(2008-08-16) — Sen. Hillary Clinton has reportedly granted Sen. Barack Obama’s request for a speaking role at the Democrat National Convention in Denver this month, after Sen. Obama supported her demand for a roll-call vote on her own nomination.
“We are very grateful to Hillary for this opportunity to address the convention,” said Sen. Obama. “Let’s be honest: We all know who wears the pants in this party, and the pant suits. She didn’t have to do this for me, but her willingness to grant me a significant role in Denver shows how committed she is to unifying the party behind a single leader.”
Supporters of Sen. Obama said his handling of this intra-party crisis demonstrates his strengths as commander in chief, noting that his secret to quickly resolving conflicts is to simply give the other party what they want.
“When a world power, Russia or Iran for example, causes trouble and makes unreasonable demands, President Obama will launch boldly into dialog and make sure the enemy gets what’s coming to them,” said one unnamed Obama aide. “In Obama’s America, we will lay down our weapons and take up the torch of conciliatory diplomacy. In addition to smoother international relations, we’ll also save a ton of money, because compared with weapons, talk is cheap.”

My wife’s grandpa is an old fashioned union Democrat. He was raised a union Democrat and usually just votes a strait Democrat ticket. He’s in and out of the voting booth an 10 seconds flat. But not this time. He is actually going to vote for McCain.
Hillary was rude when he waited a long time to see her at some event and Obama is a Socialist. He knows this he tells me from one of the union people. So Hillary is already using her surrogates to sabotage Obama. That is how the Clintons operate.
I loved the movie “The Clinton Chronicles.” Everyone should see it. But few seem to. Liberals claim it is a sham attack on Bill and Hillary, pity they quote verified facts and that people actually died making this film.

White flags. Hmm, I do wonder if they recall one of the old Confederate Battle flags was a complete white back ground with the stars and bars in the corner. I saw a replica of one shown in Time magazine at a Klan rally.

Hey,it’s the demoncrats. Priority will be given to drill near poorly producing, or non-producing wells. If we drill and actually decrease dependence on our enemy’s oil and bring down crude prices it would be bad for their “changed” America.
