Headline: Saddam Worried Explosive Cache Now in 'Wrong Hands' ""The Army is not to blame. We were only following the orders of our Democratic Party leadership." And the democrats are running the war while the Commander in Chief, a Republican, is in the White House ? Sheesh, I though Scott Ott was running the Iraqi operation. Headline: Moore Lectures Penn State Students on Film Technique Hey Zummie Boy: Wouldn't you say a man ( Gen Frank ) appointed under the Bush administration to run the war in Iraq, may be a tad biased towards his former boss and perhaps not inclined to reveal what he really observed and thought ? He, Gen Frank, certainly didn't do too good a job guiding the administration about how to handle Iraq after the military crushed Iraq's armies. He also went along with sending troops into battle driving around in inadequately armored vehicles. Posted by John on 2004-10-25 21:14:43 Top |
Headline: Moore Lectures Penn State Students on Film Technique "Have you actually been on the ground in Iraq, and do you dispute the contention of General Tommy Franks, about 75% of our men and women in the military, and of the folks at such sites as iraqthemodel.com that much of the country is stable, that there are but a few regions where the insurgency is stabilized, and that most Iraqui citizens are hopeful for the future and are grateful for our toppling of the Hussein regime? If so, please inform us your experiences in Iraq that contradict the claims of these people." I read otherwise in the International Press daily reports. I suppose you are going to say they are all commie papers or some such. Posted by John on 2004-10-25 21:06:45 Top |

Headline: Moore Lectures Penn State Students on Film Technique I am hardly "undereducated and misinformed" contrary to your opinion. Terrorism has increased and become much more focused since the Bush Administration invaded Iraq under the cover of lies to the public to justify their action. American soldiers are still dying and being crippled for life every day in Iraq ! For what, a pack of lies about WMDs. No point in pussyfooting about on this issue. We have yet to finish our business in Afghanistan because we have foolishly diverted our resources into Iraq !!! Now I suppose you are going to use the classic diversionary assertion that I am unpatriotic and don't give a damn about our troops! Our troops are doing the best they can to follow orders ( that is their job, even when the political types behind the war sent them in unprepared to follow thru on the results to their ultimate harm ),while driving about in underarmored vehicles and getting killed in same because Bush sent our troops in driving vehicles with inadequate armor! Would you want your son driving around Baghdad in one of these death traps ? We were not adequately militarily prepared for Iraq and that is not our military;s fault ! They are doing the best they can considering the handicaps they face on a daily basis. Now we are experiencing increasing difficulty filling our existing military slots with recruits. Doesn't that alone say something about our lack of preparedness from day one ? And we have a President who thinks he is on a mission for God. Whose god may I ask ? There are a ton of different gods out there. Which one has the upper hand ? Posted by John on 2004-10-25 19:47:31 Top |
Headline: Moore Lectures Penn State Students on Film Technique "Hey Johnnie...your info/story about the arms cache is 19 months old...." It doesn't matter how old the story may be - How come we did not protect the explosives and where are they now ? [Being used to blow up (and/or cripple)young American Soldiers that's where they are now]. So is the story about WMD's months old but a lie was a lie was a lie ! The fact is this administration did not prepare properly for the invasion of Iraq and had no plan whatsoever to cope with the terrorism that developed. Because of an administration that does not know what it is doing, Iraq has now become the central focus for worldwide terrorism and many young American soldiers have lost their lives needlessly because of the administrations failure to prepare properly ! The real thing to be afraid of in this country ( Dr Stuhl pay attention here ) and this world is four more years of the Bush administration Posted by John on 2004-10-25 14:44:23 Top |
Headline: Moore Lectures Penn State Students on Film Technique "High placed sources in the Kerry/Edwards camp told me that the Democrats have organized an “ International Coalition of Thugs” to riot and cause havoc across the United States if Kerry loses the election." Headline: Moore Lectures Penn State Students on Film Technique Okay, so what is the Bush Administration's excuse for failing to secure the thousands of tons of explosives now being reported missing? They were given sufficient warning about the need to protect these same explosives. This stuff consists of powerful explosives now being used by terrorists in car and truck bomb attacks. Do you think anyone in the administration is going to 'fess' up to to responsibilty ? Highly unlikely ! Posted by John on 2004-10-25 11:20:23 Top |

Headline: Cat Stevens Detained, 70s Stars Vie to Get on Watch List Cat Stevens did an awful lot of BAD music that no one here seems to know about. Think of albums like "Catch Bull At Four" or "Buddha And The Chocolate Box". They sucked bigtime! The mainstream media use terms like 'pop star turned muslim' etc, but Cat's career was dead in the water long before his "conversion". They should be saying "has-been-turned-muslim" or "former-rock-star-without-a-contract-turned-muslim." Speaking of has-beens, do anyone think Dan Rather is ready for his conversion? Headline: Nation's School Report Card Shows Taxes Are Too Low >>>Teachers do not make much, which is part of the problem... Oh brother. You obviously don't live in the People's Republic of New York. Here, a kindergarden teacher can make upwards of $90,000 and work only 180 days out of the year. Drive around any neighborhood and you can tell where all the cops and teachers live: they have the nicest houses with pools in the backyard and boats in the driveway. It's a local joke, until you look at your property tax bill. I pay $7,500 a year in property taxes for a quarter acre plot. My household income in $46,000 a year. Headline: Jimmy Carter Calls for 'Massive Strike' on Iraq Jimmy Carter bungled the hostage rescue mission. He had no business trying to command the troops himself. He should have allowed the officers on the ground to do so. Before Jimmy Carter, James Madison, in the War of 1812, was the last President to command troops in the field. As the result of Madison's brilliant actions, the British burned the White House and the Capitol. Most future Presidents learned from that experience, but not Jimmy! Headline: Rumsfeld Sorry for 'Axis of Weasels' Remark I am American by birth, and by the grace of God! Our fathers were of old Europe, but we, are not our fathers sons. We built this nation from the ground up. Divine guidance, perseverance and the belief in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, were our tools. We are a generous nation, who is blessed, because we share our blessings with the world. We are a mighty and powerful nation. We will not stand by and watch the rise of another Hitler. You do not try to coax and calm a rabid dog, you destroy it without thought or consideration. During WWII how many of the German occupied countries did not cry for the United States to come to there aid. Puny pathetic little regimes, that thought negotiation and diplomacy would win the day. Yes we are a proud people, we have earned the right. Remember, "Don't Tread On Me". God bless the United States of America. Posted by John on 2003-01-31 12:42:05 Top |

The silly ass insults contained in the above responses can't even be taken seriously. I like France and contrary to common belief about the arrogance and rudeness of the French, I have never been rudely treated. Most people take people as they come and treat them as individuals rather than members of some derided group. However, I am disgusted by French politics -- particularly the hypocrisy of it.
