Hamas Backs Obama, Other 'Superdelegates' to Follow

by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 92 Comments · · Print This Story Print This Story

(2008-04-17) — The chief political adviser to the Prime Minister of Hamas on Sunday said the terror group would like to see Sen. Barack Obama become the next U.S. president because “he has a vision to change America.”

One Obama campaign insider said, “Getting this endorsement is tantamount to picking up a superdelegate vote. But with Hamas, Sen. Obama didn’t have to compromise his principles or positions, or make any commitments beyond what he has already promised.”

The unnamed source said he expected the Hamas announcement “would open the floodgates” and the Illinois senator will soon have the support of what he called “the Carter coalition of global non-governmental organizations that support change in the U.S.”

At first,I wanted to give Obama the benefit of the doubt, but now believe he is the Trojan Horse of this campaign.
How many times can he disclaim his relationships with these seedy characters?
To quote my dad”birds of a feather flock to gether”. Better yet, Proverbs 13:20 states

In a little over 230 years the people of the USofA with that incredible document, The Constitution built this country to be the greatest nation in the planet’s history.

Countries with thousands of years of history; China, Russia, India, N. Korea, N. Viet Nam, etc. aren’t bothered with hoards of illegals trying to infiltrate their countries. To the contrary people in those countries are risking life and limb to escape to America.

So the Democrats want change the want to change America into another Russia. The Union of Soviet Socialist America. (USSA) With themselves as the muckety mucks running everything.

A lot of blood has flowed since 1776 and a lot more will flow in the future. Our number one enemy today is complacency. We really don’t believe the liberals are serious even as we see a multitude of our freedoms vanishing before our very eyes. Compared to our home grown liberals, the Muslims are nothing more than a bothersome annoyance.

The deer rifles are going to have to come out of the closet. Our next war will be “Civil War II” Not North vs South but Conservatives vs Liberals.

The major cities will become killing fields as the liberals are hunted down and exterminated. Or as an option, the Conservatives can just throw in the towel, roll over and America as we’ve known it will cease to exist. Americans will be risking life and limb to become illegal aliens fleeing to Cuba or Venezuela. Perhaps North Viet Nam would provide better treatment?

At my age I won’t be around to witness it and then there’s the very real possibility that Jesus will return. Or we may be entering the onset of the tribulation. It’ s going to happen and it’s got to start somewhere.

A fact-based assertion, since they’re all on the same page in hating America and blaming America first. Plus…there’s always that muslim connection to fall back on. Mind you, I believe “liberals” could be involved I just think that, for this latest go around (since 9/11) it’s been much more “conservative” driven. Or, as I said…Bush driven and I thought he was supposed to be “conservative” (even if his fiscal policy belies that myth a bit)

Darn it. Well this is from my hometown (sorry Kellior) where all the women are cold and the children are chipping ice
    ***************************************************

Detroit Lakes, Minn., got the cold shoulder from spring in 1908.

That year, ice went off Big Detroit Lake on May 19.

The thaw, the latest in 113 years of record keeping, was almost a month past the average ice-out date of April 20.

This spring, Minnesota again is in no rush to thaw out, with lake ice-outs running seven to 10 days later than average.

Could icy conditions threaten the May 10 fishing opener?

“That would be a stretch. We would have to have quite a cold second half of April and maybe a few more snowstorms,” said Pete Boulay, assistant state climatologist.

Still, lakeshore owners may have to wait two to three more weeks before putting docks in, said Bob Merritt, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources hydrologist.

Many lakes in west central Minnesota still have two feet of solid ice atop them, according to Merritt, who said conditions could change quickly.

mkk #23 - Speaking of “fire in the belly” it usually takes something that crosses the line to ignite that fire.

An unacceptable tax on tea for British citizens who were noted tea drinkers, brought on the Boston “Tea Party” It took a Jimmy Carter to usher in Ronald Reagan.

I don’t think B. Hussein Obama has a chance of beating McCain but then Harry Truman was given zero chance against Thomas Dewey back in ‘48. Copies of The Chicago Tribune with the “DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN” are collector’s items. (only a relative few made it to the streets before they were recalled).

So since God puts rulers on the throne and deposes them as well. It may be that we need Obama and the horrors that will come with his Presidency so that we will reminisce fondly about how good we had it back in the good old Clinton, Inc. days. The nation can then with “fire in the belly” turn on the religion of liberalism.

It will then create a landslide, sweeping Duncan Hunter and/or Jim Inhofe into office to restructure the government and save America (Well it’s not impossible) - (right?).

Well, ET. They accused Jesus of being crazy too. Liberalism is !00% anti-Christ. Keep on drinking the Koolaid, few recognize the dangers lurking around liberalism’s corner. Would it be better to let your nation be destroyed than to fight for your blood bought freedom? I don’t see it happening, but if the figth broke out where would you stand, or where would you run to? The war for independence was not popular, many of the movers and shakers of that day were believers, but they did not form a socialistic form of government. The duped citizens of our country are ready to swallow it hook, line, and sinker (fishin’ lingo - at no additional cost). One thing the founders had that few in America today have is understanding, it came from God. Go back to your false messiah, your god doesn’t give you any understanding as to what this country was founded on, and why it was founded.

e.t. “crazy” - I believe those are the exact words someone uttered back in 1861, but brother against brother and father against son was the result of those crazy God fearing Christians who were slaughtered by the tens of thousands on the various Civil War Battlefields of the day. Of course its crazy - that entire war (1861 - 1865) was crazy. The battle of little round top was insanity, which is why I’d prefer to vote the liberals out of office.

I’m not crazy - but neither am I naive enough to think it can’t happen.

The Gopher State is highlighted in today’s “Human Events”

    Probable Pawlenty? By John Gizzi

Pawlenty is praised as the most conservative governor in the state’s history but Bob Novak is raising questions. Seems that like Bush, Pawlenty is preaching out of Algore’s bible on global warming. Instead of exposing the hoax for what it is.

Worse yet he’s joined the Jennifer Granholm school of liberalism, by raising taxes on tobacco.

To his credit he’s with McCain on the war on terrorists and unlike McCain, he’s heck for leather on border security.

The talk seems centered on his being McCain’s running mate come November. I guess with the Democrats in a self destruct mode it don’t matter much although I personally would prefer a McCain/Brown or McCain/Rice ticket.

No…no… of course the liberals aren’t stripping away our freedoms. When a business is forced to plead with a city panel for permission to post a “Speak English” sign; somethings very rotten.

    From DRUDGE today:

“Speak English” Signs OK at Philly Shop
breitbart.com — PHILADELPHIA %28AP%29 - The owner of a famous cheesesteak shop did not discriminate when he posted signs asking customers to speak English%2C a city panel ruled Wednesday.

No one should be accused of discrimination for a “Speak English” sign. But left unchecked it will only get worse. Already I’ve read of people not being hired, solely because they weren’t bi-lingual and didn’t speak the Spanish or Mexican language. (how about a dozen other languages while they’re at it?)

What’s next? The homosexuals getting a law requiring new employees to be bi-sexual as well as bi-lingual to avoid charges of discrimination?

–adjective 1. favorable to progress or reform, as in political or religious affairs.
    2. (often initial capital letter) noting or pertaining to a political party advocating measures of progressive political reform.
    3. of, pertaining to, based on, or advocating liberalism.
    4. favorable to or in accord with concepts of maximum individual freedom possible, esp. as guaranteed by law and secured by governmental protection of civil liberties.

I just wanted you to know (not that you’d care) but at age 70, I have shopped Walgreens for many, many years. All my prescriptions were through your pharmacy - different locations, different cities.

No more. I’m stupid enough without continuing to do business with Corporate entities who are even stupider than myself. Recent T.V. ads are saying that Walgreens has bought into and is participating in The Great Algore hoax.

The idea of “Manmade Global warming” is so idiotic that only certifiable idiots would be fooled and I will not trust the filling of my prescriptions to idiots.

Please check the facts before committing yourself to a “Chicken Little ‘The sky is falling’ hoax. It’s a scam that has the gullible buying phoney ‘Carbon Credits’ and England already has injunctions forbidding the showing of Algore’s faked film “An Inconvenient Truth” without an accompanying caveat noting that 12 provable inaccuracies in the movie.

There are millions of people who know the truth about Algore. When you look, the temperature flattened in 1998 and has dropped to 1895 level. It’s a scam and you’ve become part of it with your involvement.

Science is science and there is no such thing as a consensus of scientists. Science is no part of any consensus. Wake up and check and verify the facts.

After that it’s simply a matter of chip, chip, chipping away and eventually, if no one stops you, you end up with a statue. It may be of David, Venus de Milo, Atlas, The thinker or whatever you have in mind.

The chips may be big (around the legs or base) or using light taps and a tiny chisel an itsy bitsy chip (around the eyes, nostrils and lips). In any case you continue chipping away studiously everything that don’t conform to your idea, dream, plan or vision.

So with the perfect Socialist State as a vision, the liberals have been chipping away at America for decade after decade.

The previously mentioned (# 47) discrimination complaint about a “Speak English” sign is just another little chip. Spotted Owls, Darter snails, steel spikes in trees for logger’s chainsaws, phony claims about the moose and polar bears, bigger government, entitlement programs, higher taxes, same sex marriage, abortion, anti Christian agenda, etc., etc.

All with the singular purpose of remaking America in their own image. and that is why the must be defeated in the elections and hopefully not on the battlefields.

Democracy sucks! It’s like asking the majority of people what they would prefer and then doing that.
Who’s bright idea was that anyway? Stupid founding fathers! King George would never have allowed us to “sink” so low but left to our own devices…all heck breaks loose.

    Jeeze Boberin, bad friday?
Democracy indeed would suck, thats why we enjoy representitive Government. Majority rule always ends in mob mentality mayhem.
I also agree with your definitions above of Liberal. Anyone who truly enspouses THOSE ideals has every right to. I just don’t need them side stepping the Constitution, and twisting Law to “Force their beliefs down my throat!”.
    ever heard that argument before?

Libby Gone #67: I suspect the reason that boberin thinks “Democracy sucks!” is that democracy gave us 8 years of George W. Bush.

Patience, boberin. In a very short time, you’ll have a chance to see just how much democracy really can suck! I’m betting that you won’t like things any better than you do right now, though …

And, BTW, bob - on the issue of countries “taking matters into their own hands … ” - are you referring to Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait? If not- if you mean to imply that the U.S. was “acting unilaterally … ” - that isn’t the way I remember it. I seem to recall some rather lengthy discussions that took place, in the U.N., prior to our invasion - didn’t you have them on your TV ? Hint: Colin Powell ? You’ve heard of him, right ?

But you overlooked the liberal position that the Constitution is a “living, breathing, ever changing (with the times) document”

There is no other explanation for how the tiny minority of homosexuals (2%) has been able to force (pass laws) the majority to accept, and teach in schools that such perversion is normal.

While most of us are out in the real world struggling under the pitiful 8 years of Bush, you people stay tucked away in your internet social closet and spew anger and hatred. What have you all got to be angry about? Your President has been in office 8 years. Your party has had the opportunity to take this country from the depths of the Clinton administration and turn it into the promised Utopia of your policies.

Boberin, keep up the good work. Know that it is in vein.

The fact is you don’t! You’re cowards! You can talk a good game here were it’s safe in cyber world, but you’re glad to let someone else actually do your fighting for you.

That definition of liberal doesn’t apply to those I see willing to take the name but be that as it may, socialist or communist is much closer to our form of government today. You can have your ‘rights’, just don’t complain about the restrictions that get put on them.
Socialists will let you run your mouth all day long because that represents no real threat. Own a firearm and see how many restrictions can be put on a ‘right’. Think you’re safe in your home? Anonymous call to the police saying they heard a gunshot(s) from your abode and knock knock, we’re coming in, then you get searched, house torn up and even if theres no gun, anything else you may have (antique sword) gets taken until the investigation is finished. Oh yes, we do have rights don’t we? My bad.

Liberals look to the Government for all the things they aren’t man (or woman) enough to own up to what should be their own personal responsibility.

Children being raised in liberal education schools with no respect for themselves or others. Respect is earned bwo character, and integrity where your word is your worth and your worth is your word. If one’s word is worthless then he may be a male, but he’s definitely not a man.

Robert Heinlein summed it up rather well in his book “Time Enough For Love”

“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.”

Fred Re#80: “He could have forced the wall/fence …

Remember that this is also an eminent domain issue. A big part of the border security issue results from the fact we’ve let people buy homes and businesses right at the very edge — some of those smuggler’s tunnels we’ve heard of are little more than holes knocked through adjoining basement walls. Because of that, the border fence project isn’t just a matter of driving posts and stringing wire; it involves putting people out of their homes and businesses.

Now, we could argue for a long time whether letting land so close to the border become private property was a good idea (does The Gummint own land by default until, in its good pleasure, it grants it to a private owner?) but even if we decided who was at fault ten or fifty or a hundred years ago when a particular piece of property became someone’s home or livelihood, the fact remains that our entire Constitution was built upon, and designed to defend, the concept of defending of individual liberty against the power of the state.

The Soviet Union was able to build the Berlin Wall virtually overnight, and the United States certainly has the technical and engineering prowess to put up the Border Fence in an equally timely fashion. The difference lies in the fact that the U.S.S.R. put the state above the individual; homes and businesses along the Wall could simply be bulldozed out of the way for what was deemed The Public Good. Thank God the United States does not have such a cavalier attitude toward its citizens, but understand that our system does slow the wheels of progress from time to time.

Shock??? More like the chickens have come home to roost for the New York Slimes, one of this most lie-filled, unpatriotic rags in America. The liberals rail that the New York Slimes accurately quotes Obamalamadumdum and then remain silent when the Slimes puts words in John McCain’s mouth. Already the Slimes has had to print two retractions concerning accurate comments made by Mr. McCain regarding the various relationships between Hamas, al Qaeda, the Sunnis and the Shias - all being Islamofascists in the final analysis. The Slimes is so “nuanced” when trying to shill for messiah Obama but actually makes up comments supposedly made by John McCain. The folks at Powerline have thoroughly fisked the Slimes on this journalistic debacle.

gafisher #84 You are right, probably more right than you know.

I have often poised the question; “If someone offered you a brand new Mercedes for $100.00 with no ‘original’ paperwork, would you buy it?” Almost everyone said, “No.” their reason was that it could only be a stolen car. I cited that as my reason for having refused to buy a house, built on stolen property. With a few isolated exceptions most of the properties in America were obtained by someone in past history murdering the owners or driving them off to be relocated on “Reservations” sort of like was done to American Citizens with Japanese ancestry during WWII.

There are a lot of properties along the border that could be, and perhaps should be an eminent domain issue.

Better than using eminent domain to seize property because someone else can make better (more profitable) use of it.
So you will get no argument from me as I’m in agreement with what you wrote.

I doubt that the Louisiana Purchase resulted in Title,Deeds signed by the Native American residents; nor were they in receipt of any fair and equitable remuneration.

Bober, quit hiding behind manipulated definitions of “liberalism.” The liberalism of today is little more than warmed over neo-Marxism.

The founding fathers were what one would call classical liberals - believed in limited government, that every law-abiding, sane person has a right to bear arms in defense of onesself, family or country, that our unalienable rights were bequeath to us by God and not the State, believed in strong private property rights.

Tragically, recent history has demonstrated that those on your side of the aisle, though paying lip service to the concepts of founding liberty are actually opposed to the very substance of those things I listed above. It is you and the other brain-dead collectivist fascists on your side of the aisle who will prove to be opposed to the natural rights of man and lady liberty herself. How ironic that a person who spews so much rhetoric about personal freedom and resonsibility ultimately finds himself so wrong on the basic facts about real “liberalism”.

If you truly have an open mind, you would understand this reality when you read this non-partisan analysis of the kind of liberalism embraced by the American founders.

It’s been my experience that most liberals today are to the left of Stalin on moral issues and just to the right of Stalin on issues about central government and collectivism. Hence my reference to modern liberals as little more than neo-Marxists, despite whatever glowing definition you might find to shore up your warped view of reality.

Blacklion, you’re a pathetic, self-righteous, blind political hack. You’re going to hate your way to world peace I see. Still lying to yourself about how noble you are and how infallible your opinions are, eh? I thought the earmark of someone who is as progressive you believe yourself to be is that you’re willing to consider that there are other opinions just as legitimate as your own and that you shouldn’t be making moral judgments with respect to people who hold contrary opinions because, after all, you don’t believe in absolute truth, you despise those who do (i.e. Christian fundies), and morals are all relative. Hypocrite!

From my POV you’re little more than a despot in the making. I suppose you’re an Obamamaniac to boot.

Darthmeister #86 - “… one of this most lie-filled, unpatriotic rags in America.”

I’m glad you said ‘one of’ instead of ‘the’ as I am all too familiar with “The Saint Petersburg Times” people I knew, working there I would upset by asking what bank they used to get their paychecks converted from Rubles into dollars? Pravada was more Christian Conservative than them.

A good friend’s daughter working for them (she acted and talked as if Jimmy Carter was in fact “God on earth”) when she tried to deny the liberal bias, I offered her a bet of $500.00 (with her father holding the wager) that I would buy for her two ’scrap books’; in “A” she would cut and paste all articles Pro America or Pro Reagan. in “B” she would put all articles anti American or Anti Reagan.

She would win if she filled one side of one page in book “A” or failed to fill both sides of all pages in book “B”, in one year. I made the offer in front of her father and not being a total fool, she rejected the bet. (I knew as well as she that I would win.)
