(2002-10-14) — In a display of valor and courage, a small number of bold Islamic freedom-fighters have attacked an Indonesian garrison at the island fortress of Bali, inflicting heavy casualties.
Despite being vastly outnumbered by the forces defending the Sari Nightclub outpost of the Kuta Beach garrison, the Muslim warriors slew more than 180 of the enemy and wounded many more.
“These youths of Allah have once again triumphed over superior numbers,” said Ali Don-Quixote, spokesman for Al Qaeda. “Despite the thumping of the artillery and the rapid movements of the enemy, our soldiers have conquered.”
Mr. Don-Quixote, brushed off allegations that the establishment was actually a nightclub, the ‘thumping’ was music and the ‘rapid movement’ of the unarmed civilians is called dancing.
