1931? Did they have sounds back then. Every time I watch an old Buster Keaton or Fatty Arbuckle they just move their lips and make funny faces. I thought the whole world was mute in them olden days.

Seriously though, this may go down as being the most famous recordings since the Hindenburg crash.

And here is hoping the hurricane doesn’t hit St. Paul.

Hi, Ms RW! R We having fun yet ?

Scott, I’ll try just about anything once ; but let me state for the record, right up front, that I am in Dial-Up Hell (not cable, not DSL ; old-style bring-bring preceding strange 50’s-style wheeeeeeeeeeee … ), so I’ll be back around 3AM or so to do the actual download. Hang in there ; hope the hurricance does not result in unforseen delays. Enjoy yourself …

Hats off to the friends who sent me all of the articles submitted by the MSM on Governor Palin. Clearly their Titanic has hit the iceberg and they know it. Ok, they shot a hole in their rowboat and think it is the Titanic. Obama picked Joe Biden and still clings to the notion he wants to bring “Change” to Washington.” Dream on.

The empty suits are out matched and they know it. As most of us know voter turnout decides elections. The more the MSM attacks our ticket the more shallow their favored party will appear. By launching half truth attacks on a decorated veteran and a woman candidate who beat a sitting Republican governor in the primaries and won election based on reform, only to deliver on her promises after election. They are done and they know it.

Obama and his crowd are throwing a tantrum now. I am going to work for this campaign after all. I went to bat hard to get President Bush elected and re-elected. If the rest of the conservatives out there are as jazzed about the turn of events this week as I am then I pity the left. We just might take back the house and senate too. Nancy Pelosi got booed and chanted off the stage the other day with the chant of “Drill here drill now.” Her response was to tell the crowd they were puppets of big oil. I think the libs are in for another round of therapy after November.

Five by five, sir! The MSM may have better technology, but we’ll be getting the best coverage.

Count on the prayers of this household — and undoubtedly many others — for both you and your family as you share your eyes, ears, thoughts and time with us. I hope you have the opportunity to interview the next two Presidents of the United States.

Kudos to us at Scrappleface for jumping at the chance to send our most famous small town guy to the convention to represent us!

It is a glorious day, isn’t it.

For the first time in 6 mo. I can say I am proud of my party.

The way they keep comparing their #1 with our #2 is interesting.

Personal responsibility obviously has no place in BO’s campaign.

Imagine if he were to be given the reins of this country. He’d have a ball—a non-stop blame-fest with a host of finger-pointing targets.

Neverthink, re: your comment #61, 2 threads back:

It may be true that Mr. Shepard should not joke about prayer, but I’m sure it’s even more true that one should not vote for someone who believes it is a matter of personal choice whether an unborn child lives or dies in the womb. Your candidate cannot even condemn partial birth abortion or support the “botched abortion born alive act”. You are so good at quoting the Bible, find some scripture to support that… hypocrite!!! I think you and your candidate are in more danger of God’s wrath than Mr. Shepard.

    Regards,

Excerpt from OneNewsNow - just in…….

American Life League (ALL) president Judie Brown says Catholic bishops dropped the ball.

“Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives for the United States of America, gave the Catholic bishops of America a golden opportunity to be forthright and to say that they would enforce Canon Law 915 and deny Holy Communion to pro-abortion Catholics like Pelosi,” Brown explains. “The bishops failed, once again, to use this opportunity to teach the truth about what the [Catholic] Church teaches. I find this appalling.”

From its earliest days, Christianity has considered abortion evil. The catechism of the Catholic Church declares, “This teaching has remained unchanged and remains unchangeable.”

New York Cardinal Edward Egan says Pelosi and others who defend abortion “should not be providing leadership in a civilized democracy.”

I wonder how it would go if every Catholic Priest in America asked each person, “Are you a member of the Democrat Party?” Every person answering ‘yes’ would be told…..”As an apostate from the Catholic Religion, you are denied the sacrament of Holy Communion.”

    apostate |əˈpĂ€sˌtāt; -tit|
    noun
a person who renounces a religious or political belief or principle.

I believe membership in a political organization that avidly promotes abortion should be sufficient to qualify as apostasy.

    JL3 Re #1 & #2 in #9 — 10-4.

Also interesting how they inadvertently confirm the fact their #1 is inexperienced, though our #2 has years of *executive* experience, the kind that matters.

Yes. It’s all built on Irony, isn’t it…..

  • 15 gafisher // Sep 1, 2008 at 7:35 am

Maybe Hillary’s behind it. Imagine her standing pensively before her Irony Board, working diligently to flatten her opponent …
