First iLoo Blogger Feels Performance Pressure

(2003-05-08) -- The author of the first weblog written entirely from the new iLoo web-enabled portable toilet, said he feels pressured to gather his thoughts and write quickly.

"There's not time for long thoughtful essays," said the creator of www.portaloo.blogspot.com. "I have to get in, get it down, upload and get out, because there's always someone out there knocking at the door."

The iLoo blogger said he resents having to shut down his Moveable Type blogging application just so "some clown can check his Hotmail account." However, he said he knows the challenges.

"I can't be discouraged by the obstacles," he said. "I blog from the loo not because I want to, but because it's a calling....nature's calling, if you will."

Although the first iLoo blogger felt some performance pressure, the second iLoo blogger had no shame whatsoever. The Frenchman, who has left more than his fair share verbal diarrhea on the popular website known as ScrappleFace, was able to produce such copious quantities of fecal material that a plumber was called to unclog the loo.

"Oh yeah, we see their types all the time," commented Phil, the plumber from Roto-Rooter. "What they talk is remarkably the same as what I have to unclog."

Conservative bloggers have to get in and out fast, so their legs don't fall asleep!
Dims and Libs, (i.e. frenchman and J.Liberal), must get in and out fast, as their brains will fall asleep, they defecate from the other end!

Good Grief,
Now the libs can unload on us from both ends at once.

My thoughts:
Ten bucks says the guy making "iLooted an iLoo" shirts at Pepsi/Rapestock 2003 makes more money than MSN and the guy selling the stolen plasma screen combined.

Great, now homless people can run their own website. Just what was microsoft thinking? Where will their revenues come from. And when will the justice department step in to declare that this monoply of "pisser pc's" is a threat to our nation's well being.

The iLoo is actually better suited for home use, thus giving us quick readers something to do when the Readers Digest© is completed mid-month.

As far as computers and cyber communications are concerned, the amount of paper saved using this type of technology is astronomical......

But then again your average European never uses paper in the loo anyhoo.

Also gives new meaning to the old axiom "Necessity is the mother of invention"

Justin,

I didn't see your post. Sorry.

But that does beg the question..

If you consistently have hard consonants, and then have a sudden vowel movement, will you still have a healthy web log?

The war is winding down, and Saddam Hussein is no longer in power. Why does it still matter how it started and what arguments were made beforehand?

It matters because the threat from Iraq was the whole basis of selling the war to the American people.

It's very possible that they thought if they made a public argument on the basis of Saddam Hussein's being a bad guy the public really wouldn't care enough to endorse a war.

What they could do to mobilize public opinion was suggest that Saddam was involved in generating weapons of mass destruction, whose mere existence could potentially be a threat to us, and allow people to believe that he was involved in 9/11.

If it is true that this Administration deliberately, from the very beginning, understood that the best way to mobilize the American people was to present Saddam as a direct national-security threat to us, without having the evidence beforehand that he was, that's, well, frankly, lying.

That's the worst kind of deceit a President can practice. We don't elect our President to not tell us the real situation of the world, particularly when he sends kids to kill and be killed.

Colin -

how do I say this politely? you need to become informed. Read a newspaper BESIDES the New York Times. Watch a newsprogram DIFFERENT than CNN. Because you will learn some important facts.

A President's responsibility is to protect the American people. There is a connection between al Queda and Iraq. Iraq had admitted to chemical and biological weapons programs in the early 90's and admitted to nuclear WMD programs after his scientists defected to the United States in the late 90's. France supplied weapons and intelligence to Iraq in direct violation of UN sanctions right up to the start of the three week war. Iraq has already used chemical and biological weapons against Iran and against its own people. al Queda has already attacked the United States many times, from the first WTC attack, to embassy bombings in Africa, to the attack on the USS Cole, to the most recent attacks on the Trade Center and the Pentagon. Do you wait for the mushroom cloud above Times Square to become convinced or do you remove Saddam's WMD's and prevent them from getting into the hands of people who have a devout, pathological hatred of all non-muslims and have sworn a death oath to kill all the infidels?

We tried the UN/inspections/embargo route for 12 years. 17 resolutions were passed by the UN security council demanding that Iraq disarm their WMD program. Not only was Iraq flouting and ignoring these resolutions, so were France, Germany and Belgium. Gee, I wonder why they didn't want the US to go into Iraq... (pssst, it's because we'd find out how much illegal dealing they've been doing with Saddam all these years...)

I too despise Presidents that lie (see Clinton, William Jefferson, 42nd President of the United States). When the irrefutable truth is soon disclosed, will you retract your slanderous statements as loudly and as publically as you made them?
