If indeed the Christian belief in Jesus as savior is correct, then this means that Muhammad has deceived billions of people since the founding of Islam. This would be Satans finest conquest.
For if indeed Jesus is the “Son of God” and the “only” way to paradise, then it would make all good sense to encourage Muslims to accept Jesus as prophet, but not as their divine savior.
“If” Jesus is savior and more than just a prophet, then Muslims although they revere Jesus, but deny his death on the cross and subsequent resurrection from the dead means that they are still dead in their sins and Satan has won the fight to divert people from attaining salvation through the savior God himself has provided.
If the “only” way to the Father is by accepting Jesus as “God in the flesh” and as the perfect sacrifice God demands to redeem all those who believe, then the deeds of ones own hands becomes vanity at best for God says “All” our good deeds are as filthy rags before him.
If all the good works of our hands are considered as unacceptable to a Holy God no matter what we might think of them, then we see the necessity of a perfect sacrifice which animals or deeds do not suffice.
The questions many may ask are 1) “Did Muhammad really speak to an angel sent to him by God? Or 2) How could he know this angel was of God or one of those fallen angels that fell with Satan?

Satan need only deceive people into believing that Jesus was only a prophet of God to cause them to lose their eternal souls. He need only cause them to deny Jesus as being Son of God and savior to accomplish this. Once a person denies Jesus as personal savior sent by God (being God in the flesh), then Satan has won.
The belief that ones good deeds are weighed against their bad deeds may be tempting, but there is no assurance of ones stance with God. We may be sincere in our beliefs, but at the same time we may be sincerely wrong.
So by deceiving one key charismatic individual Satan has effectively damned billions of individuals through the deception of one single person.
Consider the supporting scripture revealing the person of Jesus:
