ScrappleFace editor-in-chief Scott Ott just wrote his first [non-satirical] piece for PajamasMedia.com. Here’s a brief excerpt with a link to read more.
Howard Kurtz, in his August 24 Washington Post column (“Journalists, Left Out of The Debate”), calls big journalism’s failure to knock down Sarah Palin’s “death panel” charge “a stunning illustration of the traditional media’s impotence.”
As you may have noticed, the “traditional” media recently morphed from administration critics into a pro bono public relations firm for the White House. It happened on or about January 20, 2009. Now, they’re flummoxed by their failure to refute a woman they believe has the communications savvy of a pimento.

Oh, would that sense were common!

Sarah Palin's Facebook postings are well-thought-out and fact-supported criticisms of this administration's and its Leftist Congressional lackeys' intent to explode the reach of the federal government in our lives. No wonder Palin's objections resonate with the American electorate that jealously guard their liberties. Her postings have gone viral.
Sarah Palin is a thorn to Obamao and the media that allow him to live in a bubble of adulation.
The fact of the matter is that funding for this panel was already approved in the Porkulus Bill. When Dr. Obamao talks about ethicists being part of the decision-making process in determining end-of-life counseling, the rationing of care, and the cost/benefit of health protocols, he reveals himself through his past legislation and past remarks to be a total hypocrite and destroyer of the meaning of words

"Now, they’re flummoxed by their failure to refute …"
I'd go beyond that, Scott. Sarah Palin's detractors believe that their juvenile name-calling actually does refute her statements. What has them flummoxed is what they see as our failure to accept ad hominems as sufficient arguments.

To say nothing of their vacuous talking points.

Oh! I'm devastated, SS! The clarity of your argument is irrefutable!

Yapping Points, to be precise.

Libs like L@Y continuing to mock Sarah Palin will IN FACT make her more popular than she is now. (Especially when they cannot even give GWB a rest from their mocking, while the FOOL they elected continues to dismantle America!)
Keep it up fools, she will be the GOP nominee and next President in 2012 thanks in part to your foolishness. Mark my words!

Fools! "….But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell." Matthew 5:22 (NIV)

Leave it to a FOOL to take Scripture out of context.
After all, blind fools like this think going to Church on Sunday will absolve them of their abortions, homosexuality, lies, covetness, etc, etc, so why wouldn't they think they can understand Scripture and twist it as if it were the U. S. Constitution?
Like they know/knew what these great men had in mind only about two hundred years ago, let along two THOUSAND years ago.

Probably drinking a "Ritz Side Car" with his chubby, rich, college "edge-u-ma-cated" buddy AK.

Then, "divide" the verse for me please, that I might also know The Truth.
17 RAM1 // Aug 25, 2009 at 10:45 pm
OK, but this will be the LAST time I feed ANY of you trolls.
Here is the verse according to the King James Version which doesn't have KEY WORDS like "without cause" omitted.
Matthew 5:22 (King James Version)
22But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Now please tell me/us how liberals/Obama-bots can justify baby murder, legalizing drugs, "spreading the wealth around" (i.e. COVETNESS), and a thousand other things GOD says NOT to do? If you voted for Obama KNOWING his stance on these things, YOU are the one in danger of hellfire!
If the answer is too long, post several times-OK?

Personally, I think that Sarah is Uncommonly Sensible.
(Kind of like yours truly…)

Excellent post, Sir Scott. Once again you go right to the heart of the matter. Americans can intuit that there's something wrong with the health care bill, even if they haven't read the fine print. The more they hear about it, the less they like it.
(:D) Best regards…
