U.S. Denies Dead Bodies Are Cheech and Chong
by Scott Ott

(2003-07-26) -- The White House today denied that the dead bodies said to be Uday and Qusay Hussein are actually actors Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong.

The comic actors, known together as Cheech and Chong, had a string of low-budget hit movies in the 1970s in which they portrayed clueless marijuana abusers.

"I categorically deny that we have the bodies of Mr. Cheech and/or Mr. Chong," said Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. "Didn't they die in the 80s anyway?"

The actors' publicist said, "I've seen the video from Iraq, and I don't think it's my clients. I stopped by to see Cheech and Tommy this morning. We talked for a while. As far as I can tell, they're still alive."

Ya know, growing up in the country on Montana, we'd put cats like you out of your misery.

I ain't saying anything, but you get my drift?

Caffeine has not kicked in yet, Cat of the Ol' Lynch Family in Colorado (a much better state than this hole of WA, I hear).

Not much in the mood for Cats right now...was up at 4:30 getting mine off the roof...he's a fan of Algore, and isn't terribly bright.

Posted by: The Other Scott at July 26, 2003 10:13 AM

I always used a .22 to get my cats off the roof, out of trees and then it was off to the taxiderm -- collector!

Posted by: c.heston@nra.com at July 26, 2003 10:24 AM

T.O.S. --- Or were you up that early to make SURE you'd post 1st? (:~})

Here..have some catnip! (:~})
Ya got 2 choices about the AlGore cat---exorcise ( yes exOrcise) or how 'bout booking yourselves on Dr. Phil. After that threat you directed at me I can understand why your cat may have been upon the roof, though. Hoping for a rescue by some nice firemen, perhaps??.

WA, CO, OR....ALL obviously desirable and all being converged upon by....well....err...Cassandras' "neighbors" from the PRC and Carolinian ( fr. TX) [former] citizens, too!

WHOA kitty kat! How did that kitty manage to climb up THERE and avoid "shock therapy"?? The expression is almost one of "na na na na naaaa na"...( although the pic is faaaar away). Pretty kitty, too!

I can't go outside here except on the porch. My mom fears I'll become part of the pavement since the drivers down on this rather busy street appear to all be either on the volunteer fire department responding to a call or practicing for NASCAR. I just go out and roll on the porch and eat twigs and whatever else I attack. When the dog is done with her duty I go in knowing I get a treat for all my hard work.

He just climbed on up.

Hey, why don't you try it?

Posted by: The Other Scott at July 26, 2003 01:06 PM

Weird cat thing, additional: the one rescued from the roof this morning is also a ferocious hunter. He brings me, of all things, earthworms.

Posted by: The Other Scott at July 26, 2003 01:18 PM

It's too hot out and we take alot of lightning here in CO. If I want a perm I'll get one from the groomer :~}

It's too easy just to live easy indoors and play out on the porch occasionally.

As for the earthworms. Those are presents your kitty's bringing you! ( wierd presents..but its the thought that counts :~}) If I were human I wouldn't be walking around barefooted though. If the kitty man shows up wearing a hat with flies and lures while bearing worm gifts. It's a hint. He wants to go fishing!.

Could the reason why The Other Scott posts first so often is because he is Scott in the Original?

The times he doesn't post first could just be to throw us off, in a subconscious sort of way, for in addition to abscounding with certain orange feline character, maybe Scott Ott also has a strange desire to see his name posted first to all his stories, but doesn't even know he is doing it. Might Mr. Ott fall into a cheetos induced first posting trance. Thus of couse TOS would likewise not be aware of his role vis a vis Scott in the Original.

Comments Dr. Stuhl?

P.S. By the way whatever happened to lizard transformed pigeon in the Cheech and Chong movies?

Posted by: Jericho at July 26, 2003 07:00 PM

Jericho, this appears to be the right thread for your paranoia.

I am not Mr. Ott, thus the name. Heck, I've even sent him ideas for stories, but he politely rejects them.

The reason I posted first so often this morning two-fold (I count like Howard Dean, it appears):
1. I was up at 4:30 because my cat was on the roof.
2. Mr. Ott posted new stories shortly thereafter--very early, which he normally does not do.
3. I thusly happened upon them at the right time.
4. If you do not believe any of the above, please feel free to believe that it is a vast right-wing conspiracy. And I mean vast. And I do mean right-wing. As Dean would say "from the right-wing of the right-wing of the conspiracy".

Posted by: The Other Scott at July 26, 2003 08:03 PM

Dave's not here.

Posted by: mb at July 26, 2003 08:31 PM

You mean I might have been right, when I posted on the other thread? (U.S. Admits it faked Hussein bros deaths)

The Other Scott: Nice picture, I've always wondered what a 'pole' cat was. Now I know!

Posted by: Do I have to leave my name? at July 27, 2003 02:26 AM

Once I found a mummified squirrel at the top of an electric line. Lesson to LFC, don't let ur tail and ur nose touch two lines at once.

Besides it made for awful jerky... wasn't dry enough.

Posted by: twalsh at July 28, 2003 12:55 AM

TOS - By right wing of the right wing do you mean the tippy tip tip of the last feather of the right wing or the correct wing of the right wing?

Just curious.

By the way, are you a Tacomaite?

Posted by: Jericho at July 28, 2003 03:13 AM

"I wasn't lookin' at his neck, man."

Posted by: some random guy at July 28, 2003 08:51 AM

Jericho,

As for the right wing, the answer is yes.

As for Tacomaite, I'm not sure if that's the correct term. Having grown up in Montana, reminds me too much of Hutterite...Tacoma is nowhere near one of their colonies.

Nor is it Tacomabite, though our city council seems to bite.

Let's just leave it at resident of Tacoma. Leaves me plenty of roaming space.

Posted by: The Other Scott at July 28, 2003 09:52 AM

You guessed Tacoma from the picture of my insane cat linked to my name, didn't you? :-)

Posted by: The Other Scott at July 28, 2003 09:53 AM

TOS - Yes the insane cat was it, also the Wired City email tag provided a small clue.

:-)!

Posted by: Jericho at July 28, 2003 02:14 PM

TOS

I too am from the Peoples Socialist Republic of Tacoma exceeded in perversion only by Seattle (in WA that is). It?s an insane city council ain?t it? And if that?s not enough to [complain] about, what about Chairman Locke?

As many as 70 countries are understood to have been approached by Washington in its trawl for military support.

Several critical of the war snubbed the appeal in public.

At least 24 countries have agreed to contribute.

Even Mongolia and Fiji (HAHAHAHAHA) are participating.

Some participants, such as Honduras and El Salvador, are sending no more than several dozen soldiers.

Fidji, Palau, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Treasure Island (JUST JOKING HAHAHA), Micronesia.

If you take into account each island in the Pacific you have a lot of allies ! (HAHAHAHAHAHA)

The countries involved are mostly small, poor, weak and struggling, Any crumbs of attention and money they can get from the US of America are useful to them.
