(2008-05-05) — Sen. Barack Obama admitted today that he stopped wearing an American flag lapel pin out of fear that friend and domestic terror group founder William Ayers would “step on my chest.”
The revelation comes after a photo of Mr. Ayers standing on the flag resurfaced from a 2001 article in Chicago Magazine.
“This guy ran the Weather Underground which declared war on the U.S.,” said Sen. Obama, “Bill Ayers conducted a campaign of bombings and riots before he helped me launch my first political campaign. With a resume like that, I’m not about to taunt him by wearing a flag on my lapel. I’d hate to have to explain the footprint to my dry cleaner.”

RedState has some interesting commentary on an article in The Washington Post which (no kidding) considers BO as patriotic as Ronald Reagan.
That guy sarcastically said, “Please.”
I say puh-LEEEZ, gimme a break.

Too bad someone doesn’t step on Bill Ayers !
Perhaps we could get Will Smith to reprise that scene from Men In Black …

I pray for President Bush - all of Congress - all of the Supreme Court Justices and every one connected with government.
Although I’m praying for HillBilly, Inc., and B. Hussein Obama due to their roles as Senators, I additionally pray for those two and John McCain primarily because the Bible says to do so.
Matt. 5:44 “But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you
Luke 6:28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

JL 3rd #2 - Obama IS every bit as patriotic as Ronald Reagan.
Ronald Reagan was passionately patriotic about America.
Obama is just as passionately patriotic about The United Socialist Republic of America that he intends to create.
Nikita Kreuschev bragged, “We will bury you!”
“I have every confidence America can defeat the enemy at the gates.
My worry is whether America has what it takes to defeat the enemy within our gates.” - Joseph Farah
Michael Savage’s - “The Enemy Within” details all of the gruesome details. The only requirement for their success is for Complacent (It can’t happen here) Conservatives to simply continue in their complacency.
So, perhaps not in the way Kreuschev envisioned, but just as God made little green apples to hang on a tree and ripen, Socialism/Communism is ripening at an ever increasing pace.
If anyone disagrees, they need only stay home in protest this November and consequently give the Democrats one more vote they needn’t cover.

Short and sweet and very funny. I laughed out loud just reading the headline. Well done, Scott.
I think that Global Warming, er Global Climate Change, began with the Weather Underground. Subversion and hoaxes have a long history with those Marxists, bent on cowing us into submission to their power-grabbing goals.

Let’sface it friends, the reason B Hussein Obama doesn’t want to wear a US Flag pin or Salute the American Flag or say the Pledge of Allegence or sing the National Anthem ,is he doesn’t want all his Leftist Liberal Backers,Mentors and Friends to criticize him. They matter more to him than the American people , you know ,all us in Flyover Country who drive pickup trucks(with gunrack)and go to Church on Sunday. Oh I know ,Obama went to Church, but just to be seen and to have something to refer to , not because he has any Faith or Belief in God..
It is not whether he wears the pin or not , it is the contempt he shows for this Country and it’s Citizens,by not wearing it. He is flipping us the Finch.

I think it’s a travesty that traitorous, terrorist scum like William Ayers and his equally evil wife, Bernadine Dohrn, aren’t serving life sentences in prison. In associating closely with these openly anti-American evildoers, along with the anti-American, anti-Semitic, racist Wright, Obama tells us where his loyalties lie. That’s the real reason Barry doesn’t wear a “flag pin.” Why express a national loyalty he doesn’t subscribe to? And, that’s why his not wearing a flag pin matters to people who love this country.

cj #11 - I doubt that if nominated she can win, but, if she should win, I’ll be forced to accept that God puts whomsoever He wills on the “throne”.
Perhaps He might do something like that just to see whether or not there is anybody left that’s awake here in the wonderful United States He gave us. I have to admit that as a people, we haven’t been very prudent stewards.
Except for Noah and kin, He didn’t hesitate to wipe out the earth’s entire population. He allowed His “Chosen People” to live in slavery for 400 years in Egypt. More recently He allowed, once again His “Chosen People” to lose over 6 million people in Nazi Germany.
But it seems they, at last “got the message” and it’s only certified fools (ala “The six day war”) that are nuts enough to screw with Israel today. Because they will dress you up in a coat of “real serious hurt”, if you’re crazy enough to try.
I think they’ve got such a coat fitted for Iran and they’re aching to make a personal delivery. Soon!

I’d say it’s a BO Consensus (patent not applied for):
Just when you thought BO couldn’t get much worse, BO does and his wife reeks in a similar manner—they emit the aroma of Marx, Lenin, Stalin and endless copycats.

An article on Ben Smith’s Blog at Politico leads me to believe that The Hill & Bill Show are setting the stage for an invasion of the Middle East, considering her recent rantings regarding the obliteration of Iran.

Last I heard, nearly 50% of the voters said there’s no way they ever vote for Hillary…so she’d have to get every single one of the rest to vote for her, unless a third candidate siphons off votes.
That is, after all, how her husband got elected…

The idea of John McCain in the White House is a lesser abomination.

The not-so-subtle implication by BO that the Wright/Ayers/Dohrn/Rezko/satan connections are “much ado about nothing” demonstrates to me that, not only are these umbilicals something he can’t talk his way out of, he can’t talk his way out because he’s not.
It is quite clear to me that, while BO will viciously kick his white-haired, white-skinned, White Grandmother to the curb and then do the Bristol Stomp her, he will never denounce any of his pinko comrades; not due to some trendy, ethereal, faux pseudo-familial connection, but because BO actually is one of them.

The same identical test conclusively demonstrates that B. Hussein Obama “actually is one of them.” I don’t know what methodology you used to reach the same conclusion but it probably was about the same as my duck. ???

Flag earrings…now something like that would show that McCain is really serious about this thing. Until then…I’m not so sure.
Perhaps the number and location of piercings and the nature of the jewelry dislayed therin should be mandated the ONLY valid measure af a candidates seriousness.
I suppose the candidates willingness to show said piercings might factor in, this could get quite confusing.

RE: #21~~
Heirborn Ranger~~
For me, there was an aroma that wafted up my nose when the Wright matter became public (and this on top of what I already knew about Rezko, Ayers and Dohrn) and BO was tap-dancing full-throttle, never actually repudiating what any of those people stand for.
BO didn’t pass the “Smell Test” (a “Duck Test” variant) because:
By voluntarily hanging out with such vile company, he carries their stench wherever he goes.
By allowing his “Pastor’s” words to [de facto] become his, he has denied the Word of God and condoned a psychopathic racism which reeks with a hatred much of the citizenry of this country is unfamiliar.
By denying the value of Patriotism, he puts BO above The United States of America.
He personifies how the Civil Rights Movement (and, to a large extent, the Anti-War Movement) was high-jacked, back in the day, by the effete ideology of intellectual weaklings who, now, have nearly positioned themselves (via their puppetry skills) to effectively tear our Constitution to shreds.
While I’m looking forward to being entertained by the prospective Elitist cage match in Denver, I do so with some trepidation—I might end up watching as The Dream [of our Founding Fathers and of our own fathers] completely unravels.

It’s gone now, but it was fun while it lasted. DRUDGE ran a MSNBC video clip of a 17 year old girl from England who videoed her trip with her father to the North Pole. “40 below zero”
As she is documenting the horrors of Global Warming with shots of icebergs breaking off from glaciers and falling into the sea, lo and behold, floting by on a cake of ice are two Emperor Penguins busy playing.
I revisited the site and under the video is an underbar, explaining that MSNBC has edited out the penguin scene. Rats!

I am thinking that there may be some “moderates” out there that are going to come to the conclusion that the “D” party has no viable candidate, no matter which one slithers into the nomination. But being “moderate” (liberals in total denial) they cannot feel good about themselves voting for McDraino especially with his pro-war and pro-constitutionalist SCOTUS lipservice and even Fred Thompson believes he will nominate good people. So what do they do? How can they “feel” safe in voting for such a person? (Sidebar: WOW is BO ever appearing to be the embodiment of symbolism over substance.) Well, how about if we start a campaign to help them feel safe? Maybe if they wear a condom, or carry one in their pocket, it will help them feel “safe” enough to vote for McCain.
43 mindknumbed kid // May 6, 2008 at 8:50 pm

45 mindknumbed kid // May 6, 2008 at 8:57 pm
Maybe instead of a condom they could request a blindfold to wear while voting, with the mindset of so many of the libminded voters, it might just be in our (the sane ones) best interest to allow it.
46 JamesonLewis3rd // May 6, 2008 at 9:27 pm
Given the store of data (to date) regarding BO (with reactionary emotionalism filtered out and dealing strictly with the facts), there can be but one Logical Conclusion regarding his elitist affiliations: He is a sympathizer at the very least but is, more likely, the living, breathing prototype of the insidious, mind-controlled infiltrator we feared in the 1950’s whose only goal in life is to destroy the United States and set up a society of slaves.
Sounds melodramatic, but there it is.
47 JamesonLewis3rd // May 7, 2008 at 6:29 am
At first glance it may seem that I have an unhealthy preoccupation with BO.
My focus, however, is not on the man himself; he is, quite obviously, deluded on many levels.
My fascination is with the paradigm shift he represents in the anthropological timeline from WWII to the present.
~~~~~
Sometime in the last 12 hours I heard somebody on FNC trying to tell me that “Working Class” was somebody-or-other’s “code” for “Lower Class” and that they are rightly called “Middle Class”.
Well, to the best of my recollection, 5-6 decades ago (in Columbus OH, anyway), the working class was the middle class and a working man was far, far prouder to be of the Working Class than he was to be of the Middle Class.
