House-straddling tarantulas, mosquitoes the size of German shepherds, ants with the speed and mass of a diesel locomotive — all of these threats and more face humanity unless delegates to the Copenhagen Climate Conference agree on the wording of a treaty that would put an end to greenhouse gases once and for all, according to two well-known climate scientists.

Well, that's nothing new…we already have mosquitoes as big as German Shepherds!
I realize it's anecdotal but we are unseasonably cold up here….I am casting my vote FOR glow-ball warming!!

The Copenhagen Climate Summit has brought together in one place numerous jet-puffed cockroaches that cannot tolerate the disinfectant power of sunshine.

Heh, my legitimate word for a type of vermin was edited automatically as an offensive word.

For many decades, graphic evidence has been available chronicling insane mutant insects devouring the inhabitants of our planet. For example, I remember this documentary footage from my childhood days.
It won't be long before those mutant ants are as big as houses, so we might as well exhale.
Talk about job security! Measuring an ant every one hundred years. Ant technician, degree required.

Scare tactics are nothing new to the "in"(sane) crowd. Sounds like another 50's era "B" movie…

WASHINGTON - The top Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is questioning whether the United States is focusing on the right country in it's war against the Taliban and the al-Qaida terrorist network.
Where as Lugar 7 or 8 years ago when we needed him?

I would rather face the giant mutant insects than the blood sucking parasites currently swarming in Copenhagen.

Bangkok, Thailand is spelt wit k's.
Any filtering software is going to have its glitches.
It is cute, we will get over it.
More importantly I have started my own company that hybridizes Aspergillus niger(The primary enzyme ingredient in Beano) with common ryegrass. At only 12$ per pound this genetically altered product can reduce bovine flatulance by 70% (hat tip: RAM) This will reduce the carbon footprint of ranchers and most Mosai villagers by the same percentage and save trillions in carbon credits. At 15 pounds required per acre it will also cost trillions of real and actual dollars to plant, but think of the children! THE CHILDREN! You must mortgage their future for their future or else!
