch of bikers, backing their brooms into diagonal spaces, and climbing off in a menacing fashion as they head toward the assembled group. As they approach mothers grab up their small children and run, the theme music from the old spaghetti western “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly” pipes up and increases in volume as they stop, turn, and reach for the nearest terrified man. Another Clint Eastwood movie title would better suit this quartet, “For a Few Dollars more.” (I can’t see anything good about this coven and “The bad and the Ugly” doesn’t ring like the original) The menacing voice over of Clint Eastwood comes from Hillary’s mouth as she tells the waiting crowd, “Go ahead, make my day.” Teddy Kennedy sobers up long enough to realize he can afford better and pledges again to get back on the wagon. Kerry glares because he voted for the brooms before he voted against them and Edwards is no longer in the senate to hug him. Of the assembled crowd, the statue of FDR is the most animated. Headline: Dems to Stage Spontaneous Hug of Their Own I can imagine Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton being arrested after this event. I picture the Secret Service having to wrestle down the interns who physically assault these two after being groped. I am sure Reid will have used his Las Vegas contacts to locate attractive women, I.E. Show girls who will be paid with left over funds from Kerry’s failed campaign. Kennedy will attempt to “hug” them all. Hillary, Pelosi, Boxer, and Fienstien, will double park their brooms and rush into the crowd as small children flee in terror. It will resemble the parade scene from the movie “Animal House” after D-Day cuts the rope. "Pinky and The Brain cartoon" come to life. They have a lot of the "Pinky" and very little of "The Brain." This, like most of their ideas is doomed to be a side show as the President and the Republicans set out to actully solve the problems. Posted by Mack on 2005-02-04 08:58:13 Top |
