Dang! Posted by: Chester Cheetah at July 23, 2003 07:49 PMI wondered how long it would take for Scott's response to that Berzerkly study. Posted by: David at July 23, 2003 07:52 PMGovernment-mandated inoculations, comin' right up! No, ma'am, don't worry about the amount of mercury in this shot... Posted by: The Other Scott at July 23, 2003 08:07 PMpsssst! anyone here seen uncertainty? Don't tell em ya saw me! I'm so aggressively fearful right now that if I even venture close to the other side of the aisle uncertainty's carma will run over my dogma. Can anyone ( other than uncertainty) help me, please. Should I go back to school and pick up some food stamps on the way? My God, at first I thought that that was 100% a joke. But now... sheesh. i have never read or heard of something so condescending in my life. Btw, these I diagnose these Berkley shmucks with bi-polar disorder, in the sense that they are too stupid to figure out that there is more going on in politics than a simple binary liberal-conservative dynamic. consider this, to bring a little education to the debate. when the republican party was formed, they stood for self reliance, free labor, and they supported a war to uphold american values. The meanwhile the dems supported servitude and opposed a war to uphold american values. By contrast today the democrats... um... wait a minute, maybe there is something to this after all. There is no bias in research only B..S "Disparate conservatives share a resistance to change and acceptance of inequality, the authors said. Hitler, Mussolini, and former President Ronald Reagan were individuals, but all were right-wing conservatives because they preached a return to an idealized past and condoned inequality in some form. Talk host Rush Limbaugh can be described the same way." Right-wing conservatives? They call this research? If the "researchers" all were paid on the same scale as a hamburger flipper, then I would say they accept equality at all levels. Racking frackin dddddddddddddooooooooooooh! I will not cuss. Nor think of their tiny pointy heads being devoured by ants, no. How can they read 50,000 pieces of literature and still not see the bias of their research? The irony is at near lethal levels. Posted by: Fr. Guido Sarducci at July 23, 2003 09:12 PMNext comes the cure. I, Dr Bambi-Stokes Hymington, think eight years of President Bill Terwilliger should do the trick, especially if followed immediately by eight years of President Hillary. Let's Role!! Posted by: Dr Bambi Stokes-Hymington at July 23, 2003 09:35 PMBambi... tell us yer gender darlin. No fair peeking neither. Posted by: Fr. Guido Sarducci at July 23, 2003 09:42 PMI have often noticed - and commented upon - the amazing similarities among Hitler, Mussolini and Ronald Reagan. Although R.R. had no "go-to-hell" mustache, a la Hitler; and he had a full head of hair - unlike Benito M.; surely everyone has noticed the similar number of arms, legs, eyes, ears (and presumably "cojones") that could be counted in all three men. When R.R. mounted and dismounted from his helicopter, he often extended his right arm in a sort-of "wave" - easily seen as a carbon copy of the "Sieg Heil" salute. And we all have seen R.R. stand with his head tilted back, and his jaw thrust forth - well! If that's not Mussolini personified - who is it? I am not sure about their philosophies . . . I think R.R. may have been more of a "moderate" than the other two. Hard to say - he WAS the head of a union at one time - and even admitted he had been a (ugh!) Democrat in his youth (before age 60 or so.) Posted by: Poppa Phillip at July 23, 2003 09:54 PMPoppa Phillip, At the risk of identifying myself as a hopeless history geek, as it happens one of the three might have been short one family jewel: Adolf Hitler. And face it, that would explain alot, now wouldn't it? Really this noxious reductio ad Hitler logic has got to be reigned in a little. Btw, where does Stalin fit into all this? A left wing dictator for sure. Don't worry, they will quickly be laughed out of the business and thus will be utterly discredited. Aaron Posted by: Aaron at July 23, 2003 10:45 PMThirteenth! Posted by: Rev. Alfred Sharpness-sans at July 24, 2003 03:42 AMWhy should this be a medicare program? Wouldn't we be better served if it where a CHIPs program? Gotta catch them young, ya know. Posted by: Jericho at July 24, 2003 03:44 AMThis study seems to be very strange. Here, in Brazil, I can identify many of the so-called brazilian 'liberals' in US's vocabulary (here, 'liberals = liberais' is used as US's word for 'conservatives'...) . What could we do without UCBerkeley's study? :-) Posted by: brazilian, but not stupid at July 24, 2003 06:12 AMAnother one teed up and knocked out of the park. LMAO! Posted by: Pooke at July 24, 2003 10:39 AMHey Reverend! You packed and ready to head to Liberia? Okay, in order to be ìfair and balancedî and in the absence of Dr. Stuhl, I will attempt a quick analysis of the psychological make-up of a liberal. The major symptoms of liberalism include: • Arrogance; inability to see viewpoints of others Examples of liberalism would include: The above research was qualified by several years of watching Crossfire and Hannity and Colmes. Goodbye, minutes! Posted by: Carolinian at July 24, 2003 11:18 AMMy G*d! I thought the comments by 'Dr Bambi Stokes-Hymington' were sarcastic - you mean that was serious!? I knew people hated America, but I had no idea that those same people really, truly wanted to see us go straight to Hell. Posted by: Never, Ever, Ever Hillary at July 24, 2003 12:02 PMWhere are we going, and what are we doing in this handbasket? Posted by: mj larkins at July 24, 2003 02:02 PMOops. I meant to say that I wrote an email response to the Berzerkley Bulletin. Still no response from them. Posted by: joylily at July 24, 2003 04:22 PMthey're ignoring you because your email is obviously based on fear and aggression, terror management, dogmatism and need for cognitive closure. Posted by: Cassandra at July 24, 2003 07:22 PMHehehehe. Cassandra brings up the real kicker here- people are going to use this, with a straight face, to create the most embarrassing logical loop-the-loop in the history of debate. Your conservative views are feuled by your mental illness. Because you've been confirmed mentally ill, your insistance that the Berkely assertations are illogical only proves our point. Which is more or less how they're going to be reading your e-mails. Posted by: HitNRunI95 at July 25, 2003 12:32 AMmmmm - Terror Management! Posted by: Dark Riders at July 25, 2003 06:28 AMThe lack of intelligent life on US college campuses is made painfully apparent by this study. Do you think if we all pointed at them and laughed uproariously, they would get the point? Doubt it. Posted by: Tex at July 25, 2003 02:24 PMTex: Hey! Just don't point at me. Point at the far-far-far-far-far-leftist-socialists who run my college's library. I heard the most tolerant comment from one of them. "Oh, great, here comes that right-winger!" (not in response to me - they saw a conservative faculty member coming their way. If only they'd known that there were THREE right-wingers present - him, me, and my brother.) They had been discussing the war in Iraq and how nasty the "Shrub" was. You get the idea. Posted by: Ken Stein at July 25, 2003 07:35 PMSounds a lot like Nazi Germany and the Russian Gulags, Don't laugh too much at these sick people. Keep your eye on them.
