Just hours before he started his “White House to Main Street” jobs tour with a visit to Lehigh County, Pa., President Obama reportedly told top advisers he was “shocked at the level of ignorance among the common people regarding what it takes to generate jobs,” according to unnamed aides.

The second paragraph starts with:
"The tour is billed as an opportunity to get the president out of the White House-"
For the first time since Barry has been Prez, there is something I can fully agree with the administration on, the sooner he gets out of the White House, the better for our Country, the economy, and our HOPE for the future!!!

Hey Scott. Since the Prez was in your neighborhood, did you get real excited and run out to meet him with warm wishes? (:D)

I'll be part of the local TV news operation's coverage of the presidential visit. You can watch it online. They asked me to arrive at the studio at about 11 a.m. and I'll be there until about 1 p.m. We'll do a pre-speech session, and then post-speech analysis. More info here.

Thanks for the link Scott. I went and checked it out. (:D)

Great job Scott! I thought you fared well against that academic weenie. Those self-righteous, pompous blowhards need to be put in their place, and I think you went a good ways towards doing that.
(And I'm glad you "don't give a rip"… for a moment there I was afraid you were going to say something else.)

Full Disclosure:
I posted an unamended version of this elsewhere:
Scott, you have a gift for depicting the innate hatefulness of BHO, quintessential elitist control-freak that he is.
He slaps us in the face. He expects us to like it. Meanwhile, all around him such a cauldron of fire and brimstone boils, that it makes The China Syndrome appear as a mere zit.

It's astonishing, the way these peons consider themselves capable of handling complicated, economically essential functions like job creation all by themselves, without the benevolent assistance and guidance of government. Good thing we have universal sex education in all the educational institutions now, or the lower classes would doubtless forget how to breed and become extinct.
Shocking. Just shocking …

Through Jay Rockefeller's "Cybersecurity bill", Obama is trying to control the Internet and if this act/bill passes he will have complete control to shut it down anytime he wants!
The ACLJ (Jay Sekulow's group), (no, not the ACLU, who should be all over this), has a petition to sign to send to your Senators. There have been less than 3000 people sign this so PLEASE get the word out on this! Go to the link, then click on the drop down box, and it is the second one on the list (Cyber Security Act.). You may want to sign others like taking the abortion funding out of the Obamacare bill.

In the olden days, there was a song that was part of everyone's repertoire entitled Money (1959) [Berry Gordy/Janie Bradford---Motown's first hit]. For years, you couldn't go to a dance or a club without hearing that tune at least once.
You could do the Twist to it, maybe throw in some Watusi; highlighted with some impromptu James Brown-like moves, of course.

Sigh. Where are the soul tunes of yester-year? Where are the soul singers of yester-year ?

"The tour is billed as an opportunity to get the president out of the White House, where he's been holed up for nearly a full working day…"
Heh. Good one. I'm with RAM1, though; getting Barry Hussein Obama out of the White House can't happen soon enough for me. I like the bumper sticker I heard about: "Pray for Obama, Psalms 109:8"
("Let his days be few; and let another take his office" -KJV)

Great prayer Camojack!
It took me years to realize that when God commands us to pray for our leaders, HE does NOT mean, (if their intents are for evil), to pray that he prosper, rather to pray that Obama/other evil politicians turn their hearts over to THE ONLY TRUE, LIVING GOD, and HIS will for our Country and HIS people!!!
IF, we pray for Obama to prosper, we are in opposition to GOD and HIS word, that commands us to bless, (NOT curse), Israel, and to NOT murder babies!
That is ONLY two of the evil things this devil is for!
16 JamesonLewis3rd // Dec 7, 2009 at 1:58 pm
Precisely. We should pray for them to seek Almighty God's will.
"Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God." ~~1Peter 2:16

Harry Reid truly belongs inn a mental institution instead of being the majority leader of one of the three branches of our government!
God help us that ANYONE would NOT be outraged by this especially blacks!!!

Now that Carbon Dioxide has been ruled so toxic as to ensure the imminent doom of each and every form of life on this planet, I am considering investing in a Green Device.

In point of fact, my daily prayer commences with a petition for the President and all the world's leaders, that they would seek to do God's will…

Heh guys. You all have been on my heart this morning and I just dropped in to see what condition your condition was in. I am so sorry for my absence - not that my absence is of great import - but I have missed you! My business has taken off and since it is the Christmas Season, I am running like a rabbit. It is fun, fun, fun, but very scary with the atmosphere of small business hatred that permeates this administration!
Laughed myself silly over this post, Scott. I can assure you that I started my endeavor exactly 1 year and one month ago by lobbying Congress for the millions of stimulus dollars that I didn't get. I had to dig into my own bank account for the seed money. But I am still waiting to hear from Washington in hopes that I was just overlooked by a technicality!!
25 boberinyetagain // Dec 8, 2009 at 2:06 pm
CAT, great to hear that business is good, congratulations!!!
26 conserve_a_tip // Dec 8, 2009 at 2:51 pm
Thanks Boberin! It's fun too. Getting to meet lots of very nice people. This country is pretty special because of its people, you know? You watch the idiots in DC and get discourgaged, but it is the regular people out doing everyday things that make this country what it is.

Our people are our only hope! I fear our ability to overcome adversity has only been minimally tested to date…much harder tests to come but, we are a resilient bunch so there is still much reason to hope!

RAM : Part of Prince Harry's rant - When this body was on the verge of guaranteeing equal civil rights to everyone, regardless of the color of their skin, some senators resorted to the same filibuster threats that we hear today.
No, no, no Harry! They didn't just threaten - they actually filibustered! Senator Robert Byrd, D-WV, who is now the longest serving Senator, and former Senate Leader of the Democratic Party, filibustered the Civil Rights Act for 14 hours in 1964. I would post more information about the racists, past and present, of the Democratic Party, but IntenseDebate doesn't handle lengthy posts that well …

Hey there, c-a-t! Are you back for a while now?
Should we kill the fatted tofurkey ? ?
30 conserve_a_tip // Dec 8, 2009 at 5:09 pm
Fatted Tofurkey??? I don't THINK so!! Eeewwww. I want to check in as much as possible. Right now I am filling orders and trying not to panic. God is blessing us in full measure! Getting ready to head out to Atlanta and so will have more time to catch up then. So glad to see everybody on here. Catch ya later!
31 boberinyetagain // Dec 8, 2009 at 5:15 pm
Not one to quibble (right) but wouldn't that be the "non-fatted" tofurkey…by definition?
32 conserve_a_tip // Dec 9, 2009 at 7:34 am
It's 1:31 am and I'm filling orders, printing invoices and trying to stay awake. Maybe I need some Obama stimulus. Oh wait. That doesn't sound good. That's just icky. But then, so is the stimulus/porkulus.
